Zinnia skipped up the steps to the trainer's podium. Zebo kept pace at her side. "Do your best, Zebs!" the girl said brightly. Her liepard purred before he took his place on the field.

Zakiax entered the stadium. He gave a small wave to his opponent before sending out Phrixus, his houndoom. "Lets get this party started"

Seeing that they were up first, Zak called out the first move. "Phrixus lets start off with Nasty Plot!"
Phrixus began to plot, increasing his attack power.

Zebo leaped out of the way of the houndoom's headbutt. As Phrixus ran past, he aimed to smack his unprotected hindquarters with a mischievous chuckle.

Phrixus was hit and hit hard with the Rock Smash attack.
"Phrixus, use Torment" Zak called out quickly. Inputing his command for the Houndoom. Most of the time Zak let his own pokemon chose what to do, however there were times when he would need to take command.
Phrixus countered with Torment, causing it so his opponent couldn't use the same moved twice in a row for the rest of the battle.

Phrixus was affected by the charm as it lowered his attack powered, however he still swiped at the Liepard.
