They had made it. it hadn't been a easy trip, but the couple had finally reached where she once lived. Standing alone the ruined edges of the place she once called home Lasarra was filled with many emotions. She was mad that this all happened, realized that her soon to be husband had gotten all of her animals into safe hands, and sad at the loss of her home. This hadn't been her first home, but it had been the first one that she called her own. It had been the one in which she raised animals in. And now it was nothing.
"Well... I don't think we can live here." she said with a half hearted smile as she looked up at Rayolun. "It had been kind of small though..." small for what she had in mind for the two of them anyways. It would have fit just them fine, even with their creatures, but she had hoped it wouldn't always be just the two of them.

Rayolun wrapped his arms about her in a hug, resting his head chin on top of her head. His heart hurt seeing the half hearted smile; he knew how much pain it urt losing a home.. though in his case he'd found it again when he'd found her. "We can.. rebuild it. Make it a bit bigger. Add a barn for more animals?" He offered, knowing that she was hurting but not sure how to help. "I've never tried to build a house before..." The idea actually sounded.. fun. Build a house for them... a home he made with his own hands. "Maybe add in some extra rooms," he mused out loud.

She cuddled into him, feeling better right away. He had that wonderful effect on her, of making her feel completely safe and happy by just touching her. She wondered how she had ever lived without him.
She nodded at his suggestions. "Neither have I, I mean I helped expand it a little before but nothing serious." he trailed off and his next few words had her turning around in surprise. It wasn't like they hadn't talked about getting married, having children, but that was before everything had happened. She knew they were still going to be together... But it was just so pleasurable to hear him talking about kids as if he had read her mind.
She wrapped her arms around him. "I think a few extra rooms sounds... Fun." she winked. Children would be fun, creating the children... Well that would be very enjoyable.

Rayolun was grateful his darker skin hid his blush. He hadn't meant to say that out loud! He hadn't wanted to move to fast, considering she may have been hurt still from her captivity. But apparently that was a foolish thought; the grin and winked reassured him a lot. Guess she wouldn't mind having children if she was hinting? "It's just a thought... guests and all that. Family might come to visit." He said, trying to maintain a straight face as a smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "Storage rooms too. Can always use extra rooms." It made him feel happy, to be able to tease and smile like this again.

She laughed at him. "Oh yes guests. They need a few rooms. Like when my sisters children decide they are mad at their parents and want to stay with us." she ran her fingers up and down his arm. Two could play the game that he was playing. She could already see the laughter bubbling side of him.
"Hell, storage rooms are important. To put all my supplies. There are plenty of reasons why we should have more rooms... Such as bathing rooms?" she preferred to bathe outside, but she knew some people had rooms in their house for bathing. She wondered how many different kinds of rooms they could name before they got to what they were really talking about. Or at least what she assumed they were talking about.

"Mmm... they can use the streams to bathe in like everyone else." Rayolun said with a smirk. They referred to anyone staying over and maybe children... "I can always build us an outdoor bathing pool if you really want one. Shouldn't be too hard right? Rooms also for Rownin and Eino so they don't get rained on. Also an extra large room for us." He bent slightly so he could kiss her, "And maybe children, yes?" He said, his voice slightly husky hen he released her. "If you want to wait a while, I'm fine though... Um.. I would like to have a family with you. Children. Several of them probably. I did always want siblings growing up, so... several children would be.. nice." He asked, slightly nervous.

She reached up to kiss him, expecting him to go on with more useless rooms instead of getting to the point. But he surprised her with what he said next. She pulled his face towards hers and kissed him hard. When she pulled away a smile was plastered on her face. "I don't want to wait any longer then it would take us to build our home. We can fill all the rooms with all the children you could possible want." she teased.
"I was also an only child for some time, and finding my sister was incredible. I agree that things get lonely without siblings." it was hard to even imagine how sad she had been in the past, the happiness that was filling her seem to not just blot it out but erase it complexly.

He chuckled, slightly abashed by her enthusiasm. "Well.. maybe one for now and then more later? I've no idea how to care for a child..." He was sure they'd learn how to though. Surely it couldn't be that hard right? His uncle had raised him out in the wilderness. Here in a safer place it would be easier right? "My uncle always mentioned something like a... wedding ceremony.. What is it?" He had some vague ideas that it was a ceremony of some sorts for lovers but was not too sure. "Is that something we should do?"

She nodded. "Yes, so we make all the mistakes with the first one and then know all there is to know about raising the next." she was sure she could go to her mother, or even her sister, for advice on how to raise a child. They both did a good job, or well she assumed her sister was going a good job. "My mother did it alone, as did your uncle, so I'm sure the two of us will manage well."
She nodded. "I've never been to one, but I've heard about them. I'm sure my sister would know more." she hadn't be raised around a lot of earthlings, and she was sure that it was different for them. He hadn't either, which was one of the things she loved about him. It was an oddity they had in common. "I don't know if we should or should not, but I would like it. We could invite our families."

He smirked; "All I know is that the girl gets to dress up in fancy dresses or something! I wouldn't mind seeing that! And.. Well I could always invite Gerraden as well as Uncle. That way it's not just all your family." He mused to himself a bit; He would like to see his self proclaimed brother again.. see if Gerr's amusing courtship had been going well. "We should go to Kelina's house and crash there for a while while we rebuild our house and plan this. That way we can pester her with questions and see how she takes care of her kids." He chuckled and looked down at Lasarra, running his hand through her hair with a smile. "Do you know where she lives? I know she's... near here but nothing more. Unless you don't mind living in the tree's for a while... I can do either." Kelina had offered to let him live there or visit when they last parted. And maybe Suaron was there so he could ask the fellow shifter questions on child rearing and how to behave in villages.

"Pretty dress? Count me in. I'm assuming you'd have to dress up as well. That's something that I would like to see as well." she teased. She had never been one to dress up much, it made moving more difficult, but for an occasion like that she wouldn't mind. Plus it wasn't like she would have to fight in the dress. "Yes of course, I haven't seen either of them in some time so it would be nice. I think it would be the first time that we have all of our family together." she mused out loud.
At the suggestion of staying with her sister she frowned. She had lived with her sister for a while, but that was before Kelina had a family of her own to look after. She wouldn't want to be a burden on her sister. However he was right, she would like to see how Kelina handled having children. "I think that's a great idea. We can stay with her and Suaron for a while, and then if we feel like we are becoming a burden or anything we can move to the trees." she wouldn't mind living in the trees with him in the very least.

"Wait.. I have to dress up to?" He sighed. "But I like my comfy clothes." He chuckled and looked at the ruins in front of them and the trees beyond it. His mind already thinking on how to build in the trees. "It won't be for long so I don't think we'll be too much a burden. And there is always the trees." He shrugged. Where the live didn't bother him too much; he could live almost anywhere. "Hmm.. about the house.. do you want to... rebuild here?" Would she want to live in a place that had been burned down once already? "I was thinking maybe a.. dual house? One on the ground, and a second layer in the trees? That way we can have the animals on the ground but keep a place in the trees. I'd feel more comfortable in a tree house." He returned to the earlier topic, wanting to leave the wedding behind until he knew more. It was enough to know she wanted it; he'd go out and figure out what to do soon enough.

She laughed. "I like your comfy clothing also, but if I have to dress up then you also need to dress up." she said reaching up and kissing his nose. She was already excited just thinking about him all dressed up.
"Oh?" she assumed that it would take some time to build, but she could be wrong. It didn't take a lot of time for her and her sister to build on Kelina's home when she first moved in. People were more willing to help then also, so she assumed that they would again.
She looked at where her former home had been. "I think we are safe here..." though on could never be too sure she felt this place was as safe as anywhere else. "As long as you are okay with being here so am I. And that sounds good to me. I love being in the trees as well, but the one on the ground is necessary for the animals. This place isn't far from the tree line either, so it would work if we do stay here."

"Hmm... I can build something simple but I bet we can get some help from your villagers.. or Sauron if no one else!" That man his own house, so perhaps he knew how to build them? "Probably going to need to plan it out...." He rubbed a hand along his lightly bearded chin as he thought. "Stairs or ladders... How many rooms? You think three rooms, a kitchen and family room for the upstairs and maybe only two rooms and a storage or pens on the ground?" He was getting excited by the planning; he'd get to make his own home.. his first real permanent home... A thought occurred to him; "You know.. the festival is coming up... I bet I can find a lot of people willing to help... since festivals always put people into happier and helping moods."

She nodded eagerly. "Of course, I think once we know exactly what we want and where we want it everyone will help." as he talked out the plans she smiled. This whole thing was just wonderful. A house of their own that was built by their own hands, it would be much better then her old house. "And maybe a small basic kitchen down stairs also. You know so I can prepare their foods without having to go back and forth."
When he spoke about the festival her face fell. She had forgotten all about what time it was. She would normally be getting ready to go and see Aisha. "About the festival... I think. I think this year I should stay here with you." she said as she looked down to the ground. She'd always gone back home when she could, but this time was different. She was pretty sure that it wasn't safe for hybrids like her back home.
