Nanoha walked around the park slowly, enjoying the slight breeze in the air. She should probably check in to see if her luggage had arrived, but...the Nephilim was just enjoying herself too much. The park was better than she'd expected it to be! Usually, she was used to half passed attempts at "preserving nature", but this...this was the real thing! Then again, it looked as if there was barely anyone here. "Lucky for us, eh?" She smiled, talking to no one in particular as she sat down on a bench near the trail, leaning back and sighing in happiness.

Shiro was enjoying the gentle breeze as he rested on a tree branch. His tail swayed as it dangled below him. He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply, loving the scents the came with the new school year. New people, new pets, new scents from exotic places he could only imagine visiting. His ears twitched as he picked up the sound of a soft voice. He opened his eyes and looked around, ears swiveling to detect the origin of the voice. He moved toward the end of the branch which, much to his dismay, promptly broke, sending him falling through branches before he landed on the ground.
"Ah, ********> He cried out upon impact.

  ＊▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬＊ ＊As the peaceful, serene feeling of the park was all but boring, something decided to liven things up, or rather someone. It wouldn't be long before a shockwave filled with sinister, demonic energy was released and stretched throughout the park, giving everyone in the park a chill as though a monster was breathing down their necks. The source of this shockwave came from a rather tall young man, standing at 6'4", who was carrying a duffle bag over his shoulder and looked as though he had no idea that he released the energy nor felt it. In his right hand there was a map with a star drawn over the academy he was going to attend, making it clear that he was lost..."Hm...Where am I?" He would ask himself out loud before starting to walk towards a random direction to see if he could find someone to help him out.

Shiro sat up, rubbing his head.
"Dammit." He grumbled as he looked around. Fortunately, no one seemed to notice his blunder. He stood and began brushing leaves from himself when he felt an eerie energy. He stood still for a moment, debating 'fight or flight'.
'If I investigate...oh, we all know what happened to the cat at times like that.' He decided that climbing back up his tree was the better way to deal with the situation and quickly clambered up onto one of the lower branches.

Nanoha's peace was all but interrupted, first by the strange cat boy, next by the chill in the air. "What the hell?!" She shouted, jumping as she sat on the bench. "What was that?!" Nanoha looked up and over to the tree, seeing what seemed to be a cat demon. But he didn't seem to be the source of that powerful energy burst. "Hey Cat! Do you know where that thing came from just now?" She asked as he got back into his tree.

 -+-+-+-"Fate?"-+-+-+-Shiro almost fell out of the tree again as he was suddenly being shouted at. His head snapped to face the girl on the bench, ears layed back. "Of course I don't know where it came from." He snapped. "That's exactly what I was just wondering." He sat on a branch, feet dangling down, and grabbed his tail, petting it slightly. He would shout out as he wasn't expecting to hit a tree, which made him chuckle in embarrassment "Guess I oughta look where I'm going..." He would say in an embarrassed voice, somewhat hoping that no one saw that...Sighing slightly as he scratched the bridge of his nose, he would move on with his journey to find the academy! It wouldn't long however when another shockwave was released with the same demonic energy as before and the young man showed no signs of being aware of this.

"Uuuurgh...cats are cute but so lazy..." Nanoha murmured, standing up and letting her wings out. "Looks like I gotta go search for this thing alone." Soon after, she flew up high, trying to get a better few of the park. Nothing...nothing..until she saw someone in a cluster of trees, sensing that the creepy feeling was coming from him. "Found you..." She whispered to herself, swooping down and landing softly a few feet away from him. "Excuse me!" She called out to him.

He was twitching to go find out, but he was afraid of the consequences. He had survived 3 years at the damn Academy and he wasn't about to risk death now. He slid down the tree, landing softly on the ground. He slipped on his shoes he had discarded before climbing the tree at the beginning of the day. "I should go get some food." Curious, he would look at the woman and his eyes widened in amazement as he saw that she had wings! Simply amazing! Having a rather excited look on his face, he would approach her and say "Amazing! You have wings! A-Are you an angel?" He would exclaim before asking what she was exactly. This young man obviously seemed like the kind who was easily amazed by things. He wanted to touch them, to feel the feathers on her angelic wings. It was then that he began to wonder if they tasted like chicken which made him create vivid imaginations of fried chicken wings and thus, making his mouth water and drool.

"Uh...y-yeah I guess you could ssy I was an angel?" She said, rather taken aback as he approached, super interested in her wings. Nanoha fluttered them a bit, giving him a partly confused look. "...are you...drooling? Nevermind. Hey, did you cause that recent energy surge?! That was really weird!" She scolded, quite annoyed. "You shouldn't be spreading dark energy all willy-nilly."

Especially those fried twinkie things he's heard about...However he would have to put such delicious thoughts aside for now as she asked him a question and it was a rather confusing one. Tilting his head out of confusion, he would say "Huh? What are you talking about?" With an honest and curious voice. He truly had no idea what she was talking about, was she not feeling well?

The guy looked a bit...dazed. Kind of like an airhead. "...you know what I'm talking about." Nanoha grumbled, giving him a suspicious look. "Anyway...what are you doing out here in this part of the park where no one goes?! Are you lost or something? Need some help?" Though she knew there was something a bit off about him, Nanoha couldn't help trying to be polite. "I'm heading to the academy. Maybe I could help you find what you're looking for."
