Nova had been placed into Ly's bed, if there was one thing that was to happen it was Ly making sure he was there for his son, he had already placed him in danger and now it was his turn to try to somewhat make it up to him, granted, if he survived this it will be a miracle in its own right "where the hell is that rat!?" Ly growled at the zombie rabbit "it was his stupidity that started this!" He said, holding onto his sons hand as he watched him just getting weaker and weaker "any longer and he..." he stopped himself, tears springing to his eyes, he didn't want to say what he knew was to come, he didn't want to say that 'd' word.

"I am trying Ly, I have texted and called and left messages but what more can I do? He is a busy rat, he can't just tend to us"

"This is his fault! Since when do you speak so damn openly about different poisons!?"

Muraki sighed, Ly had a point, but still, the rat was also doing other things, he was a beta for his own pack, he couldn't just drop everything if he was doing rat pack stuff, he hated to say it, but his own pack did come first.

"And what about that unicorn!? Shouldn't he be here!? Since when did mates leave mates?!"

"Ly, please, it will be alright, he will be here soon, it won't be long, till Nova has his mate" Kuri said as he sat down next to Ly and cuddled him, trying to calm him down.

Nova opened his eyes a little a smiled weakly at his father "dad, have..." he stopped and coughed as Ly climbed onto the bad with him, got under the blankets and just held him.

"Shhh, Sweetheart, save your strength" Ly said as he cuddled up beside him as stroked his hair as he rested his head on his arm, keeping his son close to him.

Muralist was pacing the room when he got a call "yes?" He said as the rat betas voice sounded on the other line in which Muralist explained the situation only to hear a sigh on the other end on the phone "is there anything I can do till you get here?" He asked as he listened and then hung up. Right, we have a plan, it isn't 100% fixing the situation but it will make him not get worse till the Beta gets here" he said as he dialed the dragons number, only one who can help now is him, he is the only one who would be able to get the ingredients that were needed.

Kurt got up and walked it, if there was one thing he was able to do it was make Novas favorite cookies for when he would be able to eat them...at least Kurt had hope he would be able to and beside a, it gave him something to do.



Yay on being on cellphone which is a awkward. XD

Kurt reached over and pressed the but to, didn't say anything, just buzzed in whoever was there any let the gates open to whomever was on the other side.

Muraki had gotten a hold of the Dragon and told him what was needed and had settled down next to the bed and waited for the dragon to bring the potion.

Ly blinked back tears, wanting so much to cry but needed to be strong for his son, it was his fault that this happened and he would, somehow, make it up to him when he came through the other side of this which he believed he would.

Drake had just appeared inside the house, one thing about being a magic user was the fun ways one can just appear out of thin air...not that Muraki liked it but he didn't think it mattered in this instance "I will get it!" Drake called, placing the bag of ingredients on the table by the door and opened it. "Hi, Acuzio, isn't it?" He asked as he stepped back "first door up the stairs on the left" he said, having remembered he was a friend of Lys at least, it had been too long since he had spent time here to remember who was who and who was friends with who etc, tad sad really.

Muraki got up and walked to the door, heading out to wait for Drake to show up and upon opening the door he came face to face with a certain unicorn he hadn't seen in a while "Acuzio, hi, I wish I could say it was on better circumstances that we see you again but alas, it is not, please, go in, Ly will fill you in" he said as he moved past the unicorn, not meaning to be rude as he would usually let the uni in first but he had to see Drake, he had to start on this potion.

Ly looked up as he head the sound of the name of one of his dearest friends "Acuzio?" He asked as he started to cry silently, thankfully not facing his son, the fact was, seeing the unicorn, he couldn't help it, they had been through a lot together, he was just so pleased to see him, if anything, he was hoping that he could give his son that extra bit of strength the wolf needed to help him get through this. Ly knew, was wrong to place upon him but he felt so bad that it was his fault that the tears just had to flow, it just really couldn't be helped even if it was partly for selfish reasons but he would explain everything momentarily, he knew the unicorn would understand.

Ly dried his eyes and sighed "first of all this is my fault, I should have locked my phone and then this wouldn't happened" he said, looking back at his son before turning back to Acuzio "we had a couple of visitors today, Calypso, don't know if you remember him or not but he is my brothers ex gang leader and believes Tamas head should be his and as for the other I don't know who he was, some cat whi seemed to be working for the unicorn.

They came around, demanding to know where my brother was and caught me off guard, Calypso had snuck in the back as I was tending to the front door of which we had the cat pretending to be injured. I was tied up by knife point and wouldn't say where my brother was and they decided that they wiuld use my phone from my pocket to call Nova in to make me choose between my brother or my son.

There was also a new addition to their team, an angel, he was allowed to stay here when all the while he was working as a spy for the unicorn, having us believe that he needed a place to stay. As my son knelt on the floor the angel pulled the poison out and tried to do the whole talk or your son gets it thing which, in the end, after Muraki came in, did the smart thing or silently speed dialing drake before placing in the phone down and drake came to save the day but not before Muraki had told them they would never get what they were looking for in which Calypso told the angel to administer the poison.

Drake kicked them out, having just arrived and now we have this" he said gesturing back to his son "I am so sorry Acuzio, I never meant to put him in harms way, I never meant to have things go so terribly wrong, I..." Ly started crying again, this was his son and he pretty much poisoned him, this wasn't even worst father of the year, poisoning your own son goes beyond that.

"And no matter how much we tell Ly that it wasn't his fault he won't listen to us" Kuri said, walking in and placing a tray on the bedside table that had tea and scones with jam and cream on them "just In case you two want something to eat" he said as he lent over and kissed Lys head. "The potion will take an hour to brew, Absinthe said that Nova will get a little worse in that time but he won't be leaving us" he said as he looked to the unicorn "this is a potion to stabilize the poison in Novas body, it isn't a cure but it will stop him from getting worse until Absinthe can get here."

Ly took a deep breath and let it out "you take my place Acuzio, I am going down to have a smoke and grab something harder than tea" he said, kissing his sons head "sweetheart, your mates here, he will take over for a bit" he said, climbing out of the bed and looked at Acuzio. "Do you mind?" Stupid thing to ask as he was sure he wouldn't mind being left alone for a few moments with his mate, but he may as well just check.

Nova opened his eyes weakly and coughed "hi Nova" he said before breathing a little heavily before trying to get up so he didn't have to be so rude and lay down, he hadn't seen his mate in ages and missed him, the least he can do is sit up and speak to him.

"Under NO circumstances is he allowed to sit up, it makes him worse" Ly said, helping his son go back to laying down "after a few minutes sitting he starts coughing terribly so just make him stay laying down" he said as he sighed and got up, looking at the bed where his son lay, not wishing to leave him just yet but at the same time he did need a break not that it made him move faster out the door.

((The only bad thing about phone use is that auto correct is a b***h and then trying to edit/correct it etc is a b***h even more so but still, yay for interwevbs on phone regardless. XD))




Ly hug the Unicorn back, pleased and thankful he was here "I know, I just thought, no matter what happens in this house, my children, at least, would be safe, the idiots would go through me and not anyone else that matters didn't concern, I guess I was a little too hopeful on that" he said as he sighed and looked at Kuri "thank you and yes, catching up will be great, maybe telling me about your lovely family could be fun, it would be nice to see who my sons in-laws are" he smiled at the unicorn, joking of course "I may just pop down to the store, get my favorite Whiskey I am all out of and a bottle of Tequila, if you want anything just ask Kuri, he will be happy to get it for you" he said as he smiled at his son. "Back soon sweetheart, I will pick you up that video game you have been wanting but 'forgetting' to buy in hopes I will get it for you" he said, knowing that he would do anything if it meant just spending money on him, his mate and his kids but then what are parents for if they can't gift their adult children every once in a while?

"So that is what it takes, Dad? I have to get poisoned before you decided to buy me the game I have hinted at wanting for ages?" He jokingly and weakly said coughing a little.

Ly smiled at his sick son and looked at Acuzio "and you thought my sense of humor, at times, was in bad taste, now you see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" he said as he grabbed his keys from next to the tray of tea and scones and looked to Kuri "will you take care of whatever Acuzio needs? I know you don't like being actually being acknowledged like the hired help around here when you love to keep house anyway but please, just this once, will you do what Acuzio asks?"

Kuri wrapped his arms around the wolf and hugged him tight "of course I will, you just be careful and come back soon alright?" The rabbit said as he kissed the wolfs cheek and let him go.

"Thank you, Kuri" he said as he looked to the Uni "is there anything I can get you?" He asked, opening up his side table draw and grabbed his wallet.

Nova reached out and gingerly placed a hand on top of his mates, deciding, before he answered, he would let his father go, he knew Uncle Kuri would sit down and knit or something and thus they could have a some what privet conversation, Kuri wouldn't tell even if he was listening in but he knew the rabbit could get pretty involved in whatever he chooses to do so they could have privacy but what he wanted to tell his mate wasn't something he wanted his father to hear and Nova knew that technically he was old enough to make his own choices in life but he didn't really know how to tell your father what he wanted to tell his mate so to buy himself more time this wasn't the situation or circumstance that was right to tell his father what he was going to be telling his mate.

((Ooo I want one of them! I be too poor right now though, silly adult debt. XD))

"You are just saying that" he said as he nodded "alright, thank you and be back soon" he said as he left and let Kuri stay with the others.

Once his father had left he sighed "what haven't I done? Not exactly proud but it pays the bills" he said as he moved a little closer to his mate "long story short, I am a Play Girl model, girls love naked guys and whilst I am not exactly proud of it I just didn't want to take Uncle Muraki's money all the time and I had been out of work for so long that I was desperate and the bills were piling up and the money is good, I know it is degrading and it isn't the greatest of jobs and yes, I would rather some things be kept for you and you alone but my money goes towards the kids and our home, I couldn't not be out of a job...even though technically the kids can now look after themselves but still, the money, it is too good a reason to not do this" he said weakly and tiredly and even coughed a bit afterward but still, better to say it all now then beat around the bush.
