In the down time of our mini-hiatus, we present to you our first Event Suggestion Survey! By filling out the form below, we'll take your ideas and suggestions into consideration for our upcoming events and shape our presentation to cater more to you personally. This survey will be open for the duration of the hiatus and you may edit your forms during this time. One ballot per person, please!Thank you very much! We hope this is as good an opportunity for you as it is for us. SUGGESTION SUBMISSION When are you most free to participate? time zones, week days, months/seasons What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? raffles, auctions, writing events, dice games, creative contests, you name it Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? are there any video games, comics, or cartoons you might like to see represented? What did you enjoy from our past events? was there a specific game or contest you had a lot of fun with or was particularly memorable? What should we do differently? is there anything we've done that was not-so-fresh? Final Thoughts: anything else you'd like to say! When are you most free to participate? Ah, weekends for single day games; I'm freer after Independence day than any time before it :> What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? I generally prefer writing or creativity contests to raffles, although I have a slight preference for raffles that reward participation (whether through daily post or through winning minigames) over pure raffles, but I dislike raffles that simultaneously discourage thread discussion (I've seen threads where people could get daily raffle tickets become overrun by ticket posts, stifling the ability to really talk in the thread, which kind of disappoints me! I think a quick solution to this is having people say something or post an image they've found each day instead of just copying and pasting a form, so there's at least something to comment on and conversation can grow from there). I dislike paid raffles but wouldn't mind auctions, although I wouldn't participate in one personally. As for types of writing contests - I really like group contests or plot contests as a person, because I prefer writing about characters within the context of their lives and of other characters around them. Even just pair contests (a pair of twins + a pair of bffs? biggrin ) are tons of fun for me. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? I personally shy away from cosplay or tribute characters on a whole, but I know a ton of people appreciate them. I can't really suggest any fandoms ahah but maybe a historical theme would be cute? Offering kids who're wearing popular fashion from different recent decades would be easier to explain in shop, or perhaps just kids carrying accessories from decades farther in the past. What did you enjoy from our past events? I-I haven't really participated in your past events, fff, but I do generally like the huge variety of possible ways for people to win characters :> <33 Good job! I've liked your wittier short form contests, like the Journey and new year ones. I've never been able to be around for one of them (or had an accepted quest thread) but I also really liked your psychic lessons. Admiiiittedly I really really like playing with dice mechanics, so. xD What should we do differently? ??? ilu! Um, if there isn't already incentive for more active RP or rewards for thread participation (occasional items or miiiinor arrowhead drops?), I think that'd be beneficial :> I know RP/talking is its own reward but I'm also aware that the thread can fall into bouts of inactivity. Final Thoughts: Hi I just thought this thread looked lonely <3

When are you most free to participate? As of now? It's hard to say, but 4-5PM to 12AM or later (earlier?) for now. That may change, though! And of course, the holidays are always a busy time. What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? I like writing, roleplaying, and concept contests, as well as random-number-generators, and free or participation-based raffles are good too! I'm not really a fan of pure bump-based raffles or prizes, since that can overrun discussion, but it is a good way to get a thread noticed, so I'm not too much against them. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? I think Gravity Falls would fit really well into the psychic summer-camp theme! It even comes with pets, from Waddles and the recurring goat to weirder pets based on the one-shot creatures (mutated by psychic energy, maybe?). It could even be an event of its own, something with the journals and camp mysteries? Maybe Frozen? Mostly, I admit, for the possibility of a Hans-based camper/student with Pyrokinesis. And a Sailor Moon-themed set of kids would lend themselves really well to starter powers. Hm... Maybe something hobby-based? Campers/Students who are themed around video games, tabletop games, reading/writing, art, sports, etc. What did you enjoy from our past events? I really enjoyed the dice-rolling/RNG games! I also liked the Open House RP, and was kinda bummed that I didn't get the chance for Wu-Xia to do more, so RP events are awesome, too! (Since I know not everyone's wild about the dice/RNG games.) What should we do differently? I... honestly have no idea! Maybe more 'official' open RPs, with possible RP incentives? Giving a jumping-off point (ex. "It's a campfire roast, yay!"), incentives or not, would probably motivate lazy types like me to get their campers/students involved! Final Thoughts: I haven't been around much. Life has been a little crazy! (And I lost the 'Net for a while, so... Like I said, crazy!) I hope to be able to remedy this! D=

When are you most free to participate? Normally summer or holidays, since I don't work during those times. However now that I'm done with school I'll have weekends and weekdays after 3. What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? More roleplay contests. I also like the Franken Raffles. Personally I like premades, or semi-customs where you have to post certain pictures or recipes or things like that and that effects how the character looks. Also advertising contests, only so we can get more people. I think bump contests aren't bad, but maybe should be in an event thread so people can still talk in the normal one and we still get people to notice the main one. I'm a fan of hide and seek games (like on a grid system) for maybe items or arrowheads. Like the others said concept contest and writing contests are my favorite. I also like contests where you have to pair up or have a group. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? I think fandom ideas are fun. Like maybe a movie theme and all the characters are similar to movies, or television shows, or books, or bored games. Any kind of theme like that would be fun. There is always the seven deadly sins and seven lively virtues idea. I also like the hobby theme. Or maybe family themed (like camper/camper or student/camper pairs). What did you enjoy from our past events? I love the psychic lessons, the Franken raffles are one of my favorite events also. What should we do differently? I agree with more open RPs, I think that everything has been smooth here just more RP action would be nice. Normally people participate more when there are official roleplays. Final Thoughts: I love you guys and can't wait for this shop to start again!

When are you most free to participate? 3-10 pm PST What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? i like raffe/dice games, but creative contests are always super fun <3 Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? maybe Ghibli themed characters? or characters based off of myths/folklore? on astrology/star signs (zodiac)? What did you enjoy from our past events? I liked the urban legend writing contest in the halloween event, as well as the Gobble Gobble event around thanksgiving <3 They were all pretty creative, and the themes were fun (in my opinion) What should we do differently? i like the sound of more camp orps, but i also like tiny spontaneous events like "oh what is this small item doing laying next to the old broken vending machine? write a story about who left it there and why and roll a number between # & # and we'll random number generate who gets to keep it!" kind of thing (but that's just me <3) Final Thoughts: excited to see things start happening again c:

When are you most free to participate? Weekday Evenings (6pm PST - 12) and Saturdays What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? The things I enjoy most are concept based contests, or ones that require participation in order to be rewarded, which I feel you do already. I also enjoy raffles, and I'm definitely not opposed to auctions either. I'd even be down for bribes/rlc things.. I'm actually super down for an RLC. I think maybe a continous RP based event might be neat, where you need to rp a generic character in a situation and survive eliminations (i.e. CYOA, experience has taught me that these are very popular) Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? I second Sailor Moon and studio Ghibli movies and zodiac themed... old 80s cartoons like Jem, Rainbow Brite, MLP... Captain Planet? ... Legend of Zelda? Wind Waker style is a pretty good fit I think. I'd also totally fig fairy tale based one or alice in wonderland themed. What did you enjoy from our past events? The snowflakes were a good idea, but I found they never happened when I was around, so I guess that can be a hit or miss for some people. I liked the New Years Resolution raffle, raffles in general, and basically all of the halloween contests. What should we do differently? I think you're doing fine! The halloween event was definitely the biggest and most successful I think, and I think perhaps that advertising helped a lot in getting interest and people in the thread (that's how I got in anyways) Final Thoughts: You're doing okay lovelies.

When are you most free to participate? Weekday Evenings (5pm EST- 12) and weekends. What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? I love RP games, so anything with writing in it. Also free or low costing raffle games are fun also. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? I really like what everyone has said so far. I'm also a fan of Disney themed, or back to school themed (where the students can represent the different emotions going back to school) that sounded cooler in my head. I like the idea of different video game characters the most though, especially since the possibilities are pretty much endless. What did you enjoy from our past events? I haven't been in any. What should we do differently? I think things are done perfectly from what I can see. I wish the shop was more active, but I understand things happen. Final Thoughts: Can't wait for this shop to come back to life

I love writing events, personally! :> Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? HMM... vidyas... - borderlands? - don't starve characters (they lend themselves to powers! willow as a pyrokinetic, wendy as an umbrokinetic, wx-78 as an electrokinetic...)? - binding of isaac? What did you enjoy from our past events? i enjoy the sense of humour y'all keep at all times! :>!! What should we do differently? i'm not sure. :/a Final Thoughts: yayyyy

Games (raffle, etc.), Writing/roleplay, creativity contests, design/concept contests, name that {blank}. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? Historical events theme, food theme (cause everyone loves food) or drink theme, song theme, animal/spirit theme, space/constellation theme. What did you enjoy from our past events? I haven't gotten into any. What should we do differently? Advertise more? There were time where things were going on and despite being subscribed I didn't even know. >> Final Thoughts: I'm so excited to see more happening within the shop! 8D

When are you most free to participate? God just, basically all the time? Nighttime hours EST work best, and I'm generally too busy slogging through a mountain of grams in december to be of any use to anyone. What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? WRITING oh my god, but like. Short form. Some kinda drabble rp contest maybe. That'd be cool. Also advertising contests so people pimp your shop more!! just for pets if you don't wanna commit to advertising students/campers maybe but it needs doing. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? You're already video games forever I can't add anything to that
DO SOME LIKE really corny typical b/c themes. like fruit, and gemstones, and wildlife. It'll be hilarious because it might be bad but it'll be ironically bad and the campers/students will, doubtless, be fabulous. What did you enjoy from our past events? all the games you hated the most that made you suffer. j/k uhhh idk you guys always come up with novel twists on humdrum games! What should we do differently? beta test your games tho Final Thoughts: I love you

When are you most free to participate? Evenings MST and weekends during the day What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? I like writing events, CYOAs, scavenger hunts, raffles, mini-games for silly prizes.... FRANKEN RAFFLES Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? Ren & Stimpy/Rocko's Modern Life/Ahh! Real Monsters/90's cartoons - designers (Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, fun things like that?) - Hitchcock movies or old Hollywood - Classical artists/art deco/impressionism - absinthe or laudnum - old west - retro video games/arcade games - your mom What did you enjoy from our past events? the variation. the FNAF cupcake. Making that turkey. What should we do differently? MOAR CUPCAKE.... Final Thoughts: Nos wants to play 4 a sausage, can we have pet games

When are you most free to participate? Monday through Wednesday are my days off currently. 12 PM EST - 10PM EST is typically when I am awake. Summer sucks, I work constantly. What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? Writing contests are my favorite, with concept contests being my favorite of those. I am so busy, bouncing around other threads and doing things around the house that mini games in the thread are usually missed. Consequently, if they are not unplanned and super sudden, Auctions are great as well. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? Time periods! Like '20s to '90s. Pixar/Disney themes would be epic. (would kill for a Leilo/stitch character omg) Spatoon!/Jet Set Radio (similar feel game wise, I think) What did you enjoy from our past events? They were creative! What should we do differently? Other than work on the inactivity bouts, I think you have a very solid shop here. Great premise, great art, but yeah, as a few others have said, there isn't as much incentive to RP/be active. Final Thoughts: I miss this place, miss Ray, and really need to get back here, god damnit.

When are you most free to participate? Evenings What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? Game raffles (dice games and such but instead of most points wins it's raffle points), drabble prompts, franken camper/students, themed concept contest (people enter with a prompt word for the camper/student to be based on in line with the event theme, for example halloween might have "black cat" or "skulls", along with a few key words for other things the artist might need such as personality) Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? I think style parody events might be fun, where even if it's not an outright cosplay the characters could fit into the source material (for example, a Steven Universe event might have campers or students based on different gems than the main characters in the show). What did you enjoy from our past events? A lot of the games were really fun! Another thing I enjoy are the "rp as you want" things such as the test classes, where there's a structured goal but you can choose how in depth you want to go. What should we do differently? With how broken the economy is at the moment I think it'd be good to avoid gold based events (such as paid raffles and auctions) for campers or students, but those might still work okay for plushies or grams Final Thoughts: Love this place and can't wait to see it get rolling again!

When are you most free to participate? In the evenings on days I work (days off differ from week to week), after 5:00 PST or so! Usually available all seasons and if something comes up where I'm unavailable, I'm usually pretty good at letting folks know! What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? I love the create-a-camper/student contests! They're a lot of fun and create some pretty interesting combos. Dice games are also a lot of fun! I'd also love something along the lines of maybe a mock DnD or create-your-own-adventure thing! ALSO A "WHERE IN THE WORLD IS CARMEN SANDIEGO" TYPE GAME???? Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? You know me and space so I'd love to see that. I think music genres might be a fun one to do, and I do so love the video games themes y'all do from time to time. I'd love to see one based on rhythm games!! What did you enjoy from our past events? How interactive/free form some of the events were. I loved when y'all did test classes, that was BEYOND fun and i had such a good time participating! Frankenkid events, also very much yes! Also had a ton of fun with the Valentines event! What should we do differently? I'd love to see more ORPs run by staff, something not TOO structured but little things to break the ice! Maybe more RP incentives for more plot-centered things? IDK MAN, I just want more ORPsssss. Final Thoughts: ECHOING ATMA, pet games would be sO FUN. PSYCHIC PET OLYMPICS!!

When are you most free to participate? Evenings EST are good, during the fall I am never free on Saturday. Otherwise, I don't have anything set, my mornings are just taken. What kinds of games or contests would you like to see in our next event? I love dice games, but those aren't the best for an rp oriented shop inless it's a familiar, item, or arrowhears sort of thing. I like flaffles better than flatsales, raffles are fun, I've never been sure of auctions because I've seen so many of the same people always win them, while others can never afford it. They're ok sometimes. I like creative rp contests. Also, a very very long time ago I remember pokeboys held a scavenger hunt through their guild/thread with clues. The clues lead to bits of a picture and you had to fit them together (puzzle). That seemed fun, but very complex to set up. Another thing is I've entered a partnered rp contest before (two people as a team working for two pets/creatures/characters) and that was also fun. The partner really helped bounce ideas back and forth. Do you have any suggestions for themes in the next event? If any themse of the sorts suggestion, I would simply hold an event where the children/campers are FANS OF certain things, like a brony with a brony t-shirt, rather than a superman or fluttershy based cosplay. This means a fan of superman might just wear a home-made cape and aspire to be a superhero, and make their own costume. I don't feel like cosplays would fit here,BUT, a=I think a nerd-event would be awesome with the fans of things. A fan of bronies, thundercats, superman, batman, racing, mario, hello kitty... etc. The fan-of would leave it open for others to quest a character fo the same fandom if they liked, instead of saying 'we already have a hello-kitty camper, we cant diversity. What did you enjoy from our past events? Reading people's rp and contest entries! What should we do differently? Uhm... not sure.... Final Thoughts: I'd do cosplays=no, but themed =yes
