I am Lady Areya Rose Stormbringer.

I was born 120 years ago to Alexander James and Cassandra Marie Stormbringer. Because I was born and raised on the Stormbringer Estate which sits in a magical area, I age much slower than people in a normal space and time. For every five years that passes outside of the estate only one year passes inside of it. And yet the estate exists in all places and times at once.

About the only bad memory I have growing up is when my mother became ill and passed away. After that my father never remarried, making me an only child. Because of this my father doted on and spoiled me senseless. Which basically made me a brat and I would play pranks on the staff and guests with out mercy.

When I was around the age of sixteen my father invited some special guests to come stay for a summer at the estate. There was a lord, his wife and their son. We were about the same age as I try to recall it. We spent the summer together walking the gardens, playing games and endless nights talking. I thought I was in love, but then they left suddenly. After they were gone for some reason I couldn't remember their faces, names or much about them, only a boy who eyes would light up when he smiled.

It was during that time I stopped playing tricks and pranks (for the most part) and started helping my father run the estate. Then on my twentieth birthday my father announced he would be turning the estate over to me by my twenty second birthday. That gave me ten short years to prepare to take over. And on that day I still wasn't prepared.

You see, although I act very outgoing and confident for my father and the staff. I'm actually quite shy and unsure of myself. My father is the most important person in the world to me. I love and respect him very much. So I hid the fact that I never actually got close to others for fear of losing them like I did my mother and the boy with the smiling eyes.

In front of others I'm polite, kind and try to make everyone happy with my quick wit, spontaneity, and willingness to laugh at even bad jokes. But when I'm alone I tend to be moody, (which I've had to keep in check since taking over the estate) I often stare off into the distance, and am an unorganized mess who feels empty inside.

All in all here I am, a twenty four year old Lady Areya head and hostess of the Stormbringer Estate. I stand five feet seven inches tall with a medium build and weigh one hundred thirty five pounds. I have red hair that reaches down to my waist, blue eyes and pierced ears. I love to read romances and manga. My favorite color is.....you guessed it red. I have picked up the bad habit of smoking cigarettes on occasion and drinking a glass of wine on particularly quiet nights.

I still have a bit of that pranksterish child in me, so to entertain myself I sometimes dress like the staff or guests and wander the estate, seeing what kind of mischief I can get into or what others are getting into. I do like to make every one happy and feel good about themselves, therefore you may see flirting with any one and ever being I see fit.

Something to note about the estate: The head of the house hold is linked to the land. And the reason our family name is Stormbringer is we have an affinity to storms. On any given day it is always dark and cloudy. But if we are in a very good mood there may be a maelstrom of thunderstorms going on. Or if we are in a particularly bad mood the sun would be shining and almost to hot to be outside. And yet with a bit of concentration on our part we can change the weather in either direction to suit the needs of our guests. The only place that doesn't seem to be affected by this affinity is the beach where it is never cloudy and always warm.
