IC
True blood she may be, Ilyra soon began to find out that not everyone believes her. Her albinoism almost makes her look like a wind alkidike hybrid to many people; especially the extremists. Ilyra found herself cornered one day, confronted by a pair of Alkidikes. They were about her age or maybe a bit younger, and while unarmed, their posture was aggressive.
"You're not welcome here hybrid." One spat; apparently they had decided that Ilyra was a hybrid and - like all other hybrids - needed to be kicked out of town.
Quest Tasks ||. The quest should start with her being confronted by two sisters. ||. She will need to deal with them somehow; whether with violence or words is up to owner. ||. If she fights them off, she'll find out that they are prentices; tall for their age but basically untrained. ||. If she tries to talk to them, one will refuse to listen, the other may be convinced to leave. The one who refuses to leave will try to start a fight. ||. She will need to prove she is fullblooded to the aggressive one somehow. ||. Quest should end with her leaving and the pair either having been beaten off or convinced she is not a hybrid.

The Confrontation It was soon time for celebration, and Ilyra couldn't be more excited. She always loved when everyone came home to worship Aisha. Well not always, when she was young and living with her first mother she hadn't been permitted to leave the house and be with the other sisters, but since living with Briella she hadn't missed a year of it. Plus she was sure that this year would be better then any before it. Before she was the only pureblood that looked different, but now she had Aselia. The girl was a mystic and there was no doubt that she was pure, she just looked different. Just like Ilyra. However her last few days on the island didn't seem to be going very well. All was well when she was with Briella, not many would face the warrior head on or risk angering her, but when she was not by her mother's side things often went astray.
"You're not welcome here hybrid."
She rolled her eyes as she continued walking towards the shore of the island. She didn't want any kind of trouble and often found that ignoring those who wished to question her blood status worked better then saying anything to them.
"Are you deaf or just stupid? She said you aren't welcome here. This is a time for purebloods only. We don't want your dirty blood here."
Great so there were two of them. From the sound of their voices they weren't elders, or even older then her, but she would have assumed that due to the fact that most older sisters had more tact then what the two voices were currently displaying. Plus, calling her dirty was a childish thing to do. Who even called people names like anymore? That was youngling talk, though she was sure the voices didn't belong to younglings. She continued to walk, hoping that soon they would drop this stupid game they were playing and leave her be. For a while they were silent, and she thought it was over. That was until she felt a rock collide with her side. With narrowed eyes she froze. This was no longer a game.
Turning around she faced the two sisters, looking the in the eye one at a time. She wasn't sure of their age, they were pretty big, but that didn't mean much. Her albinism made her on the short side for her race so although she assumed the girls were her age there was no way short of asking them to be sure. "Who threw that at me?" she asked as calmly as she could. It wasn't that it hurt, because it didn't, but she had not been attacked on her island since she was very young and she wasn't about to let it happen to her now. Plus they couldn't throw things at people because said people were different. She wasn't a hybrid, but it wouldn't be okay for them to throw things at her even if she was.
"Does it really matter hybrid? Neither of us want you here. No one wants you here. Your kind aren't welcome here, and if you don't leave it's going to just get worse for you and your kind."
This was the second voice, she was sure of it, and the bigger of the two. Looking them over once more she realized it was very likely that she would be more of a problem then the other sister. Mostly because she was feisty, but also because when it came to size Ilyra did not want to fight her.

Abimbola "Okay. So there are many many things wrong with what you've just done, and what you've just said." She paused for effect and to make sure they were really paying attention to her. When the bigger girl looked like she was about to start talking Ilyra started speaking again. "To start with my kind is you. I am not a hybrid, however even if I were I would still be your kind. Where do hybrids come from? Mother Aisha. Where do purebloods like you and I come from? Mother Aisha. So we are the same kind." The girl started to speak and Ilyra raised a hand. "I'm not done speaking. The fact that you threw a rock at me is wrong. Even if I was a hyrbid I did nothing to you, and violence is only right when it's in self defense or in defense of someone." she was about to keep talking, the smaller of the two sisters seemed to be actually listening, when the bigger one decided that she would remain silent no longer.
"You are wrong. Wrong and a liar. It's obvious that you aren't like us, that you aren't pure. Look at your skin. It's clear that one of you parents are eathlings, wind by the looks of it." she spit on the floor. "Abimbola I think we need to teach this hybrid a lesson. What do you think?" the smaller girl hesitated and looked from Ilyra to the bigger girl. Ilyra took this as an opportunity to try to win her over.
"Abimbola, that's a beautiful name. Now you don't to listen to her. You look like a smart girl and I'm sure your mother or mothers taught you better then this. My one birth mother, who by the way is just as pure as I am," she looked at the bigger as she said this before returning her gaze to Abimbola "made sure that I knew right from wrong. I can feel it in my soul when I'm doing something wrong, I see it as a message from Aisha herself. I'm sure that you get the same feeling, and I can bet that you are feeling it right now."
Abimbola looked back at the larger girl. It seemed that she didn't feel as strongly as she once did. "Jaz, what if she is telling the truth. What if she is pure..." Abimbola's voice trailed off.
"I am telling the truth, my skin is this color because of a skin condition called albinism. As you can see I have no stones, or any earthling features." she wanted to argue that it shouldn't matter if she was pure or not, ever sister belonged on the island, but she figured she would deal with one problem at a time.
"Abimbola are you kidding? A few kind words and you are ready to turn tail? I thought you were stronger then that." she sneered that the other girl.
Ilyra knew that kind words were better to gain followers, friends, but it seemed that Jaz didn't know that.
"I am strong, but she is right. There is something wrong here... If she is telling the truth... What will Aisha think?" Abimbola started to take a step backward.
"Ah, weakling. Go. I'll carry out our mother's wishes. I'll deal with you later." Jaz waved her hand at the other girl as Abimbola ran off and then turned to Ilyra. "You will pay for this."

Jaz As soon as Abimbola was out of the way Jaz turned and stared at Ilyra. "You will pay for this." she repeated. "You may have swayed her with your words, but I know the truth. I know the truth about you and I also know that this place needs to be purged of your kind."
Before Ilyra could say anything Jaz was running towards her. She threw her weight at Ilyra and it didn't take much for the two of them to be on the floor. At first Ilyra was worried, she was much better with a bow then without one, but she soon realized that the girl she was fighting was not much then just that. A girl. The moves she used was juvenile, and it was clear she had nothing more then the most basic of training. She was big for her age, but lacked the experience that Ilyra had.
Soon Ilyra had her pinned to the floor, Jaz's hand's behind her back. She was still struggling, but Ilyra had her in a pretty good grasp. "How old are you?" she asked as the girl struggled. It seemed although Jaz had a lot to say before, now she was speechless.
"Oh come on, now you have nothing to say. This is stupid. Your behavior is shaming us all. As a daughter of Aisha you should know better then behave like this." she said letting go of the girl and backing up. Now that she realized that she was much more skilled then the other girl she didn't have a problem letting Jaz free.
Quickly Jaz was on her feet, wiping the dirt from her skin. "Lies! It is you who shame's Aisha. Shames us all! You and your dirty blood!"
Ilyra rolled her eyes. There were two ways to fix this. One she could beat up Jaz until she got the message, which she was sure would only work temporarily, or she could somehow convince Jaz that she was pureblooded. She wasn't sure how to do that though. At once she realized there was a way. She grabbed Jaz's wrist. "I'm going to prove it too you."
She dragged the girl towards Aisha, towards where the elders were. Jaz was fighting her, and although she was strong for her age she wasn't stronger then Ilyra. "Let go! Let go! Let go of me or you'll pay!" Jaz screamed as she struggled to get her wrist free. People looked at the pair of them oddly, but no one stopped to help Jaz.
Once they were at one of the elders house Ilyra stopped and let go of Jaz's hand. They were at the house of Masego, one of the elders that were a friend of her birth mothers. "Go. Ask her. Masego was one of the elders that were with my birth mother when she asked for me. She was there the whole time and she can tell you that I'm just as pure as you."
Jaz looked at Ilyra hard before going into the hut. Ilyra sat down, content to wait until this whole mess was sorted out. She deserved an apology, and she was going to wait for one.

The Outcome Time passed and Ilyra was getting tired. She knew Masego was a busy women, but she was sure that she would talk to Jaz. She was closing her eyes when she heard the hut open. Jaz came out, her face towards the floor.
Ilyra stood. "Well. What did she say. Do our stories match?"
Jaz couldn't look at her, and that was answer enough for Ilyra.
"Look Jaz, what you did today was wrong. Not just because I'm a pureblood, but because you don't do that to other people. Especially not other sisters. Even hybrids are one of us. I think that you need to go have a long talk with mother Aisha. Now, before that you owe me something." Ilyra's hands found her way to her waist.
Jaz looked up, her eyes meeting Ilyra's for the first time since coming out of the hut. "Although I still don't agree with you. I don't think that hybrids belong here, or that they are one of us, I do believe that you are pure. That you are one of us. So I'm sorry for attacking you."
Ilyra sighed. No there was no point in Jaz getting only half the lesson.
"I will go to talk to Aisha though. You and Masego have given me things to think about."
Ilyra smiled at that. "That's all I can ask for. Please talk to her. I think you will see that Aisha doesn't think that way. That she sees us all as equals. All as her daughters."
Jaz nodded and turned to go, apologizing once again. Once she was gone Ilyra turned to go into Masego's hut. She had to thank the elder for helping her out of that one. If the elder hadn't stepped in she was sure that things would have gotten very very messy. She didn't want to fight anyone, especially not a sister, but she wondered if she would have to again sometime soon. With more and more sisters coming to the islands it would be dangerous to her. However she wouldn't back down. Aisha was her mother, and this was where she belonged.
