Hello! I'm looking for anyone interested in joining a Legend of Zelda RP. It can be a 1 x 1 or group depending on how many people seem interested!

I'm open for any and all suggestions so send them my way.

My plot idea:

Two centuries have passed since the Hero of Time slayed Ganondorf and returned Hyrule to its former glory. The royal family led its people with justice and wisdom into a period of prosperity which lifted the people's spirits. Crime was low, the economy was thriving, food was plentiful, and the kingdom seemed to be forever progressing.

However, a new threat appeared, one that snaked through the golden age of Hyrule to spread evil and resentment. A band of magicians whose power rivaled that of the sages sought to resurrect their Dark Lord. They secretly caused plagues and destroyed crops, sending the once prosperous kingdom into a anxious and angry fit. A rebellion was headed to overthrow the current royal family in favor of someone new, someone who had power. Rebels broke down the barriers of the castle and sought after the royal family, wanting to see the blood line finished once and for all.

But they weren't so lucky.

The presiding king and queen had a plan. They would send their only child away, a daughter, in hopes that she would survive and rescue Hyrule from its mislead ways. The infant was saved with the aid of a modest farming couple who took her in as their own. The king and queen perished, the gruesome consequence of hate and revenge.

The princess grew on the small farm without the slightest idea of who she really was. To her, she was just an ordinary farm girl with dreams and wishes and an eagerness to see the world. But, her family kept her remarkably sheltered, ushering her away to do chores whenever a stranger happened to pass by the farm. She was never allowed to wonder when running errands, and she must never stay out when the sun goes down. Her parents claimed they were worried that a band of the rebels would come through and take her like they had with some of the other girls in the village.

As for our hero...

Born dirt poor and with a courageous heart, Link had always done what he could to help those in need. He'd give up whatever food he found to a younger child looking hungry, or stand up to a drunken step father when his mother was in danger. That's why when the rebellion swept through his small forest village, he felt a strong call to join. He would steal from the rich and give to the poor. He could earn money to buy his mother a decent home away from the slums of Castle Town. Joining with a valiant and young heart, Link quickly rose through the rebellion's ranks. As the years progressed, he obtained a leadership role for a small band of talented rebels. They became infamous with success, and their legend spread across Hyrule and its surrounding provinces.

This small band of rebels served the current ruler of Hyrule (the bad guy, in case you needed that clarified) and completed his tasks so well that they were the first to be called in times of need. When the boss ordered for them to start raising taxes, they did. When the boss ordered them to start collecting taxes harshly, they did. When the boss ordered them to collect young girls from unsaying families, they did. They wholeheartedly believed they were following a just cause. Link put his heart into it, and didn't stop to question his orders.

That is until he was told to collect from a farming family. They didn't have the correct sum of rupees ready to pay, so by law they were to take their eldest child. They raided the family farm and placing a bag over her head, threw the eldest of the family's children into the back of a wagon. Once they were on their way to dispense with the girl at the castle as they usually did, Link pulled the bag off the girl's head and received a disturbing shock. He recognized her. No, some part of him recognized her. Some deeper and older part knew this face.

It's kind of rough (and unnecessarily long) but i thought I would share and see who would be interested!

As far as roles go, I would prefer to take the unknowing Zelda.
Open roles would be anywhere from Link to the resurrected Ganondorf to Link's band of rebels to Tingle. It's all up to you guys! Send me a message with any questions or comments!
