➣ Ello lovies. As you may have guessed, my name is Morrigan. Yes, the Morrigan from King Arthur, although it confounds me my name has been made in error. To be frank, I decided to join out of mere curiosity.
I fancy myself a teacher of sorts, as that is what being a Druid back in the days of old truly meant, and as such the guild invitation I received intrigued me greatly. I have never been in a guild such as this where it seems to be the whole guild is a giant Role Play, but I am the adventurous sort.
I do not spend much time in the guilds because of who I am by nature. I must mingle with the masses and educate those I can and learn from those who know more than I. That is why I tend to spend hours upon end in the Barton Forums, searching with no luck for an RP in need of my knowledge. If the talent is missing, I do not waste my time... But if there is a genuine interest to learn, and talent to go with it, I will invest time into that person. Several of my friends have advanced their skills as RPers thanks to my aid, and that of my mentors who no longer play within our world.
You see, my mind has always been at that point for such an adventure as roleplays, but my ability to place word to thought in an interactive fashion was missing. My greatest mentor helped me on my path to becoming the literate roleplayer I am today, and that is in part also why I desire to help those in need, those who need that extra little push to go from okay to greatness.

Let me first say, I am truly honored you would join our guild. I myself am but a beginner to the world of role play other than doing it the lazy literature way. So I hope to learn a lot from you and watching you work your teaching magic with others. One of the reasons I started this guild was to have a place people could come to learn without being overwhelmed by the main forums. Out there I saw so many people's threads and everything was so much more advanced than what I could do it really did overwhelm me and scare me off from role playing. So i decided to make a place where anything was possible and yet felt more like a home. Hopefully there are people who can take a great deal from this guild and apply it to not only to their writing but everyday lives. I really appreciate you taking an interest and being here.

➣ Aye, I too noticed that it seems within the world of Barton there is a significant lack of gray. Either you are literate, or you are not. When first I joined this community, it was a world of helpers and educators. I joined several roleplays which were quite obviously beyond my level at the time, but with the aid of those in the RP, I was able to overcome my short comings.
That is why to this day I do not put a limit on my roleplays that I create. If one is able to create at least one paragraph, regardless of grammar, I am willing to work with that person. I shall never forget the first person I mentored, and he and I are still good friends from it. He spoke in complete sentences, though they lacked punctuation and lacked extensive vocabulary. It took perhaps a month, but soon he was ready to venture out to more extensive RPs.
I am honored that I have been asked to join this guild. I do not know how I was discovered, but when I saw that your goal is all that I have ever strove for on Gaia, I knew I could not refuse the invitation. I thank you sincerely for having me aboard, midear.

Sorry for the late reply. Your posts are so beautifully done. That is something I will definitely have to learn, how to pretty up a post. Do you often stay in character even when you aren't posting in a role play? I'm wondering this because I'm curious if it helps you understand your character more.

➣ Ah, no worries my dear. I understand given your responsibilities you may not have time to give to me.
As for prettying up a post, I must say it is nothing more than an embellishment to be more appealing to the eye of the reader. Truth be known, I detest taking the time to make outlines for every character I create, as to me it does no service to the post itself. However, I have found that my audience is more receptive to a decorative post as opposed to a plain text post, therefore I take the time to create it. If you like, I can give you some basic pointers on how to create an outline, such as additional codes that can be used to give some flare.
An interesting question as to my character, one that there is no easy answer for. Here I have submitted to you my character, who I am. In RPs, very rarely do I submit a character that embodies me, as I tend to have several. Instead, each character I create is usually a fraction of who I am, and often times tend to overlap. There is truly nothing to understand about my character here, because the character is what I would be. I was named for the Druid of Justice Morrigan, High Priestess to her order, and as such feel that I embody her.

I definitely will take you up on that offer at another time. Because I believe like you the audience seems to like the flare in with the dialogue. Even if it may be tedious to deal with. Thank you for your answer to my question as well, it was quite insightful. I value your opinion as a guild member, so if you have any suggestions on making this a better guild please don't hesitate to post it in the main forum.

DSDragon star NOt yet . Though I'm not on a lot on gaming now a days cuz ZOMG isn't here anymore . Plus I'm not here anyway cuz I read a lot . Right now I'm reading Fairy Tail . It's okay if your not here a lot, but if you do join an RP remember to post as often as the TM asks. Fairy Tail,,,,,,I'm reading that too. Only as far as the twin dragon fight though so no spoilers please. Actually it's one of my top 3 favs.
