POLLUX ATTACK REVISIONS

Sailor Scout Attack: Chilling Storm
A five foot radius is covered in a thin layer of frost. It is frost and not brittle ice at this stage, and those caught in the AoE would find frost forming on them selves as well as the environment. It effects anyone caught in the attack, Pollux and his allies included. It melts and acts like normal frost otherwise, meaning, depending on the environment the ice may linger, or melt very shortly. Once per battle. Cannot attack a second time.

Revise: An area of cold graces a five foot radius- encasing those caught in the field under a thick layer of ice, immobilizing them for 15 seconds. The ice can hold longer in colder weather or if used in tandem with other cold attacks, but will shorten if exposed to magical heat sources. The ice shatters after the 15 seconds, and can lacerate those previous encased. It can be broken off by outside influences.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Freezing Storm
Power up of 1, no longer will grab allies and covers a 7 foot radius. Ice can thicken and be shattered into fragments that cause damage. Can be used once in battle, unless it is an ORP, or the attack is being influenced by magical forces. A second attack of this level would drain him to state of high vulnerability.

A ten foot radius of cold, a blast effect of ice encases those caught, which lacerates and impails when shattered. It does not immobilize any longer but in does cover the targets with heavily barbed ice, up to two inch long spikes. The ice quickly melts off of warmer bodies once broken, and lingers only on cold or inorganic material.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Hell's Fury
Ice covers Pollux's foot/shin and delivers a powered up kick to his enemy. On impact it shatters, leaving damage on both sides. the layer of ice has small sharp spikes, which are prone to breaking off and can damage himself as well as his enemies. Once per battle. Twice would leave him in a highly weakened state and at risk.

His armor covered in a layer of ice, thick spikes of ice form acting as both agents of defense and offense. The ice doesn't shatter or break, and lasts for several substantial blows before melting into mist. If no blows are made or, the impacts are insignificant, the ice spikes on the armor linger until Pollux is powered down or he purposely breaks the coating.

Castor basic attack remix

Sailor Scout Attack: Stinging Storm
Small, sharp drops of hail like daggers, (think quarter sized) rain down from the sky, damaging the opponent. It also can damage allies if not used carefully. It stings more then hurts.
Hail the size of small knives (2 inches in length) rain down from non-existent clouds lacerating those caught in the area. The area is roughly a ten foot radius indoors, but can expand up to 20 foot radius outdoors. The ice vanishes into mist afterward, and the attack itself lasts only 5 seconds. It cannot distinguish friend from foe.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Slashing Storm
HUEG BRICKS OF HAIL. Okay, Not that huge, but, about fist sized hail rains down on an opponent. It no longer will damage allies, and can be focused onto singular targets.
A combination of larger knife shaped hail (roughly 4 inches in length) and now typical ball hail rain down from non-existent clouds. The radius remains unchanged, but the time is now up to 10 seconds, and it no longer will hit allied/unintended targets.

Eternal Sailor Attack: Heaven's Fury
This attack can also be used in the way of a literal fist. Going to punch his opponent, the fist is covered in ice and shatters upon impact. However, it damages both parties.

Ice forming along his arms in a thick layer, accentuated by spiked and bladed knuckles and forearm. The ice doesn't shatter easily, and can create several impacts before braking away and fading into mist. If he doesn't cause enough impact to break the ice, it lingers until he has powered down or breaks it himself.

Caveat- If Castor is using his armor ability, this attack covers the entire surface of his body, though it remains focused on his arms.

Hey, Vamps!

This crit is based on a discussion opened with all of the stamping staff; I wanted to get a few extra opinions on things so I thought it was only fair if I let you know that I have based this off of my feelings and the cumulative feelings of the staff I consulted.

FOR POLLUX

Basic Attack: This sounds fine, though I think it might be too much variety if you are including that it increases/decreases based on temperature. This can get confusing and vague without finite restrictions, so I think it would be best if the attack lasted for fifteen seconds/being broken by outside influences.

Super Attack: This attack has several major improvements from the basic attack and I am concerned that it is too powerful; ice needles up to two inches in length could cause severe damage. In acupuncture procedures gone wrong, a two inch needle is large enough to puncture a lung. If ice needles are encasing them/impaling them at random locations, this could cause severe nerve and organ damage if punctured in the right location. I would be fine if barbed ice coated them, rubbing uncomfortably and prickling their skin, however two inch needles have the potential to be far too damaging. Additionally, is the duration of this attack still fifteen seconds or has it changed? (I couldn’t find a specified number in the writeup)

Eternal Attack: This attack would be fine without the thick ice spikes, but because senshi are not supposed to have weapons, I am afraid this would constitute as such! If he was going to have powerful ice armor that would act as increased offense and defense, this would be fine, but spikes have the potential to cause too much damage, sorry. While it is fine to say that a certain level of attacks could destroy this weapon prematurely, it will also need a concrete duration. I had a few other questions; how many attacks could it sustain (either from him or for him?) And how much of his body does this magical armor cover?

Are all of Pollux's attacks one time use or do they have more than one usage?

FOR CASTOR

Basic Attack: For this attack, is the hail shaped like knives or just the size of two inch knives? Senshi are not allowed to summon weapons to aid them, so I think this might cross that line. Additionally, two inch knives that fall from the sky would have not only edges, but velocity capable of immediately killing an individual. A ten foot radius is still fairly large for a basic senshi attack, but it could still cause damage to a wide group of people; for this attack to be fair, I think the radius should be capped at ten feet, and the hail should come in its natural form rather than knives. Hail, even up to two inches, is enough to cause severe damage and there have been reports of golf ball sized hail killing people. Five seconds would be enough time to cause significant damage with a few stray hail balls; how many were you thinking might rain down in this time period?

Super Attack: Knife shaped hail of four inches for ten seconds is incredibly lethal, so I think this attack might need to be toned down a bit, sorry! Increasing the duration seems fine, but it might help to understand how many pieces (roughly) of hail are falling so I can give this better crit!

Eternal Attack: I have the same crit for this as I do for Pollux's eternal attack!

Please quote me if you have any questions or comments or make any changes and I'll be back as soon as possible!

Please keep in mind, a lot of the info for their previous attacks is/were not included as at the time, there were no real outlines and such aside from 'here make up a few lines and its good'- Thus, the VAST MAJORITY of key factors of their attacks were simply not present. Also keep in mind, they've been senshi for well over 4 years and would now be considered 'masters' of their attack. They would at this point, have more (significantly more at that) control of their power than what they had previously. This fact is canon, and that's what I've been basing their changes upon.

RE Pollux:

S1- The temperatures is already canon. This also has applied to Castor's attacks as well. It's been used only in terms of battle aftermath- IE: leaving no evidence or in cases where there was a environmental status effect.

S2- This actually is just laying out what his powers actually do. The frost at this stage has always been spiked and thickly layered. The duration would be the same as previously, though. I realize I messed up on layout, so I've edited it to try and better elaborate what his attack does.

S3- This does not fall under the category of weapons.-A weapon would be an item, which, has been approved for several senshi both in the past, and presently. As for how much it covers- His armor which would be p easy to define given his outfit. This is also laying out what had been previously 'missing'. As for how many hits- It must be an attack with equal force or significant impact.

All attacks follow the canon limits on number of times casting.

RE Castor

S1- It does not cross the line of weapons unless somehow, magical attacks that create any material are now classified as weapons and thus, a good majority of senshi are in fact, breaking this rule. Again, its been approved in the past, and presently. They are 'dagger' shaped, (abet, only the blade portion), and no- to power the hail down to its 'natural form' is hypocritical. At that point, hail can come as big as one's fist and it would still be lethal. As for killing, it's a move designed to lacerate/cause large amounts of collateral damage. To put how vastly lacking the original specifications on attacks were: When Castor awoke and used his attack for the first time, it caused enough damage to shut down Hillworth's water heaters. It bent metal. Yet that level of attack is not accurately reflected. To use the argument of 'reports of golf ball sized hail' having killed people discounts the many hundreds of thousands that experience the same thing, if not worst and have at worst, moderate bruising. It's also not taking into account that attacks take time to cast, or, the fact that all s1 characters have well over double the natural resistance towards injury or attack. To frame an attack's limitations on rare outliers is not fair, nor, is it reflective of any realistic evidence.

S2- Stage 2 attacks can be lethal, and given over 4 years of experience using it, to assume somehow that Castor lacks the control or understanding to not have his attack be outright lethal is not taking in the canon mechanics. As for pieces of hail- it varies based on what Castor casts- this is canon, and, is also reflective of 4 years of continual use.

S3- See my response to your criticism of Pollux.

In the past, the stamping procedure was different and I am aware that their profiles were stamped several years ago before we had constructed a more precise method. I am also keeping in mind the fact that they have been around for four years, however I think there may be a misunderstanding as to how powerful they should be as a result of their time as a senshi.

While it is true that they would be masters of their attacks, that does not mean that their attacks could have increased lethality. Regardless of their time as a senshi or their power level, I cannot stamp any attack that could permanently harm, disfigure or kill a group of people.

Pollux:

Basic attack: While I understand that this was approved in the past, I cannot approve it now. It has too many variations and unless you are willing to provide specific, concrete rulings on what differing temperatures can do, I cannot approve this.

Super attack: Two inch long spikes are still long enough to cause permanent damage or kill an individual, so I cannot stamp this.

Eternal attack: This falls under the category of weapons. He creates an item which he wields on his body. While it is capable of defending him, you have specified that ice spikes form on the armor. Ice spikes imply that it is capable of piercing—such as a bladed weapon. If I have misunderstood this, please clarify in your attack what happens instead, as I realize I may have misunderstood. Regarding Pollux's outfit; his art was provided to you during a period of time when it was assumed he would not be in play in the shop, so there is leniency in the rules of his art; a senshi traditionally should have no metal armor on his body. I wanted to clarify where the armor would appear because technically that art should be non-canon to conform with our shop guidelines and, while it may appear on the art as metallic it should not actually be metal armor. I am afraid I still do not have a good idea of how many blows the armor can either withstand or deliver; can you clarify what 'an attack with equal force or significant impact' might entail, or roughly how many hits of this nature the armor could withstand?

Regarding canon limits on number of times casting, could you please specify in your profile what this is? Many people have varying usage limits because of different affects their attacks have (for example, a powerful physical attack may have only one use at a stage, but a small healing attack may have multiple uses at the same stage). It is just for clarification before I stamp and ease of reading when you are using the attack in a roleplay.

Castor

Basic attack: I'm sorry, but I cannot stamp an attack that blatantly is lethal. This is too powerful and does not fit within the shop guidelines. Golf ball sized hail killing people was an example to say that hail was lethal even without being shaped like a dagger. You did not specify that there was a casting time or that there was a way to interrupt casting, so I could not take that into consideration while giving this crit. Regardless, I am sorry but we will need to work on a compromise because it goes against shop rules to allow a senshi to kill. While I understand that as a senshi with four years of experience would have total mastery of his magic, it does not mean that I can bend our OOC rules to accommodate him.

Super Attack: Senshi attacks are not supposed to be lethal regardless of experience or time as a senshi; I cannot bend this rule. I cannot stamp this either, and we will need to work on an alternative.

Eternal Attack: Please see my criticism for Pollux.
