Oh wow, you know I saw glimpses of parapara on TV over there.. and CMs for those CDs too with those scary ganguros.. didn't that Ayaya impersonator join them on that "Mai-a-hii Mai-a-hoo" song? sweatdrop

Of course I don't know anything about it. I saw a thing on TV showing parapara in the club, and it was just... disturbing. The entire club just moving their arms, it was strange!

wisteria darling

You are talking about Ken Maeda, he is funny and yeah para is funny but if you and some friends are just hanging out at your house watching anime and you start doing para its really fun!

it makes my arms hurt. crying i'm pretty bad at it. but i have a couple routines down which could be considered semi-para para. they're not really eurobeat songs or anything like that, but they're dances from a musical that are very para para-like, and i just happened to have them memorized. xd it's really too bad that the nearest para para paradise machine is three hours away. sad i'd love to give that game a try. i like playing DDR and other games like that...

seems like there are a lot of para para clips on youtube. i swear, i think i have the mickey mouse routine down... there are so many clips i've learned it by osmosis. gonk

I've played Para! Para! Paradise! but other than that, I haven't had much -- if any -- contact with ParaPara. There was this guy at the arcade, though, who was AMAZING at it. heart

i love para para.. but i hardly know any moves... i wish the home version of para para paradise was easily available in america .. maybe one day.. what the heck are they waiting for? .. i managed to located a para para machine in the nearby city but i haven't been brave enough to try it yet.. its all the way in the back of a crowded dark smelly arcade..its the only machine that no one ever uses..so when someone does, every single person there turns to watch redface ..

I SO VERY----- I

*closet ParaPara fan* (shh...don't tell anyone)

Well...mostly whenever I listen to Psycho le Cemu's music. It puts me in the "ParaPara mood." sweatdrop I wish the machine near my house (about 30 minutes south) had a PLC song or two...I'd be there all the time. redface

But I'll admit...I download the practice videos from time-to-time.

But I am working on buying all the Gazen DVD's. whee

There's also a TV show here that has Para Para in it, called Gyarusa-. It's really weird. It also has a cowboy in it. *shrug*

You can see a CM for it Here

It is interesting, actually. There's a place where you can d/l the episodes, if you're interested. I can edit this post with the link, once I find it...

uhhh, kodocha opening? which one? they all have names, and are actual songs. i have every kodocha song. >_> i love that anime. "juuku-ji no news"? "ultra relax"?

either way, kodomo no omocha isn't connected to parapara in any way that i know about...

*EDITS* OH!!! i just remembered the visuals for "ultra relax" and all the anime characters look like they're doing parapara, right?? oh, man, i love that! yeah, uh, it's not eurobeat music or anything, and i think they just did it because it looked funny... not necessarily parapara... not officially, at least.

in other news, i watched the first couple episodes of gyarusa~. o_O "arigatou daichi, arigatou taiyou, inochi wo arigatou!"

x_x;;; that cowboy is crazy. and for a show about parapara, they don't do parapara very much...
