((Haha, I think it's a rad way for the pogs to get to know one another without RPing so I don't mind! Thank you for asking, though!))
Genesis was thoroughly knocked out by this point. The machine still sensed her weight on the platform, however, and continued to rise whenever a challenger appeared. Thankfully, Merope was more than capable of healing herself after rummaging through Gen's things.

Zebo sharpened his claws on the stadium floor, itching to use them. He wasn't too thrilled to fight Merope again, but he had to defeat her at least once to regain his honor.

The liepard tried to leap out of the way of the leech life, but he was too slow. He growled quietly as he sharpened his claws to needle points.

If Merope was not looking at him so intently, she might not have fallen for the Yawn. As it was, she drifted gently to the earth, yawning wide herself. She was asleep within seconds.

Zebo finally managed to dodge the life-sapping attack. He didn't stop though; he continued his forward momentum to bring himself closer to the golbat once again to rake the flying pokemon with his claws.
