So far after just a few games she was little under a third the way to her end goal of three hundred. She could almost taste the Bulm mushroom. When Luponny fished the last game and haned Sonoko the last of the tickets shed won she promptly picked Togepi up and cradled the infant pokemon as if it was her own child. Sonoko hadn't really expected such a motherly reaction but it was nice to see. Tiny togepi snuggled into its new surrogate mother. Snow thought that perhaps it was best to officially add Togepi to the team.

This time, when they got off the Seagallop, it only took two minutes to recover: Huey thought of it as an improvement as he took in deep breaths and Tybalt rubbed his back in circular motions. After that necessity was completed he lifted his head up and looked around, now that he could see more than the ground he could begin to appreciate the area. There were a lot more children about, he realized, as he started walking and every now came across the sight of children his age and younger running around with pokemon. It certainly made for a pleasant, if not loud, setting.
Wandering around eventually led the boy towards a Darts game and after a few minutes of thought decided to try his hand at it. Huey took a firm grip of the wheel, took a breath, yanked, released and then stepped back to watch the Wheel of Fortune spin round and round before stopping at six. The blonde nodded, pleased, and collected the six tickets his efforts had won him. "That's a bit better... I guess!"

Next up on his list was the Ring Toss game-- though it wasn't so much of his next game, so much as the first game his gaze settled on-- and Huey found himself pleasantly surprised at his skill. The first ring tossed fell across the bottle's neck perfectly and spun around three times before it landed on the base with a soft clink. The second ring... didn't even get close to the target and fell to the ground seconds after its launch; its heavy thnk to the ground was accompanied by a groan from Huey. The third and final ring was thrown only after a bit of 'luck' was sprinkled across its smooth surface and the boy patted the section of his backpack where his lucky penny was stored. Whether or not this actually helped him didn't matter, what did matter, however, was that the ring made it onto the bottle and the boy was able to add five more tickets to his meager pile.

Huey patted his pocket twice and with his palm was able to feel the outline of his tickets. If he remembered correctly he had fifteen now, which wasn't too shabby of a number considering he'd only played three games. Just like his attempt at his first games, Darts, it was a number that wasn't the worst but wasn't the best either. He'd have to try harder! Of course, this was easier said than done and when he walked out of the arcade he gave a light sigh, looking down towards the three tickets he'd managed to win from the virtual racing game he'd played while inside. "I guess I'm not very good at video games." he surmised as he slipped the pieces of paper into his pocket. "...Or driving."

Still a little down about his low score in the arcade Huey approached the fishing games with a frown still gracing his lips. "Which one will you try?" he jumped, startled, as Tybalt spoke into his mind, his thoughts still on the arcade. "Oh, uhm..." he looked around the variety of games: different targets but the same principles and objective: get something out of the water. "That one." he pointed out the sign that read 'Golden Magikarp' the transition metal in the game's name having grabbed his attention. He approached the small area of water and peered down into it, able to see a rather shiny Magikarp sitting at the bottom. "Oh wow, is that real gold?" he asked the attendant. The man cut his bored glance from the boy in front of him down to the water before nodding and gesturing for him to take one of the paper nets. "Uh, alright then!" he began to reach for the net before he faltered and looked back down to the gold. There was no way he'd be able to even lift something like that out on his own, let alone fish it out, which meant he'd need to tag someone in.
"Dutch!" he called the pokemon's name as he released the Granbull and began to grin widely once he'd appeared. He blinked slowly in the light and once he'd adjusted to it gave a yawn and cracked his back. "Hey, wanna try and win a game for me?" the question caught his attention and after a few more stretches Dutch nodded. "Great! It's real easy, all you have to do is scoop out that golden Magikarp out the bottom of that water with this here net!" with a wide grin Huey presented the small net to the pokemon who took it with a dubious look. He looked to Tybalt for an explanation but only received a shrug before the pokemon sidestepped to hide behind Huey, wary of the new member.
Dutch gave a shrug of his own, deciding that neither the objective of the game or Tybalt's actions were worth questioning, and turned to look at the game. He bent down, hand curled around the handle of the net, dunked it in and extended his arm as far as it could go. There was a moment where the pokemon could only feel water before suddenly he felt something solid and pushed the net a bit further, nudging it underneath the heavy object and pulled. Huey watched, with wide eyes, as Dutch struggled to pull up the item and held his breath before finally, with a splash, he pulled out a soggy net, paper limp and dissolving, and the golden Magikarp.
"You did it!" he cheered and after praising the Granbull turned a beamish smile towards the attendant who still hadn't managed to hide his shock yet. "What do I win? Or.. well, what does Dutch win?" the man cleared his throat, managing to regain his composure enough to begin doling out a large sum of tickets, 1000 to be exact. Only a small amount was able to be put away into his pockets, the rest was folded up and placed into his bookbag, with the help of Dutch and Tybalt. By the time Huey walked away from the game he was all smiles, and just a tad hungry. "Let's go get something to eat!" he turned to Dutch. "You can stay out a little with us, you deserve a treat."

Once snacks were obtained the trio found a bench to sit at, giving them a chance to relax and people watch. Huey munched on a bag of popcorn and hummed happily to himself, still enwrapped in the afterglow of Dutch's win. One thousand tickets was nothing to sneeze at-- though he never quite understood that idiom, why were you sneezing and not covering your nose?-- and opened him up to a quite a few items, at least he assumed so and assuming so only made him to begin to think of the monetary value of a few slips of paper until two minutes in he found his attention being drawn to his pokemon, who were in the midst of an awkward conversation-- or at least, awkward on Tybalt's end; he wasn't used to communicating with other pokemon.
"Alright you two." Huey stood to his feet as he chewed the last kernel, balling up his paper to eventually chuck into the nearest trash can. "Let's play a few more games before we go to another island." both Dutch and Tybalt nodded, finishing up their snacks before hopping back down to the ground.

They tried the Fortune Wheel first, with no other reason than they came across that game first. This time Tybalt gave it a try, though after the wheel stopped spinning it was safe to say that luck wasn't on their side. Huey collected the two tickets without complaint before patting Tybalt's head. "We can always try again later." he reassured him.
