She hadn't the slightest idea or notion of where she could be. She had been following her companion, Aura when she suddenly... well.. she was blown somewhere else. She had shrunk down to her miniature size for it was far easier for her to travel when it was windy; it just kind of blew her anywhere. Which was probably why she had gotten misplaced from her earlier direction. Oh well. She'd find her way eventually.
She honestly didn't spend much time in her miniature size and it was curious to her, how leafs and twigs suddenly seemed like a forest of their own. She didn't particularly like being so small because she felt extremely vulnerable in this state. It wasn't something she was entire comfortable with yet. Indeed she was born this way and it was who she was, but it was still something she was learning to understand. Every equine was different here and she hadn't met all the different kinds so she was still new to how mean some could be.
She changed back into her larger state and looked around. She wasn't sure of this place; it wasn't a place she was used to. There were few trees and lots of plains at least. She wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing yet. She kind of stuck out. She flicked her tail against her hindquarters for a moment and her long ears twisted as she listened to the sounds around her. Was she alone out here? She didn't see anyone just yet and decided to stick closer to the small grove of trees that was nearby.
She wasn't sure which was safer yet, open plains or small forest. Oh the decisions to be made.

What was she doing? Even the internal question made her wince; banished not too long ago from the Court of the Seelie and already the mannerisms and the impoliteness of the Non Court have started to color her thoughts.
Okay, they were only impolite because they would ask questions and did not know that doing such a thing was rude, for it demanded an answer. She could be rude in her own thoughts right? There she went again, asking a question. Perhaps internal ones were not bad, for none could hear them but her; only when spoken aloud, when not in War Time, were her questions uncouth.
Ashaniel signed and gazed at her reflection in the small pool; she was beautiful and it was because of that beauty so many lives had been hurt. The Seelies would go to war for beauty, they worshiped, and for a while, it was all Ashaniel had. For she lacked the skill to create perfect pieces of pottery or even weave magical tales that shine images into her audiences’ minds. Until that fateful day at the Carousel, when she met her brother and first heard the call of music to her heart, the pink mare failed at everything except for her beauty.
“It does not help you here, in this world outside of the Court, with its own rules and strange dangers,” her voice was melodious as she spoke to her reflection, her blue mane ruffled slightly in the breeze and her purple gem glittered as it caught the sun’s rays through the canopy of leaves, “You must learn and adapt or you will not live long in this uncivilized place.” She knew that she was being mean, so far she had encountered many Fae who were kind to her, but soon she knew she would encounter a Daoine Eile. Ash shivered at the thought and pushed back the memories of the previous Eile she had met, the one who had cost her her best friend.
AstoriaFallen I am so sorry! I had it written on a piece of paper, just never typed it up x.x

She decided that she would go into the grove, she figured nothing too bad could come of it. She walked forward, steps slow and light. She was enjoying the day. She often found herself wandering more and more lately. She wasn't sure why exactly but she figured in time it would all be clear to her.
As she entered the grove she thought she heard someone talking. She didn't see anyone so she walked onwards, her gaze searching for whomever it was that owned the voice. The ground crunched softly beneath her hooves and her hair cascaded around her neck and face as she walked, ears twisting slightly as she listened for the voice to speak again. She heard it and this time it sounded much closer so she changed directions slightly and headed towards it.
As she came into view of the mare she paused slightly and watched her for a moment. "Hello." She called out softly, not wanting to get too much closer in case the mare was hostile.

Ash started at the soft greeting, so engrossed she had been with her thoughts and reflection that she has not noticed the arrival of the mare. It would not do, she must remain on her guard in this strange land, for not all is as it appears.
"I See You Child of the Daoine Sidhe," Ashaniel said in response to the 'hello' and only a hint of her relief that the newcomer was Fae showed in her voice. The mare was a startling blue which reminded the Seelie of the topaz or aquamarine stones that adorned a few members of the Court. Intricate designs of a lighter blue covered the entire body of the mare.
Now that she had company, Ash was not sure how to proceed. She still did not know the ways of the Fae outside of the Court and if she had not met that one Daoine Eile she probably would not know that the simple 'hello' was the same as the Seelies' customary 'I See You'.
Back home, after greetings were exchanged, they would make tea which would result in hours of talk about the flavor, the process of brewing the tea, the difference of teas throughout the year and end with talk of the weather. It was a dance of words that many who were unaccustomed found it long, tedious, and time consuming. No one was in a hurry in the Court, it was against etiquette and custom.
So Ash stood in silence, waiting for the other fae to talk and then she would figure out how to proceed.

Amadahy's wings fluttered behind her rapidly as the other spoke to her and she wasn't exactly sure what a Child of Daoine Sidhe was but she figured that the other was well versed in what she was saying so left it at that. She waited for a moment, not very long, as she wondered if the fae would say anything else. Realizing she was waiting for her to respond to her phrase her wings fluttered wildly behind her once more. "I see you." She hadn't really heard anyone say that before but she figured it was her form of greeting. While Amadahy was young she wasn't exactly dense. "I am called Amadahy, what is your name?" She asked her hoping to get some form of a response. The mare was so foreign to her but so beautiful at the same time. "Perhaps we can look for a spot to get something to drink?" She offered, at least it would get them moving and they could do it together.
