Roll a Twelve: Graveyard Field: In this particular field selection, the stadium ceiling is shut tight, covering the entire inner area of the stadium in a veil of pure darkness. The ordinary dirt field is swapped out for a field full of grave stones scattered across the lifeless soil. Near the northern end of the battle field, a single withered tree stands hunched over as though in constant mourning of those who rest for eternity here. A dense fog weaves in and out of the headstones and hinders vision. The fog itself seems damp and heavy, like the tears of the living mourning for the lost. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GHOST and DARK type attacks.

Lyle stepped into the stadium and shivered. This particular stadium was gloomy, but it could work well for Spinel. The little pokemon was perched on his hat as usual, practically bounding in his eagerness to battle. Lyle made his way to his trainer box, mentally reviewing tips for fighting in multi-pokemon battles.

Zinnia stepped up to the podium with all three of her pokemon. However, this time Shadow Mew would only be watching.
"Do your best, boys!" she said brightly to Zyk and Zebo. The pair eyed one another, each determined to show off to their trainer.

Lyle tossed out his first pokeball as his opponent did the same, and Jade appeared on the field. He and his pokemon were both immediately assaulted by a harsh screech, making them both wince. Well, they could always do something similar. "Soften him up with Rock Smash!" he told Jade.
His pokemon leaped into the air and zipped towards the Crobat, making a sharp turn right in front of him to strike whip-like at him with her tail.

Zyk tore through the air toward Jade, pausing only to dodge Jade's Rock Smash attack. He turned quickly, aiming to clip the dragon with the edge of his wing as he raced back to Zinnia while Zebo took his place on the field.

Lyle was glad the attack had worked, though he wasn't sure how long it would last. He decided to give Jade a chance to rest a bit. "Jade, U-turn!"
His Flygon zipped towards her opponent, spun quickly to slap at him with her tail, then shot back towards Lyle. Spinel stood up and tensed as she approached, and as she reached the trainer box, the Sableye bounded off Lyle's head and onto the field.

Well, they could just keep going back and forth like this. Time to try and put a stop to it. "Ice Punch!" Lyle ordered. Spinel scampered towards Zyk, jumped up onto a gravestone for more high, and leaped off that towards the Crobat. While in the air his fist began glowing pale blue, and he drew it back to strike at his opponent.
