Something is seriously wrong.

Today was supposed to be normal. I was supposed to go on a date.

It didn't happen, and instead I'm holed up in the mall, praying that the crude barrier holds long enough for me to get my supplies and get the hell out of here.

All I know is this; I was walking to class when these...things burst out of a basement - they aren't zombies or humans...I have no idea. But anyway, they just started randomly attacking people. Just...it was so scary man, I can't even remember what exactly went down.

I've taken a handgun, shotgun, some ammo, about a weeks worth of canned food, a canteen, and some matches from the various stores. A large bag to hold it all, but not too big to carry.

I'm leaving this note in case anybody else comes in here for supplies. I'll be at the West Lake Radio Station, five miles northeast from here. If you decide to come, knock on the door once, pause, then twice in quick succession.

Bring what you can - we're going to need it.

((Hello everybody. Looking for anywhere from 1 - 3 more people to join me on this survival quest. Advanced literacy is appreciated, though not required. No Mary Sue or Gary Stu type characters - that's plain ol' boring. Instead, try something like this:

Name: Theo Lorrens

Age: 19

Occupation: Student

Height: 5' 11"

Weight: 133 lbs

Build: Slim

Hair length: mid back (he's a fan of glam metal of 80's infamy)

Hair color: blonde, with red streaks.

Clothing choices: Often seen in plaid button up shirts with the top two buttons undone, sleeves rolled to his elbows. Faded blue jeans and black converse shoes round out his non-chalant demeanor.

Personality: Somewhat of an introvert, but cares about the few friends he has. Often doubts himself, but has his positive moments - when the situation calls for it. Not very social, preferring books over parties, video games over sleep, and so on.

Now you don't have to go into your characters likes and dislikes, as I prefer character development to occur in story - where's the fun in knowing all that beforehand?
