If there is an expiration, users will receive a good amount of information about them. In the case of the Throwback Event, these achievements are permanent additions to the site.

The drop rates for alchemy probably won't be tweaked in Daily Chance, but it could be possible for certain items to be available in more avenues.

It was not a glitch, it was a mistake on P.U.Gs side to not inform Gaians belonging to Verge that he was removing them. If you are still interested in purchasing them, feel free to file a billing ticket at our Help Center and they will make the transaction on P.U.Gs behalf.

Due to avatar display width limitations this is not presently possible without significantly affecting avatar display areas like the forums.

We will be creating a tagging system in the future that will allow Gaian's to select tags for items.

I would like to request a change so that we see peoples Avatars when gifting and sending a PM.
We already have them with Trades and this is very handy.
Sometimes I am copying a username, spelling from memory or going off information from another user.
Being able to see the Avatar of the person before I send them anything would be a great way to add that extra bit of confirmation. (in my mind)

We actually have a number of different gold sinks that are coming out, and will continue to come out, to help remove gold from the economy. You can see some of these gold sinks in the form of Flynn's Plunder, Loyal's and gold shop updates, and gold sink events.

I think this was suggested before (with a picture example to go with it) but I don't think it got an answer. For the Colored Caches (Ruby, Amethyst, etc.), would it be possible to enable obtaining multiples of a single item via an additional window?
Elaboration: Say you have 20 Ruby Caches, and you need a bunch of Moonbeams. You open the Ruby Cache, select Moonbeam, and then a new window pops up asking how many you want. You enter 15, and it grants you 15 Moonbeam while removing the equivalent number of Ruby Caches from your inventory, leaving you with 5. After exiting the window the page refreshes like normal to update. Naturally you can't ask for more of an item than you have Caches for, and it has to be one type of item at a time.

This is an interesting idea. Currently though it would not be very feasible. sad

I would like to politely request that 'Un-released' items not be the subject of threads or shared. Many of them are un-released for a specific reason- either the item is incomplete, broken, or still subject to edits, and building up expectations of something that may never be available. If anyone discovers these unreleased items they can PM any staff member who will take them out of public viewing. Thank you for asking! 3nodding

Demure Seraphic Fox and Silently Vigilant Hound were removed without notice from the Verge a while ago -- few people have been able to purchase it because before removal, they suffered a glitch where they could not be purchased at all.
Was this a mistake, or will they be put back into Verge at some point?

Demure Seraphic Fox and Silently Vigilant Hound were supposed to come out of the store after 4 days- they remained in due to a scheduler glitch but couldn't be purchased. They eventually had to be pulled manually. If any Gaians want to purchase these items, please file a Billing Ticket and our CS team will handle the transaction personally.

I made the item "Tryxachu" I have asked for this to be fixed before and I was told it would be fixed and it has not been fixed.
Tryxachu displays a moving glitch when in Towns/Rally/VH etc.
When in movement as the "I am Tryxachu" pose he disappears can I please have this fixed so I can be a happy and smooth Tryxachu in the virtual realms of Gaia Online? Thank You!

The names of the 'folders' in the Aquarium Inventory had some in invisible ink applied to them so that users have to fumble around blindly to find the link they want (at least on Chrome and IE - IE it happened over a year ago, Chrome maybe a month or so?). Could somebody maybe go in and rewrite them in a slightly more visible colour perhaps, please and thank you?

We can take a look at this but, it may be difficult due to the age of the code. It's reaching a point where it may need to entirely be rewritten. The last update we made to it, took a great deal of time due to just trying to track down a version of Flash and required libraries that could even compile the old code, then additional time updating some of it to no longer use deprecated commands. Now that more time has passed it won't be much easier. :/

We don't have any plans for an alternate route at this point, but if we did add one it would be just as painful and difficult to obtain.

Access to Loyal's was changed about a month ago. Now each day that you log in (or check your My Gaia page, if you're set to "Remember Me") you receive a token. You need 30 tokens to gain access to Loyal's. What might be happening is that when your 30 days of access are up, he removes you from the shop, checks your token count, then readds you. He may be taking too many tokens then normal though, which would result in you being removed from the shop again. We'll confirm if this is actually the case and then address it.

We didn't make any Paw exclusives- we used the items that would have been in bundles and put them into the RIG itself to make it extra voluminous. 3nodding

I've noticed that when I search for items by some generic colors (either in my customizer,
the Avatar Builder, or in the marketplace) a majority of the flower bouquets show up, and
I get a message that says "Maybe you should narrow your search". Is there anyway
you could add a minus (exception) to the tagging system, so when we search for something
specific we could narrow down the search criteria for what we don't want?

Yes they can be! Keep a look out in the future.
The items that are re-released in this way will have to have been out a minimum of 6 months, so there is that. Platinum ticket items are not re-released (unless of course it is a rainbow ticket recolor of a platinum.)

It is correct that AutoCash, as provided by Ultimate Pay, has been discounted. We are researching options for replacing it with PayPal.

It was confirmed a few weeks ago in a prior ATS that there will definitely be a Summer Event this year. Is there a timeframe yet as to when it will take place? Will it be a long one starting early and ending just before school starts, like What the Fluff or Frontier Skies? We actually have a Summer Event that will be taking place all summer long, it will hopefully be coming within the next 2 weeks. We also have some smaller events throughout July and a larger one in August.

We are currently re-making it using all of the old assets so that the change should be mostly un-noticeable to Gaians. The captcha is entirely different and we are hoping to base it off of Gaia internally. Progress is about 70% complete, however it has been delayed somewhat by Gaia's Summer Event. More updates will be coming. Our plan is to have the original gameplay restored and to create more areas/rods and fish after its been released.

Yes, we will have more permanent items in Loyals. We've recently added some Troll ear/tail combinations and we will be providing more lower cost releases as well.

While this years summer event was not specifically designed for mobile, it will be entirely hosted on it's own page in HTML 5. So if you have a phone with a browser that support html 5 then it should work just fine. For a listing of what is supported on mobile browsers, check out this site.

I hope y'all add another way to GC for those that can't use Debit/Credit Cards or Paypal.
Users can also use their mobile phone (via Boku) to make payments, along with using gift cards to redeem them to PayGarden. They can also use Rixty. So a number of different options if they can't use PayPal or debit/credit cards.

There is not "hard limit." It varies depending on the type of item data that needs to get loaded. a fairly safe range however is about 10k - 13k items. This is about the max before your inventory will whitescreen due to PHP running out of memory. However I have run into people with over 20k items who's inventory loaded just fine. ...so... *shrug*

Out of curiosity, why do you keep re-releasing the Talkers & Pick Your Noses? Why not re-release a larger variety of items that are past their "6 months before we can rerelease them" items?
(I'm not complaining because I spent Cash during the first re-release of the items, but we're on the 3rd CS rerelease already o3o)

They're just a frequently requested item. We are planning on releasing more varieties of items into Rococo that fit that description soon. heart

Sometimes Gaia does not "remember me" when I try to go onto Gaia first thing in the day. I will have to re-log in and click the check box. It happens at very random times.... I could be logged in every day for a few weeks or maybe even only a few days and it will happen.
Can this be fixed?

What exactly is the progress of the Chat feature? Is it still in beta or...? I can't remember any announcements or alerts about its status. ninja
I think putting it on the 'Quick Links' bar at the bottom of the screen like how Meebo worked would be awesome. You can instantly see who's on and send them a chat IM instantly; LOVED that back in the day. whee
