With a grunt of displeasure Gael shifted the satchel on his shoulder just a bit. For some reason he was being demoted to errand boy for his aunt. She'd told him that she needed something delivered to a friend of hers and he was to take it. The young matori hadn't been too pleased. Why couldn't one of his siblings take it? Sadly his aunt had insisted it be him so he obliged; not happily mind.

Keeping a steady pace he walked along the road that would lead him to his eventual goal. Not that he was too pleased with the idea of his destination. Gael's aunt was sending him into Oba. The last place he wanted to be. Still, he could enjoy Matori scenery along the way. After all, the boreder was still a ways off.

L'lhynd had seen the other Matorian coming up the road and had been watching him for a while now. He was seated on a good sized boulder, just watching those that travelled the road. He had been traveling along it himself, but before long he'd needed to seek solace from the sun which felt hotter than usual. Drier somehow, probably just in his mind though. He was traveling close to Oban territories and it made him nervous… but he couldn't pass up the info of Quhar for nearly half of what they were normally sold. A pack animal would be… one of the best things L'ljynd could start his journey out with.

Still, his outfit wasn't ideal for the massive amount of heat he felt wrapping around his body. Whether this was what everyone felt, or he was simply imagining it due to his bad nerves… was left to be found out. He pulled at his cowl and finally pushed the hood off of his head. He was feeling,,, slightly better when the other Matorian got close enough for him to get a better view of the garments he was wearing.

They were interesting, and L'lhynd wanted to inspect them closer… it was too bad that would be deemed something weird. So he simply waited for the Matorian to walk in front of the rock, because that would offer the best view.

He kept walking, muttering to himself about the unfairness that his aunt had shown. After all, the task could have easily been given to his older brother, but no. Gael shook his head and sighed. The woman confused him more than anything. Her husband had been taken by Obans and yet she still communicated with one of the fire tribe. Shouldn't she hate them? No matter which way he looked at it his aunt never truly showed a mean bone.

Deciding to leave the topic alone, as he was only likely to give himself a headache, he looked up at the road ahead of him and noticed someone sitting on a rock. If his orange eyes didn't deceive him it looked like another matori. This had him arching one parted brow in curiosity. Were they simply resting from their travels or waiting for someone. He tightened his grip on the satchel's strap. Last thing he wanted was to explain to his aunt that it had been stolen.

L'lhynd could see the matorian's lips moving when he was close enough, but he heard nothing. It was clear the other Matorian was upset or annoyed at something... but what didn't really concern L'lhynd. What he cared about was getting his hands on that beautiful top, if only for a look. But as he was trying to study the garment in it's constant movement forward his eyes caught the other matorian's hands, tightening and holding some satchel more securely.

Of course this other male had no way of knowing L'lhynd's character... and of course L'lhynd didn't really like socializing or being too nice to others because it was exhausting... but he wasn't a thief! Especially to another matorian! How dare this idiot! "I was looking at your clothing, not your satchel." His words were flat, clearly annoyed and very blunt. He went to meet the other male dead in the eye, his stare as flat as his tone. Was he really that suspicious looking?

tis ok

When he heard the other Matori male speak he stopped, just short of being directly in front of the boulder that he sat on. Gael eyed him a bit before answering. "Aye, well, you can't have them either. I'd look a bit funny walking around in the buff." A shoulder lifted up as he spoke then slowly lowered back down. Why would this boy be looking over Gael's clothing? It wasn't like it was uncommon. Well, maybe it was. After all, many Matorian's wore next to nothing due to the climate. Gael chose to wear actual clothing but it was made out of a very breathable material.
