The door to the public infirmary area was quite far from where her bed was, yet, having no one visiting she was bored. Especially when she saw others getting visitors and things. Her body aches, her heart hurt. She didn't need to be reminded she was alone and she didn't like that.

Locating the noise, she bore with the sore pains to peek at the door. Then she excitedly waved, "Over here, thanks for coming. I didn't expect someone would really come to visit!" The amber colors of her eyes dimmed a little when her word ended.

"So - nice to meet you, I'm Shu, intermediate hunter from Death division. And you?"

"Thanks for coming, Clyde. Take a seat." The petite Asian sat up, putting the pillow at her back and gestured the chair. The area belonged t her was empty, it was told that no visitors so far.

Rather than leaning against the pillow, she had her knees up and pushed herself forward. "We don't only check Twitter when bored, it's our daily life, we use it for gossips, collecting information and socializing." She explained, as a Death hunter, collecting information was their responsibility.

Shu felt excited to talk to someone, she didn't talk to anyone face-to-face for a while. "How do you think about the new life? Have you get a room yet? Anything you want to know? Let's chat." She bombed the moon trainee with questions like a bird chirping at the window of your bedroom in early morning.

"Where do you come from? I am from Asia!" There she began the conversation. If there was no more visitors, Clyde will be clung onto having a chat until he said he need to go.

Shu clapped her hands together for the exciting emotion. "Grand Canyooooon! So you're a traveler, so cool! I haven't been to other places in the past. I heard that the sunset here is marvelous, have you taken any photos? Camping there sounds dangerous, did you go there with anyone or just yourself?" Her mouth slightly opened, surprised.

"I heard the basement floor is fine, the third floor actually got most of the damage. I am living in the basement as well, it's easy to recognize, I put glowing stickers on the door." Beaming, she fiddled for the glass of water on the cabinet. Her lips looked dry and her throat felt uncomfortable, no visitors meant she didn't open her mouth to speak at all.

Taking a sip, she talked. "I came from China, the place well known for panda, Great wall, Qipao and DRAGONS." She counted them with her fingers. "Where I came from, however just like normal city in your place. So I basically know Mandarin and Cantonese, plus English and Japanese. What are your hobbies? I love ACG stuff and cosplaying and eating desserts, I can eat that as a meal." She giggled childishly in a happy way.

She enjoyed his adventure and chin handed with a tilted little head. "Oh you didn't bring it with you? It was rush when they found you?" She recalled how they approached her and gave her a few days to prepare everything, she might be just lucky. "Peaceful....um, you might love the cliff then. It has sea breezes, good view of the ocean and fresh air. It's near the beach." Shu suggested one of her favourite places, where she flew paper planes for feeling and inner sustenance.

"You make a face that tell me you know which my room is." The bright quick-witted looked at Clyde, she was good at observation, except the time she wanted to ignore something.

It seemed that Clyde's past life was rather colorful, he even had an online blog. She also had facebook account and xanga before, but they were probably locked up. "My sisters used to help me to prepare my costume but -" She didn't say it, because they were all the same, chose to leave their homeland, cut the links with their family and no longer exist in the normal world.

"I see, I love to do sports with my sister too, she's an athlete. Travelling sounds great, as a hunter, we can go to any place with the portal, isn't that great?" She opened and raised up both of her hands, making a "yay" universally used action. "Ah!" She suddenly said, "But only for leaves, you can't run away from missions and go sightseeing." The girl childishly held a finger and said it like a friendly reminder.

If Clyde was observant, he would notice Shu loved to talk about her family, especially her siblings. "Character of japanese animes! Especially short cute girl characters like Uni from KHR, Gijinka of Charlotte the Witch, Mirai Kuriyama from Kyokai no Kanata....um," she peeked at Clyde, seeing above his head a big question mark and so she listed some more everyone known characters, "Chibiusa from Sailor Moon and Kiki from Kiki's Delivery too." She shortened the list.

"I should learn how to sew, I think." She missed the days she being another character, had a little experience of their lives. "How about you? Do you like cosplaying?"

"China is very big, Clyde, it's now holding 1.38 billion of people. Where I was living in the past was just a small city, a tiny tiny dot on the map." She held her hand into a fist to stress its small size. "Anyway if you want to visit one day, I will be your tourist guide, I promise." She sat straight and patted on her flat chest.

Her eyes sparkled with his reply to anime, "Did you trying marathoning? Like watching for hours. Haha, sometimes people go to con as cosplay teams, like each of them being one of the characters from the show, like D.Gray-man and Full Metal Alchemist, their uniforms are sooooo cool!" She was excited and raised her voice unintentionally. "Busy? You were a student or working at the moment they recruited you?" Recalling the past time, she didn't think it could be called busy.

"Clyde." She suddenly sighed, "I think you already knew from the orientation, you should stay away from our family and people from the past. Deus faked our death and it would be troublesome to be spotted. To them, we're ghosts, it would disturb their peaceful lives." Shu closed her eyes and re-opened them with a smile, "So even if it's interesting, I would prefer avoiding regions too close to my previous home." She used the word previous as Deus became her home.

"Oh Lord of the rings! You watched all of them at once? Wow....that's a brave move." She couldn't remember how many times she nodded during the second movie of it and found herself rested on her brother's arm when it ended. Thus Shu gave a thumb up to Clyde.

She clicked her tongue in light disapproval, "Busy is quite a versatile word, it can mean in good way or bad way. In your case, I think you have been living your life to the fullest!" She beamed like a little light bulb. "So did you make cosplay before? What do you cosplay as?"
