Onora Post 1It had been a long week of traveling for Onora. Stopping at any rest stop that was allowing her to stay, and fighting back the want to go back home. She had finally made it to Sauti, but her body had many cuts and bumps, that she did not have the supplies to take care of. She knew she needed to find a healer and it had to be soon, or else the wounds could get infected in this new area.
She was in a smaller size town when she walked up to an woman and her child and gave a warming smile, not wanting to scare her off. "Excuse me ma'am, but do you know of any healers around here?" She asked carefully. The woman looked shocked that a Matorian was in her home town and quickly held her small one close to her. "I...Ime." She only said the name and quickly scurried off.
Looking around, Onora was practically back at square one, but this time had a name. She continued on down asking people and by the time she reached an inn, she knew that Ime was an Ice and Wind hybrid that had a vibrant fabric that draped off of her. As she turned, ready to give up, hoping the wounds won't get any worse, she noticed a girl who looked like an Ice earthling but had some different spots that made her unique. As her eyes looked closer, she noticed the vibrant sheer cloth and a huge smile appeared on her face.
Moving as quick as her large body would let her, she made it to the girl and gave a huge smile, clasping her hands. "Are you Ime?!" She said, maybe a bit to excitedly.grasshopper pie Sorry, it's a bit of filler until the last paragraph, but I wanted to set up as much as I could before hand lol Can't wait to get this going (:

Ime had just arrived in the market to see about procuring some ingredients for potions. In theory she could just go out and hunt for them herself, but an ingredient already processed was much simpler than trying to grind minerals yourself. She was also on the lookout for a better way to carry her potions. At the moment she could only carry small vials in a big leather pack when sometimes a proper flask was needed.
The young monk was startled out of her browsing when someone loudly spoke her name. She turned suddenly, brows raised, to see a jovial-looking Matori woman. It had been a decent while since she had seen any member of the water tribe, not since the revival of Neued. How odd that one should come all the way out here to Sauti!
"Yes, I am," Ime responded, offering the woman a broad smile. She turned from the stand she had been browsing stepped out of the way so others could shop, meeting the other woman just beside the stand. "Is there something I can do for you?"

Onora Post 2Onora gave a smile before nodding. "I've been looking for a healer, and everyone was talking about how good ya were. I just traveled here from Matori and as you can see, I've got a good amount of bumps and bruises." She said as she extended her large leg out, showing just a small amount of the scratched and cuts. "I was wondering if you could help me. Just so they don't get infected or anything." She said with a chuckle.

"Oh, of course!" Ime said with a smile, peering down at the young woman's leg and tilting her head. Nothing looked infected or especially grievous. Good! She did have to wonder who had been saying such nice things about her, though. Was it Mama? Thorn? Or did she actually have a large enough customer base that trusted her? It seemed vain to ask, so instead Ime crouched and put her bag on the ground before beginning to sift through it.
"What brings you to Sauti?" she asked while gathering the appropriate supplies. Some healers were all business and never struck conversation. Ime found that especially boring and perhaps even a little rude, especially in the case of minor wounds.

Onora Post 3Onora smiled, glad that the woman was helping her. She heard her ask what she was here for, and a slight blush appeared. "I am actually here for the festival, show the people a new side to food. Also to learn new things to add to my recipe book." She said with a giggle.
She looked down at Ime as she was grabbing the supplies. "How long have you been a healer? I've actually never met one, even in Matori." She said with a chuckle.

"Ooh! Well, welcome!" Ime chimed, her smile broadening. "I'm sure most people around here would love to see new sides to food. Our choices are a bit boring out here." Roots, tubers, the occasional meat or traded goods. Really she and Mama were better off than most when it came to food simply because people's gratitude at their supply runs sometimes ended in a fair meal. She stood with a few small vials between her fingers and then cast her eyes up in thought. Her cheeks puffed out as she tried to reason time.
"Oh, boy. Since just before the battle of Neued," she said with a nod, "They had a bit of a tree problem and I went out to help. I guess healing's a pretty rare path to take. I don't think I could ever heft a weapon against another person myself, though."

Onora Post 4A smile grew on Onora's lips. "I hate to say, but I could tell. When people eat what I make, they instantly smile. Well not to brag, but you know. She said before laughing. She enjoyed seeing the changes the flavors did to new eaters, and even to the normal clientele she saw at home.
When Ime began talking about not being able to attack someone, she began to agree, with a slight anger behind her tongue. Her mind traveled back to when someone ate her food right from her windowsill. "I know exactly what you mean. I can swing my spoon at thieves like no bodies' business though. I hate when people try to steal from others, especially the food I put effort into making. It's nice to know these people have someone to help them." She said before giving a reassuring nod to Ime.grasshopper pie Hey so sorry! RL was getting pretty hectic but still wanna continue??

Ime giggled. It was sadly true! Sauti had an incredibly limited range of flavors. Imagine food from Matori! Ime wondered if it wouldn't be impolite to suggest a trade of healing for food or at least a spice packet or two. Scratches and bruises weren't anything big, but she was forced to remind herself constantly that the products she employed were far from free.
"That's different, though! A good whack isn't... you know. Battle. I can defend myself to a point, if anyone tries to take my stuff again, but if I ever really hurt somebody I'd probably just run up and heal 'em right after." She shifted then and lifted the vial nearly to eye level.
"So this will keep your wounds clean. It doesn't have any pain killer, do you think you need anything? Because if not, this would be great to dab on after a day of walking, or you could put it on and then bandage up? I have bandages too!"

Onora Post 5Onora nodded as Ime spoke about giving someone a few whacks, completely understanding. She had to do it in the beginning of being back in Matori; where she held her spoon taunt just in case. She laughed at Ime hurting someone, just to run up and heal them.
When they spoke about her wounds again, she shook her head. No I think that would be fine, I'm not really in pain, it's just bothersome to walk funny so the wounds don't get worse." She said with a laugh. Her eyes scanned around and a big grin appeared on her face.
"Could I make you something? In return to you being so kind?" She asked, hoping she would say yes. Her father taught her how to make a thick soup which was the perfect thing if you were sick. She wanted to make it and hand the whole thing to the people who were ill and hungry, and what perfect person to start with than someone everyone can trust?

Ime nodded and then tilted her head and peered down.
"Oh, do you have some underneath your feet? Those can be quite a bother." She was ready to crouch down and look over the pads of the woman's feet if so. Those might need a little extra care to keep them from splitting or growing infected.
"Oh, sure! You know, I was just thinking that myself, is it selfish? Usually I charge coin, but I don't think I've ever met a chef like you before! Food would be much more exciting." Maybe she could save some to share with Thorn!

Onora Post 6Onora beamed, glad Ime was willing to try her food. She thought for a quick moment to think of what she was going to make and then nodded. "Okay then! And I will take you up on that offer for these swollen feet of mine. They feel worse for wear." She said with a chuckle.
Crossing her hands over her large torso, Onora looked around. "Now where can we cook it?" She mumbled to herself. "Do you know somewhere we could go? I'd only need it for a moment." She asked, not wanting to impose on anyone.grasshopper pie Hey there, I know it's been a while but if you want to continue biggrin

"Oh, hold off on the cooking, just sit down for a second if you would," Ime said, gently gesturing that Onora should take to a nearby stone. "We don't want your feet getting any worse walking there, and then you can test them out. I can't say I know any place with public cooking utensils but I don't live too far from here if that isn't too presumptuous. I could always meet you with a few supplies."
When the Matorian sat, Ime rubbed her hands together to warm them. "Do you mind if I touch your feet? A little magic will start healng those cuts and bruises right quick." She eyed Onora's feet. They did look a little battered, the poor thing.
MissBelikov Sure, if you'd like! Ime's actually already grown so this won't count for her, but it'll still count for Onora, right?
