Towards the evening, all Mist Hunters received a text:
Text from Lance
It's that time again; report to the Mist Lounge and bring whatever it is you're working on and/or snacks and/or the latest gossip from the other divisions.
Even though the Mist Lounge had seen better days, it was still filled with its assortment of clutter that was requesitioned from the other divisons and ruins: chairs here, tables there. The only things missing was the once comfortable couch which was still in the hands of a certain Person Who Should be Nerfed in another division. And honestly the Mist didn't want it back.
Lance had claimed a rather comfortable looking chair, save for the fact that someone had the bright idea to make it bright lavender and add hot pink trim to it. His feet were up on the table in front of him as he stared at himself in a small hand mirror, running his fingers over a fresh scar that ran down one of his cheeks. The tell-tale click-clak of laptop keys indicated that someone else was in the room, however they were currently out of sight.
OOC: Welcome to the Mist Division meeting!
All players feel free to assemble themselves, at the 12-24 hour mark the meeting still start (if your character hasn't posted since then, no worries, it is AUTOMATICALLY ASSUMED they made it before the meeting started as long as your character is in Mist Division).
As an IC thing, and if you want, roll 1d100 with each post. If you match my dice or fall within 3 numbers from it, ~something may happen.~
ie say the number I rolled is 17. This means if you roll 14-20, you can quote me for a thing~
Gale wasn't back by the time she got the text; she could only hope the Death meeting wasn't literally composed of dying, or anything thematically close. Even after all these years, Stormy had to be just slightly optimistic enough to keep going.
She left the room and with soundless steps slunk into the Mist Lounge. Her first impulse was to approach Lance, but the scar gave her pause. It seemed they both had gone through some changes lately, scars only being the most obvious similarity. She worried. But their last meeting had been so long ago, and given their stances on Aria and Nevada...No, she had to keep it back. Not for the meeting. Be professional for now.
"Good to see you, Mr. Lance," she greeted him, leaning against a wall for now as they waited for the others to arrive. She was eager to see who was with them still. The faint tapping sound alerted her to a second person, and she wondered if maybe that was Sandy or a different Mist they would get introduced to today.
Noemi had just baked all sort of treats for the days. It was the only way to soother her nerves after the infection and the vines and the over all terribleness of the event.
As if waking to knighthood dreams wasn't bad enough. As she entered the room, she gently set down a array of cookies and baked goods and then took a seat in the back.
As far as mist hunters went, Scout and Stormy were the only ones she actually knew.

Dakota was on his way back to his room when the text message went off. He had at least the decency to take a shower after the mission before dropping off in the room.
He grinned as he saw Lance.
"Oi boss."
And that was it.

Even being one of the first to arrive, Feng didn't want to take seats from other mists who might arrive later. That left him standing awkwardly, hopefully out of the way, and shifting nervously from side to side.
He tugged at his sleeves and tried desperately to make it seem like he was patiently waiting and not a tall, looming shadow hovering anxiously.

Arorangi swept eagerly into the room, gave his Division leader a cheerful wave, patted Stormy on the shoulder, and then squeezed Noemi's hand gently in greeting as he took a seat beside her.
"Kia ora, kia ora!" he said brightly, beaming at everyone.
Scout was faced with a situation she'd been getting more and more accustomed to since coming to this island.
She knew absolutely nobody.
That was terrifying, and it led to Scout cowering in a corner, trying both not to look out of place AND not to look like she was trying too hard. The result was that she looked incredibly uncomfortable and anxiety ridden.
Fresh out of the infirmary and feeling much better (especially because he was out of the infirmary, which was a dreadful place), Tommy strode into the room with a large smile on his face.
"Helllllooo, everybody!" He piped up, cheerfully. "Is it not a beautiful day today?"
Anyone who greeted him got a grunt and an idle wave before Lance went back to fussing over his reflection. Tommy, at least, managed to get a side-long look from the leader before Lance turned his attention back onto himself. Anyone near him could possibly hear him mutter something about the gender ratio...
(( HAHAHA GUESS WHO FORGOT TO ROLL A NUMBER FOR YOU GUYS TO MATCH/FALL NEARRRRRR ))

Noemi smiled awkwardly at Aro, giving him a gentle pat on the back of his hand.
"You are in good mood today Aro?" It had been awhile since she had seen the hunter, so it was good to know he was still here.

Overhearing Lance, she chuckled inwardly and tried not to reminisce.
She watched them pile in, perking when she recognized them all one way or another--Twitter was a great way to stalk those that liked to post, while others like Noemi and Dakota had suffered her personally. Her uncharacteristically expressionless face softened as her cousin set out cookies, enough space loosened to create a smile as Arorangi patted her shoulder. She glanced between the two fresher faces, trying to recall names again--ah. Tommy and Scout. Feng's took longer, if only because he seemed to prefer hiding in the underwater facility more than the main one on the island.
She wondered briefly if Candace or Leslie would be joining them this time. If the latter didn't, Stormy made a note to pay a visit after the meeting.
Noting that several of them were anxious, and deciding the meeting was in need of some ice breaking, she took Noemi's platter and began to make a slow circle around, offering it up to those interested in a cookie. "Thanks for coming everyone," she said sincerely, her soft voice at ends with her rougher appearance. "My name's Stormy, if you don't already know. D'you guys want to go around and introduce yourselves, since we have a few new faces?"
Only belatedly did she realize something felt off, and she reached into her pocket with a free hand to check.
Noemi watched in surprise as Stormy took her platter and handed the cookies out. Of course she felt timidly anxious and hoped that everyone at least enjoyed the treats she had made.
She would've responded to her cousin but her eyes fell to the other mist hunter, like herself, who was hiding out in the back.
Scout would find a cute little Noemi taking her hand and pulling her over to her seats next to Aro and herself.
"here here Scout." She whispered, "Come meet Aro. He's really nice, I promise!"

Scout was both alarmed and relieved to see her friend sitting at the table and gesturing her over. There was nothing more relieving than seeing a familiar, welcoming face in a crowd of people. Not for Scout anyways. She could have done without her body getting tugged towards the crowd, but Noemi was Noemi.
Stormy's call for introductions had Scout nervous and scooting even closer to Noemi, as though the other shy girl would let her sap off some of her cheerfulness. "Ah, hello there," she said to Aro, pulling at her ponytail and taking a seat on the opposite side of Noemi.
"She tells me you're very nice." Scout was a charmer alright.
Well, she supposed it would bave to happen soo er or later. A meeting.
Momo was accustomed to band meetings sure, but a Division meeting was something else. Who knew what was suppose to go on at these things? Well certainly not her that was for sure.
She entered the room with a wave to no one in particular. "Yo." Moving towards an empty chair, she flopped into it stretching out her legs her bright red boots made a thump against the ground as she crossed her ankles.
