Hobbies:
Eating ~ It's totally a hobby! He likes to sample a wide variety of foods and is quite daring when it comes to tasting something new. Unless it's just lettuce. Or carrots. Those foods make him think of a rabbit. And he'd really much rather eat the rabbit...
Painting ~ A hobby that can be a little difficult for a cat, he seems to manage quite nicely! It's not uncommon to find painted paw prints along the sidewalks. Or your house. And that wall over there might have someone actually painted on it... When not vandalizing your house, he's actually quite fond of finding sheets or stealing canvas that he can paint on, using his paws - and tail at times - to smear the paints around. A paintbrush held in his mouth allow him to add finer details to them.
Star-gazing ~ If he has some free time in the evening and the nights are cloudless, Jackson can be found laying or sitting around, staring up at the stars. This is one of the few times you can see the gentler side that he attempts to hide. When star-gazing, he is able to relax and put his mind at ease. Should you discover him like this though, you had better learn the meaning of, "RUN".
Virtues:
Protective ~ Though he may be a d**k most of the time, Jackson is extremely protective of those that are under his care. Or those that he has to babysit. His instinct to survive and protect makes him think quick in situations that might cause hesitation that can cost you something more than your pride. He does not freeze up when faced with a difficult opponent and is able to keep a clear head about him. This coupled with his stubborn nature means he refuses to lose without giving it his all. Not when it means your loss also means loss for someone else. This particular nature of his seems to be something that grows stronger the more attached to a person he becomes. Another one of those reasons he has a hard time acting as if he's not a nice guy that cares.
Stubborn ~ Perhaps linked to his strong survival instinct, he is one stubborn a** kitty. If he tells you to do something, you best do it. Because he's not changing his mind. And you shouldn't be questioning him in the first place, you imbecile! No, he's putting his paw foot firmly down and sticking with what he said. This stubbornness also gives him a strong drive to never give up. There is no room for failure. He will push you to your limits, if needed. As long as you don't throw in the towel. Because he never will unless it's his last breath. Needless to say, thanks to his stubborn a** nature, he can be quite difficult to deal with. However he will, on occasion, admit that he was wrong about something. Very rarely.
Shameless ~ Jackson is shaaameless. He does not know this word. If he wants something from you or is being exceptionally cheeky, he'll be right up in your personal space with complete disregard to if you want him there or not. Oh look, is your lap vacant? Well, that just won't do! He'll plant himself right in your lap and bat his eyes at you. Until you give him what he wants. Most likely your buffalo wings. If you blink and they are gone, well. Good luck catching this kitteh!
Flaws:
Anger Management ~ Attitude he's got in spares. It's fairly simple to piss him off and when you do, he'll have fur flying rather swiftly. Stupid people are the bane of his existence. Ask him a dumb question and he'll most likely claw you in the face. Show him any sort of hostility and he'll double it, making sure he comes out on top. Saying that he's got a 'short fuse' is fairly accurate. However he does try to reel it in every now and then. Jackson is perfectly aware that he's got a bit of an anger problem. He just doesn't always give a damn. But if he likes you, he'll try to be on his best behavior and usually can keep his cool much longer. Just don't step on his tail or ask him a dumb question.
Not very adaptable ~ One thing Jackson is not a huge fan of is change. He doesn't like having the carpet ripped out from under his feet and his life flipped upside down. Something about this makes a deep seated part of him ache and scares him a little. And he doesn't like to be scared, no sir! He'll never admit to it, however, and will more than likely grow more agitated if this happens to be the case. But fear change, he does. Though this doesn't seem to apply to anything in his personal living spaces. Those don't really bother him. He'll sleep just as easily on top of the dumpster as he would in your bed. Environmentally, though, he likes to have things one way and one way only. No earthquakes please!
Pervert ~ While not one of his most prominent traits, Jackson can be quite the little pervert when he's really bored - which is about ninety-eight percent of the time. His dirty mind never seems to cease. He can, almost certainly, find a way to make some situation look dirty or make an innuendo out of it. Especially when he's feeling exceptionally frisky. What? He has to find some way to amuse himself! Still, he does have some manners. Occasionally. During that two percent of the time he's not bored to death.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION : CAT FORM
Face/Ears: Ears are average in size and form almost perfect triangles when they are alert. They are pierced a few times. The backs of his ears are darker in color, similar to his tail. As for his face, it's typically scowling at you but is a surprisingly elegant red face with a cream colored muzzle. His right eye has scars running through it, blinding him in that eye, as well as a few along his muzzle.
Body: Adult with a slightly underweight body due to being a street cat for a portion of time. Big poofy tail. He's rather proud of it.
Fur: He has lovely dark red russet fur coat that lightens almost to a cream color along his stomach and is a little shaggy being considered medium in length. His fur runs darkest along his spine and down along his tail as well as behind his ears. His star mark is teal in color!
Eyes: Stormy blue with the right eye being a much paler blue due to it being blinded and a couple scars running through it.
Accessories: A black bandana with a red skull on it.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION : HUMAN FORM
Eyes: Stormy blue in color with the right eye being much paler due to being blind in that eye. A couple scars run through it as well. Usually always scowling.
Hair: When it flows freely, it reaches down to about the middle of his back. But he typically wears it pulled up. It is a dark cherry red in color (much like the dark fur on his cat form). His bangs usually are long enough to frame his face, with the right side tending to cover his blinded eye.
Face: Always scowling. Like he's mad at the world. Sort of angular face with scars running through his eye and down his cheek and another set across his nose.
Clothes: A combination of gothic, pirate, and almost vampiresque style clothing. Like this mixed with this just dark colors.
Extra: Jackson was an old guardian OC I used to have in another Sailor Moon shop (Moonlight Calibration), who I wanted to modify for this verse! Feel free to draw inspiration for him from here too!
