It took a few days for Jason to recover from what could only be described as a zombie outbreak, and once he was feeling better and had the (somewhat) reassuring presence of Zanth in his head, he went to go locate a certain hunter which he had pretty much beat the s**t out of, much to his horror. He could still remember seeing the hunter pass out at his feat, and the more he recalled the more awful he felt about it. He needed to go find the hunter and make it up to the guy somehow. Although, he had no idea where said hunter was, so it was going to take a while to find him.

Jason was thinking, that was why he missed the sound of heel tapping against the floor got closer to him. The figure was tall with long slim legs wrapped in skinny pants, long bangs dyed in colorful neons and he was smiling. It was a bad thing Felicia didn't help him to get the little hunter that attacked him, he slowly forgot he was going to find him and teased him a bit as the cost when he engaged himself in spars again. Biting another firecracker from the loser, he spotted a blonde guy wandering around, at the corridor. Hands wrapping from behind slow and gentle, imitating the feeling that Catherine gave him, Ace pressed his head onto the top of the said hunter. "Look who I've caught, a vampire puppy." His voice revealed his good mood as he drawled with his words. His hands hung on Jason's shoulder still holding the chocolate, Lindt Chili. Hmm, that girl had not a bad taste.

The moment he felt someones hands around his shoulders Jason froze, his arms held up in surprise from the sudden contact. The hell?!?! And then he felt the warm pressure of someones head resting on his. For a second he thought it might have been Solia but then realized she was nowhere tall enough to do that. "..Uhhh...O-oh!" Whelp, he had found the guy he was looking for. And it became very clear that this guy was of the touchy feeling type.
"H-hello there..." The moon hunter stood there unsure of what to do, the nickname vampire puppy met with a frown.

Ace raised an eyebrow at the back of the Moon hunter, "Just a greeting, not even an apology?" Even though his words were sharp, he was smiling lazily. "So did I really steal your girlfriend huh?" He wanted an explanation. Waiting for his answer, he idly fiddled with his soft colored hair. So nice. At least not that soft. His another hand wasn't idle as well, he put the chocolate into his mouth, let the spices stimulate his senses. Jason was out of the fetter.

"N-no! I was trying to find you..to apologize" He hung his head a little, unable to catch the lazy smile from his position. "I'm r-really sorry what I did...I j-just had no control over my actions, And this irresistible urge to attack came over my senses..." The guilt was washing over him in waves. If he had attacked him any more..the hunter shuddered at the thought. And then he was asked about his girlfriend, while his hair was being played...Whyw as he playing with his hair?! Much cackling from weapon was heard. "N-no...no you didn't. I was just..under some sort of spell I think." He decided not to give out Solia's name, suddenly feeling very..possessive.

Ace's actions never will be explained, he just did what he liked, as if a young boy soul in a mature man body. "Hey hey, calm down, easy easy." Ace softly pacified, hands gently patted on Jason's tensed shoulders a few times. His voice was soft and deep. Jason also got a free massage on his rigid shoulder before he eased up. "A few things. First, I'm not angry, I don't get angry easily. Second, I'd like you to explain the whole thing. Third, I'm glad I didn't steal your girlfriend." Seeing the bench along the corridor, the tall guy pulled Jason over, pressing the nervous guy to sit down. "Ok, that's better." He crossed his long legs, he didn't mind being seen hanging behind another guy but he thought Jason would be. He was so jittery. "Alright, vampire puppy, tell me your name unless you're happy with that nickname I made and then say what the ******** was going on. I was lost in the dorms so I don't have any idea." Breaking the chocolate bar with his teeth and leaning against the bench in a cozy pose, Ace was readied for Jason the story-teller. "By the way, I'm Ace, Sun division trainee." He pointed to himself.

It was easy for Ace to tell him to calm down, but more difficult for the guilt ridden Jason to do. Though Ace didn't appear frazzled at all, but he did like giving his tense muscles a nice massage, managing to get some of the tension out of them. "O-okay then..." He blinked as the tall guy pulled him over to the bench, sitting down as instructed and watching Ace sit down next to him. "N-no, names are good" He really didn't want that nickname. "Jason Kenneth, moon division hunter. So you're new around here?" Another newbie, how bout that. As for what had been happening, even he was a little sketchy on the details. "W-well, from what I understand, the facility had somehow been locked down, and our weapons nullified. There was some sort of virus outbreak that pretty much turned some hunters into...z-z-zombies." God how he hated them. "Then one of the legacies showed up...Uhh, a very powerful artifact..."

"Yup, Jason, kinda - it has been a few months since I woke up." Ace shortly answered before the Moon hunter began his recall of memories. "God, zombies again. I'm sick of them after the mall mission." He waved a hand of dismissal. "Artifact? The red lights? I remembered your eyes were red. One of the - you mean there are more than one? ********, what the hell is going on this island?" He brushed his colorful bangs backward but smiling. He loved his life colorful, full of excitement and entertainment. "Does it happen all the time? Like dorm destruction, lock down or assault?"

Jason was sick of them after only see one, and he hadn't even been at the mall when the first outbreak had happened, being too busy in the infirmary at that time. "Y-yeah" He said, then nodded. "Yeah, there are a few items, though I can't tell you what they are or where are located. They seem to pop up of their own accord. I'm not even sure how many there are." He then looked at Ace worriedly. "I..had red eyes?" That was freaky. "...W-well, it happens more often then it should, but attacks on the island itself are...somewhat rare...or at least uncommon."

Ace frankly nodded, "Yup, your eyes were as red as rabbit, blood-shot and you bit me at my neck. Or - Why do you think I call you a vampire?" He took a teasing glance at Jason. "I felt like you wanna eat me alive." He shrugged, like what he was saying wasn't a big deal. He finished the chocolate, pinched the paper together and tossed into the rubbish bin. Then he stood up and stood in front of the vending machine. After checking what were available, he hissed, "What the ******** of all the soda? Jeez, water then." He hated sugary stuff and with no alternatives, he grabbed a bottle of water from it. "Want anything? It's on me." If he wanted another to give information, it was just a manner to offer a drink. "I don't accept no as an answer." As if to block his rejection in advance, Ace said that. "Alright, since a newbie knows nothing, any big things like that happened in the past?" He opened the bottle and poured down the water, some ran down his lips and flowed along his profile down to his clavicle. He pressed against his wet lips before heading back to his seat.

Ugh, that sounded horrible. Really horrible. Jason shuddered just thinking about it. "S-sorry." He couldn't believe he did such a thing
He was about to apologize again, but Ace had stood up and went to a vending machine. "You d-don't like soda?" He asked, before the offer a drink was given. He was about to decline said offer (Shouldn't he be the one to shout him a drink?) When he was told he wasn't allowed to. "J-just a coke would do then."
While Zanth kept bugging him to watch the water run down his neck, Jason thought about what had happened in the past. "Well, we've had insanity titans before, and there was the time the halloween students invaded us..." His face fell at the unwanted memories. "...U-uh we've had a huge insanity dragon in the abandoned towns for a while."

As he wanted a coke, Ace brought Jason a coke when he sat down again. "Nah, I said not a big deal. If you say that word again, I'm gonna bite you." He pointed around the area near his neck, a joke but intentional to stop him from apologizing. < This cute boil ♡> Ah~ Cat, he has a girlfriend already. He would agree on that though. "********, that sounds like movies. How long have you been on this island? What's insanity?" He guessed it would be better if he knew a little bit more, at least not completely ignorant.

"Thanks" He took the coke gratefully, flashing a worried glance at the trainee. "R...ight." He didn't want his neck to be bitten.

Opening the can with a crack, he sipped it's contents while listening to Ace. "I've been here a few years I guess. Sometimes it feels like forever, other times it's like only a few days have passed, it's really weird."
"Oh, and Insanity is..." Damn, how was he supposed to explain this? "I believe it's a by product of failed weaponization. corrupted FEAR that seeks to go...home. Wherever home is I wouldn't have a clue, but insanity creatures like to attack things and can infect other sources of FEAR, making more insanity creatures."

For Ace, it was much like switching from a smaller cage to a big one. Just this time, no one would be scared of him and his stories. They won't look at him like he was a monster. "Years....that's hard to imagine. So do you regard here as your home?" He nodded at the explanation of Insanity, "Sounds like a ******** virus." Ace didn't ask him to elaborate, Jason didn't look like the type that loved to talk about information and data. "I heard that the island was protected, how the Halloween students broke into this place?" He swirled the water bottle and peeked at the mini tornado formed.

"Y-yeah, I guess. I've been here for so long, it's the only way I can think of it." Either that or it was a prison, or even a hellhole. Either or. "Pretty much." Jason then replied. "A very dangerous one. As for how the students got in..." He frowned, " I b-believe they had help from the horsemen..." Oh, better elaborate what they were. "They're a section of halloween. Very, very dangerous, they just want us dead and they have very...creative ways of doing it I've heard." Thankfully his contact with them had been limited so far, but he doubted that would remain the case for long.
