 Today Sugar Petal was going out for a walk. She had no hidden purpose behind it – not even to gather plants! She was, for the first time in a long while, going to take an evening for herself. The stroll was leisurely, taking her through the bakery's and around the hair salons and eventually leading her up to the... the what? She spotted a bridal store, but next to it was the cutest little shop that had gorgeous flowers in the window. A flower store? Well, that'd make sense considering it was basically next door neighbors to a bridal store!
She paused, peeking at the flowers and event meandering up to the window to press her face against the glass. Oh, there were some she was dying to get her hands on. Maybe if she asked her mom she could get one? Oh... could she go in? Was it open?

 Hidden Hearts had actually run next door for a quick visit with the proprietor of the bridal shop. She stepped outside and was greeted with the image of an adorable foal with her nose pressed to her window. She'd always thought her particular services weren't really up a child's alley so maybe the girl was confused. A soft smile formed on her lips and she stepped carefully towards her door. "M-m-mmay I help you?"

She had been so entranced by the store front that when a mare walked up she was completely caught off-guard, jumping when the voice rang out. Flushing almost immediately, she pulled her long strand of hair into her face in an attempt to hide behind it, eyes flicking from the flowers to the mare. Were these hers? Her nerves almost immediately vanished – no one who had such a lovely display could be dangerous!
Except one person. She instantly suffocated that memory before it could ruin the evening, instead giving her full attention to the mare.
"Oh! I was just looking at your beautiful flowers. What are they? Are they in stock now?"

The filly's immediate reaction of hiding behind her hair was one that Hidden Hearts was all too familiar with and, not wanting to intimidate the younger phony more, she lowered herself to sit on the sidewalk and be closer to a foal's size. Her mouth was curled into a warm, if slightly confused, smile and she looked to the flowers on display in her window. "Oh! I can see how you w-w-would think that. They're just lovely d-displays I ordered to bring some sunshine into m-my shop. I don't sell flowers."

She actually felt relieved when the older mare settled down onto the sidewalk, as if any threat the stranger could poise was immediately null. Children were silly that way, and she was not an exception. Her ears perked up at the confession, head turning to view the flowers before she slowly returned her gaze back at the mare. What? Really? But they were so beautiful! Then what did she sell, anyway?
"Oh." Her voice came out thoughtful as she attempted to peek back at the store, not really finding anything to answer her question. Settling down to sit on the sidewalk, the filly absently curled her hair around her hoof in thought. "Well, what do you sell?" Maybe it was something flower related? Like gardening supplies?

Hmmm, how does one explain matchmaking to a child? She thought about it carefully before answering. "Well," she started off slowly, "sometimes when an adult gets really lonely and they're too shy or too busy to find somephony special to spend the rest of their life with they come to me. I get to act like Cupid and set them up on dates with others that have the same hobbies, interests, and views on things as they do. Hopefully it'll end as a good match and they'll find true love together. It's called matchmaking." She nodded to the window displays of her store. "That's why I have so many nice flowers in the window. It helps keep things relaxed and pleasant to be in." Yushika GOD THIS TOOK SO LONG I'M SO SORRY

Sugar Petal slowly settled onto her haunches, her head slowly tilting to the side as Hidden Hearts spoke, eyes drifting to the flowers here and there curiously. Nodding absently, the little filly flicked her ears back, head tilting to the other side.
"What if you can't find them a match?" She asked, nose wiggling. "Are they alone.... forever?" Her tone dropped, face morphing into a sad frown at the idea.
