Zinnia and Zebo entered the stadium together. "Do your best," the girl said to the liepard. Zebo purred and rubbed his head against her hand before leaping into his position on the field. Zinnia waved a friendly greeting to her opponent on the other side of the field.

After entering the stage Zak waved back giving a bit of a smile in the process. The Ninetales he planned on using in this battle was following behind him, keeping his tails from touching the ground.
"Mark, no matter what you do you are bound to get dirty in this battle." he told the fox pokemon. "I'll take you to the groomers after this if you do your best."
"Nine," the ninetales responded, however kept his tails from hitting the ground. Leaping into the stage he shook his fur slightly, trying to keep it from getting too ruffled.

Zak shook his head at how Mark was acting. The ninetales never grew out of it, the fact that he cared about really nothing other then keeping his fur straight and perfect.
"Mark lets start off with Confuse Ray!" he called out.
The Ninetales let off a blinding light aiming at the Cat pokemon in front of him.

The liepard was thoroughly confused, but he tried to yawn at the ninetails.

Seeing the other hit itself with its own move, Zak decided to go a bit on the defensive. "Safeguard"

Once again the cat pokemon hit itself in confusion. Good, it this was going great. He always liked confusion, although it was quite unpredictable at times.
"Mark Use Flamethrower next."
To the ninetales this battle was quite easy. He really didn't have to do a thing in the chance of dodging the other, as it seemed the other was attacking itself. Taking a breath in, he released a fiery attack from his mouth aiming at the cat pokemon.
