Zyk fell into a dive, neatly avoiding the regurgitated poison with his speed. He aimed to crash directly into his opponent.

Zyk hit true, but the same couldn't be said of Merope. Points for trying, though! Another Sludge Bomb escaped her maw.

One advantage of Merope's dizzy flight was that it made her path erratic and hard to follow. She tilted out of his way (though, alas, it wasn't on purpose) and continued her attack.

Zyk seemed to swell with pride at his trainer's encouragement and, despite his head beginning to get sore, continued his attack.
