If we were to get a kickstart or an item grant, what type of item would you like to see? What do you feel would best represent our event?

I'm tempted to say something related to Rufus, but he's got a lot of items already and he just got a grant from the Flashback event and a couple new items in the Memorial Day sale. Something like a Rufus March could be interesting, if rather pose heavy.
I think this would be a good chance to touch on popular NPCs that haven't gotten a lot of love lately. I know zOMG fans were disappointed that no items in the entire month were related to the game and there was a thread requesting a Kamila grant in the feedback forums. Blaze was also briefly included in Valentines a few years back, but hasn't been seen outside the game since, to the best of my knowledge.
Gaia-tan and Gaia-kun might be good characters for items. They are site mascots in a way, and they rarely have items related to them, and most of the ones we do have are ungodly expensive.
Perhaps something related to conventions? There are already a number of badge items, so I feel that would be redundant. Perhaps you can think of something better. NPC cardboard standees?
If it was up to me, I'd just say all Leon items all the time, Leon Strut, Leon Pillow, Leon Companion, but I'm a selfish b*****d so let's hear what you might want to see.

I selfishly would like there to be a Goddess Gaia SDPlus. After all, we spent the throwback event getting her item. (Plus I'm ready to cosplay her during the event. :yatta).

I agree that a good item idea would be a Rufus March. He has such cute colors too, I think it'd go well with other items. We have a Diedrich March, so it makes sense anyhow.
Have we had any updated NPC companions in a while? Some uncommon companions would be GREAT, and maybe revamps of the older ones, too. As for what NPCs to have a new awesome companion, I have no idea. Maybe an item can be a collection of them?
adorabah suggested a really cute idea here in which we can cuddle NPC themed dolls. That'd be really cute and would do well, IMO.

I know a ton of people (or at least several vocal individuals) were disappointed in the lack of Johnny Gambino items in May's event, and he does really represent the site in many ways.

I would love a Rufus March only because he's one of original animals and he hasn't had his own march. After Diedrich, I would like a Rufus and Mr. Rufus March item.
I would love an item generator that would give us different dolls (of the past) and maybe some new NPC ones. Either filling in of ones we haven't seen yet, and ones we need. That's too lofty of a goal, I know...but it's at least NPC related.
