((back dated to being the 'night' after the youma battle - as it ended early that morning - likely a few hours before dawn.))

When Hugbell managed to get back, it was still dark out, or well she looked around the park for the clock that stated date and time. She'd been gone at least a day already. Thankfully she'd been able to convince her parents she'd be camping for the weekend.

Though now her problem was, she looked at her wounds. How were these going to be tended to? She hadn't talked to any of her other family in a while as they were all busy so she had little in the way of people to go to. Finding her way to a bench she settled on it and checked her leg, to notice that it wasn't as bad as she'd expected. It looked as if it'd managed to heal enough to not bleed anymore. Just some cleaning and she could bluff that she'd gotten it caught on a rock hiking.

Though her side was more problematic. It was still bleeding though lightly. She looked around as she tried to consider her options. Any trips to the hospital would certainly raise questions, her parents worried sick and no way for her to explain that away. Since she really would've been out in the woods when something like this happened not just walking into an ER. "Shoot this is not good."

She murrmurred as she looked at the stuffed bear who was sitting beside her as just a normal stuffed animal. That was when she felt a Chaos energy ping, " . . . . That had so better be Scheelite. . . otherwise this is soooo not the time . . . " She sighed as she placed her arms on her legs and doubled over trying to hide her wounds until she could figure out who it was.

The night hours were wasting away, but General Mica was still on the prowl. Thus far, there had been little activity on the streets, which would have came off as peculiar to her, had she not been enjoying her solitude.

She was about ready to call it a night when something blipped on her internal radar, an Order aura, and a strange one at that. She had sensed something like it before, though where? Suddenly, the silence that once filled her mind made way to a slew of questions, and it did not take much convincing to remove herself from the parapet she was sitting along and make her way towards the source of the aura. By the time she landed on the concrete belong, her spear was at her side and she walked briskly and with purpose.

The closer she got, the more other things started to catch her interests. The smell of blood hit her nose and that only served to intrigue her more. Whoever this senshi was, seems that had fallen upon the worst of luck, and it would only get worse. 'Good, that means other officers are doing their jobs. Always a good thing to know...'

Not that she could judge other officers harshly, but still, it did her heart well to know that she wasn't the only one eager to draw blood from their enemy. Too many of her fellow officers were too soft, too fragile... it was simply amazing that the dark gift that was bestowed upon them didn't shatter their pathetic little seeds from the start.

Eventually, she found her way into the park- yes, the park, how apropos for the death grounds of a senshi- and Mica was surprised she could even enter these grounds. The last time she stepped into this park, she allowed Vespa to escape her... allowed that little tart that spirited her little Wasp away to drive her own spear into her gut... had allowed her greatest defeat to be seen by so many and left her all by crippled for months. Would they remember? Which was worst, she pondered momentarily as she drew closer and closer to her next victim. Remembering her disgrace, or forgetting she even existed at all among the Negaverse.

She truly hoped that this senshi was worth killing, because she really needed the boost in self-esteem right now. She spotted her and clucked her teeth, trying to decided exactly what it was about her that seemed... different. "You chose a terrible place to rest."

Hugbell's eyes rose as the General approached, she could feel her. Yellow eyes rested on the General and when she spoke, Hugbell could only sit there, thinking about a way out of this.

"Rest? Ah, I wasn't resting I was looking for someone. I didn't have any glowsticks to send out a bat signal so I was hoping waiting here would prove some wealth." She paused eyes not wavering from the General.

"Though, you're not quite who I was looking for I'm afraid." Hugbell continued to remain motionless. Sure that by now that General had figured out she was wounded but hopefully the mention of glowsticks might cause the general to pause and think. She knew no longer was she a child, and now fair game for anyone.

She'd been warned of this by Zinkinite, Wolframite and others. Though she was also not stupid. If she had to, she would put up a fight. However, Hugbell was hoping that she wouldn't have to. Summoning Barnaby from his subspace pocket he landed on her shoulder to also stare at the General - even though he wasn't animated for the time being, it'd certainly make him easier to throw if she needed him as a distraction.

She had to hand it to the senshi, as there wasn't nearly as much fear in her eyes as she expected from her enemies. Some were brave, stupidly brave. Others were clueless and thought the giant spear she carried was merely decoration. Then there were those that simply held no fear, not to be confused with brave, simply... accepting of their enemy and simply not showing fear. She wondered where this young senshi fell into, as she drew close enough to observe her wounds.

"Glowsticks wouldn't do you much good except only to attract your enemies." She said with a cold sneer, the scent of blood hitting her nose and sending off mixed signals in her mind. She felt repulsed, but drawn to it, and the fact that she was not the one that spilled this blood annoyed her. Leave it to her to have to clean up someone else's job...

Then the senshi summoned a familiar teddy bear, and Mica could only stare at it, pondering... what it was about that bear that seemed familiar. What it was that made her old wounds cringe and twist at her abdomen. "Have we met before?"

Hugbell tilted her head softly, yellow eyes calm. "They would if I intended to get Scheelite's Attention, though I haven't seen him in a long while." She said, "Which is actually who I was hoping to find."

Hugbell could feel the tenseness, she was trying to do her best to stay where see didn't seem like a threat but also not an easy target. She'd learned by now how to balance her emotions somewhat. She knew who could really mess her up she was sure that Mica could do some real damage if she wanted to.

Her brows rose as Mica asked if they'd met before. "Perhaps not formally? I know we haven't met personally, though larger scale battles tend to be so much of a chicken-run it's hard to remember who you've ran into and who you haven't."

She was trying also not to let the pain get to her. Lifting her arm slightly from her wounds brows knitting in concern as she was trying to figure out how to tend to them since she couldn't go home and dress them herself. They were clearly from large sets of claws. Though she looked back quickly to Mica after having checked on them.

Mica's brain racked to recall who Scheelite was and it took longer than she would have wanted, but eventually she found a name to that face. Yes, Scheelite. She didn't know him personally, but she ran into a few times, and truly it was impossible not to remember a general so... vibrant. "You seem to have rotten luck then."

Which made her sick. This senshi was apparently hoping for a Negaverse general to rescue her, and the notion that a Negaverse general would plant such a thought in the enemy's head was either treacherous or downright brilliant. Sadly, she didn't know Scheelite enough to know which of the two it was.

Which now brought her back to why this one seemed familiar, or at least, her teddy bear. When she admitted to have met in a large scale battle, the vision hit her. The park. Vespa. Her spear in her own gut... and someone offering a teddy bear, as if it would have comforted her as she fell into Buddingtonite's arms and died.

"You were there at the park, when Pasiphae stabbed me with my own weapon." She said matter-of-factly, and her impulse to drive her weapon through her was sated, if only for a moment. Was it the memories that caused this, or the sight of those claw-like gashes on her side that made her pause? The world may never know, as she made no indication of such. "You've changed since then, though. Tell me what happened."

"It seems I do. If nothing else I was hoping for a drop off at a hospital that wouldn't ask questions or call my parents." She sighed softly murr murring. "Even Zink might've done it. . . though I don't know."

Hugbell paused and stopped thinking, "Ohhhhh, yeah." She said softly thinking back to the park with Vespa. There was a long moment of silence, "He can heal minor things . . . I think . . . I know he comforts for sure, but I was going to hope it might've done enough to have kept you from dying right there." She said trying not to look awkward at that thought.

She paused, noticing the ribbons on her arms and that her fuku had changes since she grew up. "When we were in the park together I was still a child. . . chibi-senshi. I assume you know what they are." She added, as Mica seemed like a smart general.

"Anyways, I recently grew . . . well in senshi terms graduated to what's known as a full senshi. The glowing markings though, I'm not sure fully but I feel like it has something to do with my home out in space." She sighed. "I need to figure out what they fully mean to be honest. Or what it is. Beyond weird and strange. . ."

Mica was curious, but truly didn't care all that much. She knew the need to get one self to the hospital and she personally knew the whole requirement of 'one that doesn't ask questions'. Was it not why her own services should have been sought after?

The keyword was 'should' and whatever tension she felt from recalling how she knew of this senshi was buried under resentment now. In truth, no one sought her out... no one that wasn't a fool and wished for death anyways. She tried to push it aside and tried to focus on the senshi instead, and hearing her talk about Vespa made her surly once more. The traitor still lived... and had the nerve to cast magic that healed? Was the universe truly so cruel?

"It didn't do anything for me."

She pushed all thoughts of that fateful night aside and focused more on what had changed about the senshi, and the mention of Zinkenite made her curious. Why would this one have known one of their General-Kings and remain alive to tell about it? "Yes, I'm aware of them. Useless things that have no business getting involved in this war. But you're obviously not one anymore..."

Chibi graduating into a full senshi. And once again, those bright marks, like Ganymede's... she listened intently, hoping for recover some valuable intel before she dispatched this senshi to hell. "Then those wounds are from something that happened to your home planet? How... interesting."

An idea was forming, and she almost hated herself for it.

Hugbell frowned, "I was trying to help." She said indignantly. "I was trying to help you but you and the other man ran off too fast."

She would've crossed her arms but she was trying to keep the wounds under pressure. Even though she still looked at the general. She hadn't attacked her yet, perhaps she was buying time. Hugbell mentally twitched at the idea, what if they were just going to dog pile her. "It does seem that way. I have perhaps lost my leverage in speaking civilly to most of your side without being attacked on sight. Despite my belief we could perhaps co-exist at least until we manage to figure out how to make homeworlds liveable again since it seems that is what your kin are after to banish us back to space."

"Yes, these wounds are from something on my homeworld. . . A youma in fact, who attacked, not one of yours. It has been to my home world before. In the past. I have vague memories of it and books that obviously had pictures of it - which I can no longer read."

She sighed shaking her head, "When it pinned me and caused these wounds my homeworld seemed to summon others to help dust it as I wasn't strong enough myself."

She looked around, "When it was gone so were they. No one stayed to help, I stayed on my homeworld for a while looking after the crystals the space youma was after. That's when the glowing marks appeared. I have no idea otherwise what they do or what they are . . . at least for now."

Mica scoffed at her excuse and waved it off. "Don't. I'm your enemy. You have no reason to help me except to give me a merciful death if you ever find me in that state again."

Yes, death would have been preferable than the thought of accepting any help from a damned White Mooner, especially a helpless one like a child. Though not a child anymore, this one was still her enemy. Had she not had those marks, she could have been coaxed or forced into being an ally, but she recalled Valhalla's interrogation and knew now it to be useless. The senshi dribbled on about her beliefs and her lamenting that now she would be treated as an enemy and thought little of it.

No, what caught her attention was that there was a youma on her homeworld... how could youma reach into space when their officers could not? She had to know more, and it seemed that this senshi was a little too eager to just hand it to her.

Hearing her allies abandon her did nothing for her own conscience- after all, she was surprised that Buddingtonite had even whisked her away when he did. It was unexpected of him, considering she pegged him for being the type to just flee when first blood was drawn on their side. Still, seemed more than what her allies did with this one, and her pity was faux. "Tragedy. They'll help you fight but won't tend to your wounds."

By now she was standing in front of Hugbell entirely, and her idea blossomed. Without warning, her spear disappeared from her hands and she motioned to the medkit at her hip. "Tell me more about this youma that attacked you, then..."

Hugbell's eyes widened at Mica when she waved it off and asked for a mercy killing. "B-but that's not something I'd do." She admitted, though she was the senshi of comfort, it wasn't that sort of comfort. "I might be the senshi of comfort but that's not my style."

Hugbell paused, "Perhaps it was my homeworld and not them willing themselves away. They can't telelport like you can. . ." The teen reminded her, "We can get to space but not each others homeworld without the senshi of that hoemworld taking them. So I can only assume that they can be summoned in times of need and whisked back just as easily. . . "

She scratched the back of her head with her free hand, "Still baffling though why it wouldn't let anyone tend to my wounds."

The senshi jumped as the spear disappeared and something else fully harmless looking was brought her attention. The teen looked at it quizzically, and then back to Mica. "You're, helping me?"

She wasn't sure if she should be worried or relieved. Though she wasn't going to completely turn down the offer. "The youma?" She parroted for a moment thinking about it.

Well if nothing else maybe Mica could help her figure out what was going on. "Well, it was clearly larger than anything I've seen here. So I'm assuming there's youma that actually live out in space. That can't get here but can get to the homeworlds out there in space. Theory I suppose. . ."

She paused, "But he's been there before, back in the past I'm not really sure how far in the past. . . But the stories make him seem like an ancient youma so I can only assume thousands of years. He also totally made too big of a snack out of the animals on my homeworld since they're all stuffed. . . and he was hacking gross balls of stuffing up, like a cat would fur. . ."

She paused and looked around for a good height comparison. "He was probably the size of a small house. . . "

"This is war. Sometimes you'll be expected to do what you consider out of your style." Mica wasn't even sure why she was wasting her time talking to the senshi, and yet, here she was. "How else are you expected to survive if you keep allowing your enemy to live, especially one that's beyond help? You'd be the crueler one to allow them to live in the agony of their wounds instead of granting them death."

As Hugbell carried on with her still childish rambling, Mica rummaged through her medkit, counting her supplies and determining what she's need to keep this senshi alive long enough to be of some use to her. She never thought she'd be wasting her supplies on the likes of a senshi, but had Hugbell not mentioned Zinkenite, nor the youma that appeared on her homeworld, Mica would have practiced what she preached. She pulled out gauze, anti-septic wipes, but made a note not to grab the supplies for the stitching. She's had to test their depths first so see if they were even worth wasting right now. She wanted her to live long enough to provide information, not truly to help her, she reminded herself.

When Hugbell asked, she blatantly ignored the question and focused only on her work and the youma. She cared little for the size of the youma outside of it possibly being why it could have made it there, and to hear her confessed that it had been there before only drove her curiosity deeper. She motioned for her to move her arms so that she could inspect the wounds, as she inquired further. "I've seen some youma get that big. But seldom on the streets, and certainly not on another world."

Only the Rift carried housed that size, at least until unleashed by a General-King or Queen. Did one release one on her home and simply left it there? It was all too interesting. "What became of it when it died? And what about these crystals? Lift your arms or else I can't do you much good."

Hugbell cringed but she realized the other was right, "Well when you put it that way . . ."

She was watching the general everything seemed right but she knew those wipes were going to sting and she sighed moving her arm. Wincing as she did, the air stinging the wounds, she was lucky in the fact they hadn't caught anything horribly important but they were fairly deep despite that. Or she would've already been dead, had the wounds been more serious.

She paused when the general said she'd seen youma get that big. "I've only seen maybe one or two? The Phoenix?" She seemed to question that one slightly, "And space whale I think. . . though I'm not sure that -was- a youma."

She'd seen so much as a child it was hard to tell for sure what was real and what was bad vs what was good. She seemed to think about the questions asked. "Well, it seemed like he became dust, like most others. Perhaps to reform again. I doubt I've seen the last of him though I don't know how long youma take to reform. I just hope I can protect myself and my homeworld better. . . next time."

She paused the crystals, "Oh!" She tugged out the ribbon that held Barnaby's crystal. "They're larger versions of this. I believe at one point they may have powered the stuffed animals on my homeworld. This one can bring Barnaby here to life for a little while. However, the others I don't think carry that sort of magic anymore . . . if they do it's been lost to time."

She sighed softly, "I'd have to learn how to translate my own language to english and then work from there to decode all the books that speak about what the crystals do. I just know they're important and apparently powerful enough to catch a space youma's attention of that size. After all, I've never seen any of you guys in space . . . without help."

Mica prided herself in her diligence and her ability to focus when on the job. When one worked in the medical field, they had to be alert and aware at all times and notice the fine details. As an EMT in training, they had to notice the fine details or risk losing a patient and thus wasting their time and effort in the first place. For Mica, it was no different. She got to work on tearing at the fabric that surrounded the cuts and moved to the wipes, not at all gentle or warning her that it would sting.

She was old enough to know how rubbing alcohol worked, she told herself, pressing it against her cuts and listening to Hugbell's story with keen interest, masked by indifference. She had hoped to get something useful out of it, though thus far she felt a little disappointed.

'Youma... I thought they simply returned to the Rift to reform. What else do I not know about these youma and the Rift I wonder.'

She looked over the crystal and resisted the temptation to touch it. She wanted to take one with her, but she doubted that Hugbell would oblige... perhaps as payment for her services? She kept the thought present even as she patched her up. "I see. Did you bring any other crystals with you?"

At least she wouldn't have to waist her thread, as the cuts weren't that deep... not that she would waste them on a senshi.

Hugbell bit her lower lip when Mica actually used the medical wipes. Trying not to flinch, it stung and she knew it would. If she'd gotten the rubbing alcohol on the wounds sooner would've probably not hurt quite as much.

She paused as the woman asked about if she'd brought any other crystals with her. "No, I'm afraid I didn't think to bring any home with me." She tilted her head curiously, "The only reason I have this one is it was given to me from one of the uh. . . I guess he's sort of an alchemist -- anyways he gave it to me back before the homeworld collapsed."

She seemed to think, "I could try to find some baby crystals next time I go back." She mused, looking towards Mica, "Would you be interested in one? I can't promise it'll work like the one for Barnaby does."

The teen was trying to stay as still as possible while the woman worked. "I could also bring pictures of the youma, there's a few in books - if it'd help you to see him since you seemed interested?"
