So this was the hunter he'd read about - he'd been looking for someone who had some medical skills that wasn't already shielded from risky mission work by infirmary duty. Abbi fit the bill, even if she did break out into little dances with little to no prior notice. Lucky didn't really complain much as Abbi herded him around and talked, as he seemed to be pretty used to being told what to do and where to go. There was only one thing about their upcoming mission that seemed to be distressing him --

"Yes, but - oh god Abbi please," Lucky mumbled as he practically clawed at his own face in embarrassment on the way over from Abbi's dorm. "Don't tell Jack I'm looking at files on him."

Not that it wasn't true, just that he didn't want Jack to know that.

Lucky remained beside Jack's door rather than in front of it, delaying any inevitable conversation by exactly two seconds. He was trying his best to stay focused and collected as he rifled around his own bag for the mission briefing and the pages of extraneous notes he'd stapled to it. Abbi's enthusiastic introduction only made him freeze in place like a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming car.
