My suggestion is to either give this to one of you or just close the guild down and walk away.

Well this is one of the few guilds I am active in so I would hate to see it go.
The only thing I can think of to keep it going would be to possible introduce a kind of story line. Not sure the exact way you want the guild to go, so its just my two cents.

Well there is the Event Horizon cross over event, spans across multiple guilds around gaia, but its till some time until its ready for action, this Guild was ment to be the ground zero of the situation.

Perhaps we could condense It and maybye introduce a new threat that required unity of the magik guilds to fix. I was thinking maybye the deamon in the dark heart christal awakens . And it doesn't care about who suffers its wrath?

I'm planning on making that idea a reality. There will be a time jump to introduce the new concepts and the "Evil" that is to come. I'm adding a DnD like system to get it as a fair battle system, as in gaia it is easy to just say "I automatically hit to kill the creature."
Any input you guys can give will be greatly appreciated as well.
