 Having decided to sleep in she lost all track of time and by the time she starts to wake up she has no real idea where she is. Then again, she never really knows where she is or where she is going as long as she enjoys getting there. Afterwards she finds someplace to sleep for the night and then wakes early to pick a new path to find out where that leads and what she might find when she gets there. Of course she decides when she got someplace when ever she's too tired to walk any further she slides down to the ground and just catches her breath. Of course being as tired as she is she normally drifts off to sleep, so she often stays in the same area for a while to see everything that she can see before she moves on. After getting ready for the day she starts walking around to try finding something interesting to do today.

 Nova was taking a leisure stroll along the path way and tilted her head as she saw a small kit wandering around. She wondered how a kit so young would be out on her own without any company. She walked over to the young kit and peered down at her curiously. She seemed perfectly comfortable where she was. She looked around to see if she had company, and it didn't seem like it. She sat down at a good distance to make sure no harm came to the young one.

While walking she thinks she hears something so she first looks around to see if she can see anyone. Then she starts heading in the direction that the noise came from which was a near by tree. Looking up to finds some birds which only interest her to a point so when she thinks she sees something and walks over to investigate. Only to find that the brush has both berries and thorns, even lightly touching the one had caused some pain, though not enough. The only thing that had happened what she became startled and cried out a bit before finding a much better way to get the berries. By holding the one branch with one back paw and another with her other back paw she could reach up and grabs a few berries because so far her plan is working.

Nova curious to find out what was going on she wandered over and watched the young one attempt to reach for berries "Do you need some help?", You could hurt yourself if you did that" she told the young one. She hadn't seen very many youngsters around, and it was a nice change from what she typically saw around which were mostly adults. She was still a little unsure about her being out here on her own without company. But, then again if she worried too much she would probably annoy the youngster.

Startled by her voice she moves her back left paw just to have the thorny branch slap against her face causing her to cry out yet again. She shakes it off then looks over at her smiling, "Well, I was doing fine till now, though some help would be very nice right about now. And don't worry too much about me, for some reason the small thorns don't seem to bother me. Though still, after a while they can become very bothersome and I do like my blood being inside of me." Then she blushes a bit, "Did I hurt myself? I can't see if I'm bleeding her not." Looking at the bush and frowning a bit while still blushing, "You sure were right about my getting hurt if I did that and I sure did." She quickly smiles at the other, "I'm Amarante by the way." Holding the last berry she had picked up to the other she smiles brightly, "Want it? It's the only one I have left from my failed attempt at berry picking. Though, with your help I'm sure to get much more that we could share."

Novalite lightly gasped as the branch slapped her in the face. "I am sorry..I startled you, that was not my intention" she told her lightly. She looked her over "That looked like it hurt, but you seem to be alright" she put in. "Nice to meet you Amarante, My name is Novalite or Nova for short" she said introducing herself. "ah..no..I"m okay..you can have it, since you worked hard for it. Let's try picking berries again, and I'll help you" she answered.

Still smiling brightly, "Of course it wasn't your intention, I just startle a bit easier after I just woke up, though there are a few other reasons that I startle a bit easier. So I forgive you, just to clear all of that up." After being looked over she tilts her head a bit then replies, "It felt like it should have hurt a lot more then it actually did so I'm glad that it didn't, and I'm also glad I appear to be alright that's always a good thing." Un-tilting her still tiled head she smiles still, "Nice to meet you Nova, Novalite is a very nice name even if you are the first one I have meet." Bringing her paw closer she eats the berry, when she finishes eating the berry she replies, "Thank you for taking the time to help me with this. If you can take and hold this branch right here and then hold this other branch here. That way you should be safe from accidentally grabbing a torn. I'll get a leaf and gather them onto the leaf so we have a good amount to eat now and then we can have some for later? If you want to stick around a bit longer, I'm sure we can talk a bit?" Looking up and into her eyes she wonders how long Nova will stick around.

Novalite smiled lightly "That is understandable and thank you for forgiving me" she said "You don't get that very often, but its nice to have someone who is grateful" she answered thoughtfully. Amarante, was a very outgoing and social little one and it was a refreshing sight. "Oh thank you, I love it too." she said politely. She nodded her head as Amarante gave her instructions she took the branch tentatively with a paw and the other branch with her other paw "Okay. That sounds like a good idea to me" she said. She herself wasn't even sure how long she was going to stick around either.

Giving a nod of her head, "Your welcome, and oh, I'm always grateful for the help others offer/give to me." While Nova was thinking she keeps smiling happy to get help from her, "Your welcome some more." After Nova grabbed the branches she coos, "Thanks some more, I'll get that leaf and then I'll start collecting the berries for us to share." Turning to the right she doesn't have to walk too far away to get a nice sized leaf which she pulls back over to the bush and places on the perfect spot. Then she starts to gather the berries up while asking, "Do you often help strangers with things they are doing or is it just the young ones like me? I mean without your help it'd be a lot harder for me because anything could have startled me. Even the birds in the trees could have startled me into letting go of that branch, or worse, both of the branches. Now that would have been a good deal of pain for me seeing as the one branch wasn't bad, so two would have been enough to keep me from trying once more to gather the tasty berries." While talking she makes sure that she doesn't accidentally touch any of the thorns close to the berries.
