Merope crowed from her place on the trainer's railing. Their previous match had been a close one, and she was eager to see what the results would be this time. She leaped off the railing to enter the field.

((XD That's pretty impressive.))
Zinnia recognized the stadium on the other side of the field, and lifted a hand in greeting. She quickly revised her strategy in her head and hoped that they would be able to come out on top this time.
Zebo twitched his tail. He'd be facing the golbat again... All flying pokemon were tricky, and he truly did despise bug-type attacks!

Genesis waved back, seemingly more involved this time... Nope, after that polite greeting, she went down for another nap. Her last mission had been particularly time-consuming, but it didn't mean her Pokémon couldn't train themselves!
Merope was not a particularly competitive individual, and she waved a wing without malice towards her familiar opponent.

Zebo grinned in reply. Perhaps the golbat wasn't so bad; she seemed friendly enough. If only they'd met under different circumstances, he might have even tried flirting with her.
"Thunder Wave!" Zin commanded.
But so much for that! Zebo slammed his paws on the floor, sending an electric shock toward Merope.

Or perhaps it was not too difficult after all. Merope screeched, the effects of paralysis heightened for a creature such as herself: one that needed to flap constantly to stay airborne. She struggled with her limbs whilst trying another Leech Life.
