Nadia had bought a ticket for swan lake, the current performance being put on by the DCBC, and like Aegir had insisted, she looked for the curly mop of hair. She didn't see him right away, but the show had barely started when she took her seat.
And she watched intently. The princesses, The black swan, the white swan. They moved with such ease and flow. Swan lake was always a highlight of a ballerina's career, but the amount of emotion from the dancers? That was what made the play.
She didn't have to miss Aegir for long, as he came onto the stage. At first she couldn't tell, the stage was dark, but as the spotlight came on, haloing around the man, she knew.
And she watched, and she fell in love. His feet were light, but his movements were precise. His face so focused. She leaned forward in her seat as the play came to the climax, held her breath until the very end. When she finally exhaled, she sat back in her seat and smiled.
So this is what a company was like. She desperately wanted to join. As the play ended and people filed out, she waited till enough had left that she could go to the stage. Ballerina's were exiting, stripping themselves of their costumes.
"Excuse me..." she held the brochure out and read the name that was listed next to the prince. "May I speak to Colin?" She was then directed to where the curly mop of blonde hair was.
"Oh!" She blinked as she recognized him as Castor's friend from the pole dancing class. It all sort of clicked into place after that. "We've met!" She smiled at him. "I don't know if you remember me, I'm Nadia? I'm a friend of Castors." She specifically used the prince name of Elzo instead of his civilian name. No one else would know Castor except the two senshi. It was in her own way, confirming whether or not he was in fact, Aegir.

She might have recognized him from the hand-painted posters (some of which did feature him as the prince, but more of them featured the ballerina playing Odile and Odette, rather than Seigfried) but it was less likely than her seeing him walking around before hand. There was only one poster that showed off Colin's Prince, after all. Even if she hadn't come to eventually see Aegir's civilian self, she would be getting quite the show, because DCBC and the Destiny City Theatre put a great deal of effort into each one of their performances. One did not get a principle role - or indeed, even a role in the corps - without putting in a huge effort and being willing to live the role. This was one of the roles he'd spent his entire career working to perfect, and it showed. On stage, Colin was elegant and poised. His leaps seemed to defy gravity and each gesture keen to make the audience feel as he felt, from Act I to Act IV. Even upon the ending, where the Prince and Odette threw themselves into the lake and rose together to the heavens with their love having broken Rothbart's spell, everything got 100%, the danseur never held back once. And after? Christ almighty he was tired but exultant! The curtain calls came and went and he joined the ballerinas in stripping out of his costume's jacket and dunked his head in a bucket of cold water to cool off immediately. It was his bucket, dammit, he would dunk himself if he wanted! By the time Nadia came around, he had changed out of the full costume and was wearing street clothes: grey slacks with a black belt, black boots, a very soft white shirt with buttons down half of it and a black jacket waiting on his chair back to go over the lot of it. He was still removing the bulk of his stage makeup when Nadia arrived and he blinked at her in the mirror, eyes darkly rimmed with eyeliner and mascara so they'd 'pop' on stage. "Oh! Hi! Nadia, right?" He grinned at her but didn't quite turn until he'd rubbed some rouge off his cheeks, "Of course I remember you! You'll have to excuse me, if I don't get this stuff off now--" But then he realized, she hadn't said "Elzo's friend"...she'd said Castor's friend. Colin narrowed his eyes a bit at the reflection in his mirror, giving Nadia a once over and feeling a bit of epiphany rising in his brain at her dark complexion, bright eyes and the almost bouncy way she carried herself. Methone. This is...it has to be Methone! Still, gotta be careful, just in case..."Castor's one helluva guy, isn't he?" Okay, Colin was smiling and rising to his feet so he could give her a hug in greeting. "I'm glad you made a show, beautiful. Not as nice as the northern lights, I'll wager, but still fun at least?" So careful, but also not. The boy could do an entire rainbow of subtle when dancing, but not an ounce within his own life.

Nadia smile remained as he played in with Castor. There was no doubt about his idenity really, because only Aegir had sent her here, and only Aegir and Methone had Castor in common of people.
And the casual slip of Northern lights made her smile widened more.
"You've figured me out, now I can no longer stalk the night as batman." She hugged him tightly and then chuckled. "Please, don't mind me. I just wanted to gush how absolutely amazing you were and how your dance just excited me!" She breathed in.
"I've never seen such a show put on with so many people, since we mainly have small showings at DCU. You seem very calm afterwards." She noted. After everyone of her performances she would have that odd panic. Did she do well? Was her footing pointed in the right direction? Should she have done a spin instead of a leg rise?
"Castor is a pain." She waved her hand, "Wouldn't come with me to come see you. Said I have to just figure it out myself! Oh but Marlo was pulling him a long really so." She let her hand fall. "It's a little weird to connect our powered and civilian lives like this. I hope I don't make you uncomfortable."

"You're much prettier than Batman, Nadia." He continued smiling, happy to see her and to know that she was, well...one of his? Her gushing made him pink under the rouge still partially on his cheeks - stage make-up really was a giant pain in the a**. "I'm really glad you made the show and enjoyed it." "We have a lot of dancers available, though some of us are busy doing The Nutcracker instead of Swan Lake. And of course, not everyone gets to do every show." Colin laughed and grabbed another make-up removing face wipe and started scrubbing again, watching Nadia - Methone - in his mirror, "Calm huh? I'm full of adrenaline, just exhausted. And I know I did well, because of the crowds reaction. So for tonight, I'm not worried. Tomorrow, maybe." He could not help laughing, helplessly and with his whole body, at Castor's having refused to come with her. "God, that's just like him. What a guy." But then she sounded serious and he frowned a bit - Nadia knowing him both ways wasn't a problem, was it? Such thoughts hadn't really crossed his mind; even then he was thinking that it was a good thing to have connected both parts of their lives. "Doesn't bother me at all, unless you plan on putting up a billboard or something. Which...I'm pretty sure you don't, so we're all good." The blond winked at Nadia in the mirror before wiping away the rest of his make-up. It left his skin ruddy and splotchy, which wasn't a good look on anyone, but he had decent skin and it would be fine shortly. "So...since you're here, do you want the grand tour? Behind the scenes at DCBC and all that?"

"You think so?" She batted her eyelashes, "I think he could pull off the n****e leather suit much better then I ever food though." She laughed, "Of course I loved it. Professional dancers are such a level ahead, and the amount of presence on the stage?" How could she ever regret it.
"Tomorrow?" She eased down next to him. "Do they give you an assessment or is it just a personal growth?"
She laughed a little, "Yes. Elzo was not interested tonight. But it seems Marlo had him busy with business...y things." She waved her hand. "Not really. I feel more comfortable this way actually. I know I can count on you really."

Mentioning the n****e-tastic leather suit and imagining Castor in it had Colin snickering while shaking his head. "You know, I'll just pass on seeing that. Really." Her effusive praise made him simultaneously preen and pink; he knew he was good but he also could be insecure and with how he'd been feeling as of late...well, he didn't like thinking his performance might be suffering. "Professional dancers are cutthroat monsters with aching feet, but we put on a good show." He winked at her, expression open and easy. "Both, really. The director and the Ballet Master will go over our performance and point out where we could have done better, that sort of thing. It's usually helpful." Sometimes it was cutting and painful to deal with, but that was all part and parcel of holding the position he did. Colin reached for one of her hands and lifted it, putting a princely kiss lightly across her knuckles. "You can count on me, Nadia. I promise you that." Seriousness aside, he gave her hand a squeeze, "Now, as to what you can count on me for...it's all bad puns, punches, and pirouettes."

"Hold on, I really need too..." She rubbed her temples. "Okay the image is gone. Can't deal with Elzo in a leather suit." She laughed, even as Colin turned a little pink and such.
"It can be hard though too. I've got my assessments coming up soon, I'd love to bother you to help me with my routine if you have time!" She winked, knowing she could probably harass him into something.
As he lifted her hand and placed a very princely kiss on it, she couldn't help the lazy smirk. "Handsome, you can't go about being all princely. I will protect you as much as I would myself." She leaned over and placed a very gentle kiss on his cheeks.
"I will do anything too. Oh!" she reached over into her purse, pulling out a piece of paper. "This is my address. It's a loft, and mildly good size. If you ever need to camp out, or you want a movie night or something? My door's always open!"

With his face finally clear of make-up, Colin turned in his chair to give her his entire attention. "Really? Of course I'd love to help. Whatever you need, Nadia." She was right, 100% correct actually, in thinking she could get the blond danseur to help her out. She wouldn't even have to harass him about it, he was volunteering! Just wait until he started asking her about what moves she had to put in, what was expected and what they could get away with. Nadia's school exam was - from this moment on - a group endeavour. "But it's what I'm good at." He chuckled and presented his face for her kiss. "I know you will, but since I've spent months playing Seigfried...indulge me a bit." Colin kept a gentle hold of her hand, absently threading his fingers through hers; the contact was comforting and calming. The paper she fished out was taken with his free hand and looked over - he knew the area, vaguely. "We definitely need to do movie night one of these days. Saturday or Sunday night." Someone came knocking and brought a vase with roses in it for Colin, so he had to let go of her hand to look at them, to read the card, and offer thanks. The delivery person had left immediately, they were one of the Theatre's runners, not the sender, and they had much work to do. "Well, that's interesting...it's unsigned. Want some flowers for home?" They were pretty, but...honestly, what was he going to do with them? "I don't really keep flowers..." Pixie Nyxie Definitely yes soon to close~ :> TAKE UR FLOWERS AND LEAVE,BEETCH

Nadia practically bounced in her seat. Routine help from a honest to god good Ballerina! Fantastic! She wanted this!
"Sounds good to me! We can harass...Mont Blanc into joining us. He happens to be one of my favorite little knights." She winked, "I love movie nights so much."
"Flowers?" She gently took the vase and laughed, "Are you sure handsome? I'll take them then!" She loved flowers, sniffing into them and closing her eyes. Such a strong scent. Someone really wanted Colin to be admired.
One day she'd like that.
"I don't want to keep you much longer darling, and after that performance, you need some rest." She leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I look forward to this friendship! Call me about movie knight okay?"

If he hadn't been smiling already, her enthusiasm surely would have put him into a wide, happy grin. She's adorable. I'm not that much help, but if she wants me to give a hand, how can I refuse? Not that he would have thought to refuse, they were comrades! Friends. And what were friends for, if not to help out and have each other's backs? "Definitely. Can't forget to have Monty there. I mean, we'd probably end up having to take him to the ER from blood loss, since he spends all his time blushing, but it'd be worth it." He was a good guy, definitely someone that Colin considered a friend as well...but the poor thing got flustered easily and had no clue how to flirt. The blond simply nodded when she asked if he were sure he didn't want to keep them. "Honestly, I get way too many." He chuckled and leaned forward conspiratorially, "Besides, I think they suit you a lot more than they do me." And then there was the fact that several other arrangements - and single blooms, stuffed animals, candy, etc - were already crowding his dressing room. "Consider them a...taste of things to come." Yes, he probably did need to rest. Colin again accepted her kiss and stood to escort her to his door. "You take care of yourself too, Nadia. I'll ring you so we can set up movie night and get your routine worked out." He whistled to one of the stage runners, gesturing her over. "Please see my friend out? It's a mess back here and I don't want her getting hurt." With Nadia's escort to the doors secured, he'd give one last little wave and even blow her a kiss before turning back to his dressing room. He needed to leave a few notes about his costume and had to dispose of any foodstuffs he'd been given by strangers. One never knew, in the ballet world, when a seemingly innocent thing could be dangerous. Thankfully it took very little time and soon he'd be able to go home...or, you know, do the thing where he transformed and patrolled a bit on his way home. But that was another story entirely.
