Sunny has had a pretty normal life thought slightly more pillaged then others. Her parents mainly worked over seas so she was often left alone growing up. Able to take care of herself but was rather lonely but she dealt with this empties thought her writing and books. Not having any more then one or two friends at a time Sunny had always been work driven. Her dream was to become a writer and she would do anything to make that happen and before she knew it her teenage years were far behind her. Closing in on her senior year of college Sunny is interning for a writing company in hopes of getting a job there when she graduates.

Alyss was always a wild one. Growing up with her twin sister Evelynn, the adventures never stopped. There was never a moment where they were bored. From playing barbies to beating up the mean boys at school. Nothing was beyond the wild ones. It was in middle school when Alyss began to realize she might be different from the other girls in her school.

She of course hid her new feelings, that she didn’t understand, completely from everyone...as best as she could. By the time she was a sophomore in highschool, her twin found out her secret, which at that point she had already discovered she was gay. How? Well like a butthole, she read her diary. The long talk that happened afterwards, only made them closer; a closeness that stuck with them all the way into college.

Now at college, Alyss and Evelynn were both very popular. The twins had joined a band just for something to do in their spare time, and because of them, it exploded in popularity-well at least at the local level. Alyss just wants to have fun in college and sort of let life take her for a little bit.

Dumm...Dee….Dumm. Alyss’ fingers began to thump against the wooden bench as her mind turned over her current lyrical dilemma. Usually the words flowed through her soft fingertips and into the absolute ink, like a river current; never stopping only slowing. However sometimes, the singer would stare at a blank page willing words to come about anything-loving, hating, fighting, drinking- and yet as she sits at her bench under the old oak tree her pleads would be unheard. Go figure, how could a higher power want to answer her prayers when her unbelief was the only thing spoken between her and the big G.O.D..She would simply sit staring as her ambivalent mind tossed and turn never getting comfy.


This was one such time, where the seed would just not take and grow. Alyss had been sitting there for an hour now, and already she had six rejected works. With a fresh page laid out before her, and her headphones in, listening to the instrumental her twin sister wrote and had their band recorded, she was only thumping the table with her bloody fingers. This was 2pence’s usual method of writing their new songs, and yet for some reason the lyrics were being stubborn and weren't-


Then Alyss’ ink stained fingers finally felt their inspiration, as if the rock cords finally galvanized them into action. With the creative juices flowing in harmony from brain to fingers, she wrote the chorus. With the hardest part written, the verses quickly followed. Her hand paused only to have an internal debate over a word or two in . After another hour and she did it! She used up almost all of her free hours in between the two classes she had today, but the singer didn’t mind. She had been trying to write that song for three days now.


So with a grin Alyss pushed down on the table to rise to her feet. After her feet was once more holding her weight she slid her arms into the air and stretched, lengthening the muscles and skin to its limit and releasing an almost purr sound. With her head arched back, she grinned and looked at the giant oak and its beautiful emerald leafs catching the sunlight. The rays painted her pretty face with a warm diluted light. Today was a good day indeed.

“Aly...Alyss, my beloved sister! Save me from boredom! Stop hiding from society you hermit!” Alyss let her arms fall to her sides as she spun around to face her lifelong partner in crime. “Evelynn, the pain in my a** since birth, how can I be of service. I finally did it you know!” Evelynn rushed over and snatched the paper out of her hand, and scanned over Alyss' work. “This is amazing you have to sing it for us when we rehearse next! In the mean time lets celebrate! I want to go to that new coffee spot.”

“I think you just want to cause trouble! You know what happens when we go in town, especially new places!” Evelynn's beautiful features twisted into an evil grin, a grin that was commonplace on Alyss' own face. The two of them really were a wild pair. Evelynn linked her arm with her twin's and began to walk briskly towards the dorms. “Lets get Jen shall we? Cause even more trouble.”

xxx”Winter is coming.”....’Ugh they really say that too much’. Caroline flicked a strand of her bright crimson hair out of her face, it was tickling her nose terribly. In these moments, where her hair threaten her sanity with violently sneezing, that she wished to just cut the bloody lot of it of, and enjoy enjoy a nice A-line cut. Of course, she would get crap ton of hate for such an act against her long locks. Every person within 500 miles would gasp and send her mental hate! ‘I mean it’s not like it won’t grow back!’

xxx“Go Joffrey is just an asshat!! Don’t they see he is going to kill off the entire bloody kingdom!!.... No..Noooooo not him don’t take his head you queen of hearts poser!!!” The redheaded pianist was on her feet yelling at her tv, as if she could change the fate of the characters! “You sick b*****d child you!!”And just when the show was finally captivating her attention entirely, her phone began to buzz and buzz; the vibrating device drawing finally drawing her attention away from her television screen.

xxxBy capricious alone her attention was drawn back behind her towards her bed. The mound of blankets and pillows was a tangled mess, and her phone was somewhere within. Caroline took the four steps to get back to her bed. The dorm room was rather small, but her best friend and her made it feel rather cozy. The redhead threw up her blankets and watched as her phone tumbled to the ground. With a bend and snap that would make Elle Woods proud, the phone was in her hand, and she quickly flicked her finger across the screen to see her messages.

xxxCaroline groaned looking down at her disheveled pajamas and pulled a strand of her hair which was tangled and in need of a shower today. Ugh, you are such a painnnnn, Game of Throne hates you!!!I’ll get dressed and wait for you in the room ^.^ She turned on her socked heel and turned off their Xbox crying a little inside. She should really get her Netflix addiction under control for sure! After a few minutes Caroline had her hair up in a messy bun and had skinny jeans and a loose top on. She touched up her make up from yesterday and made a kissy face at the mirror.

“I am almoooooossttttt….done!” Caroline said drawing out the word to stall for time as she pulled a strand out of her messy bun and twirled it around her finger until it curled by itself; then she simply let it fall out of her grasp and frame her face. Satisfied with her appearance, the Pianist spun on her heel and faced her best friend in the world. “Sunny..Sunny...Sunny” She said in her best mom voice as she walked up and gave her a hug.

“Coffee shops are the best place to be good natured well mannered partners. No douchebag in the right mind would find themselves inside a coffee shop. And here I am looking ehhhh close enough to beautifu]l. Of course, I would never date them, how could they hope to understand my need for practice practice practice!!!!.....And Netflix!” Caroline giggled and walked to her bed where she grabbed her phone and her wallet. “ Alright I’m ready!”

~Alyss & Evelynn~

The grin that was spreading rather quickly, infecting the rest of Alyss’ face with joy, was quite noticeable to her twin sister; who began to laugh. “ What?” Alyss asked in a lighthearted questioning tone. Evelynn’s grin was equally as large as she pushed the strap of her guitar case further onto her shoulder. “ You love it don’t you?” she said with a small bellous laugh that made the crowd that began to form around them try to get closer to them. “Who doesn’t love a crowd of fans forming around them!”

Alyss and Evelynn’s band was just starting to get big enough to warrant a crowd forming. It was a small town however, so the crowd was civil and more or less simply followed behind them whispering. Every once and a while there would be the “MARRY ME _____(Fill in one of the twins name’s)” followed quickly by the laughter of the rest of the crowd, but never had it been as bad as the really famous bands’ crowds. 2pence’s crowd is about 60 people at most, compared to their crowds of thousands.

Another forty feet down the sidewalk and the found themselves outside of the coffee shop. The rustic, by design of course, sign that read “The Spot” was, like the shop it announced, only three weeks old. Inside was the very stereotypical coffee shop look. The workers all fell within three categories: A) Surfer dude with short hair. B) Hippie dude with long hair pulled back into a ponytail. C) Hot blonde girls- a fact not unnoticed by Alyss.

“Hi, how can I….Omg Alyss and Evelynn!!” The cashier, category C of course, starred at the twins and had a mini freak out moment. Alyss and Evelynn giggled and both pushed a hand through their hair. “Sorry sorry what would you like today!” Alyss giggled and winked at the girl. “Oh you are fine love. I would like to get a Chai Tea please.” She gave another wink and turned to her sister. “ Oh I’ll have a skinny latte and two vanilla scones.” The Blonde quickly punched in the order and then smiled directly at Alyss. “It will be on the house for you two.” Alyss grinned and said thank you with quite a bit of flirt in her voice.

As they turned and walked towards the stairs, the two story shop had a small loft with couches and a coffee table. They quickly sat in the center of the biggest couch and waited for their coffee. It took only moments before they heard the bells begin to chime over and over again, as many people from the crowd walked into the coffee shop, and they began to laugh. Alyss grinned once more as she turned to her twin and nodded at her. Evelynn quickly pulled out her guitar and a pick.
