There was nothing more relaxing to the celestial-colored pelt of stallion then heading up the hill that served as the altar to the Wishing Star. His mother had told him about his origins but that did not mean that she loved him and Centari any less. Castor's Lament began the short trek to the peak of the hill to merely reflect on the mysterious ways in which the star worked. He still was wary about the fact that he had yet to see Midnight's Whisper around for the longest time. It was like his sister had vanished from the general area and that could never bode well. She was a sly one and she had made it plainly clear that she wanted him gone.
Figuring that thoughts like that were best left for another time Castor knelt to the ground and let his gaze lift to the sky to seek out the star that was the basis of his origin. There was no trace of it in the sky, in fact the spreading blanket of darkness began to obliterate what stars were visible and spoke of a storm soon.Kara Asumie It has begun... dun dun dun

Kiyoraka Ashi had head to this alter that the mare had spoken of. The one in which she would be able to find a free meal. In her feral form and hidden in some tall grass as she saw the stallion. His coat was of the heavens just as the mare had said. Getting into a stance of attack as she waits and watches this stallion. This is to learn how he moves that way she can figure out the best way to attack him. Maybe a quick attack. No that mare wanted him tortured not that Kiyo really minded it.
In fact she loved to torture others slowly and watch how they reacted in fear with tears forming in their eyes as a storm forms in the skies above the earth.Puramu has seen Kiyoraka Ashi head off so she had followed. But she lost sight of Kiyoraka Ashi after awhile seeing she had to hide her lantern so now she grabs her lantern from off of her back so that it isn't hiding from behind her wings and now hanging from her mouth to light her way. Looking about as her eyes scan the area as the stars catch her attention. Not many could be seen but she looked the night just to watch the stars.
Shaking her head as she knows that she needs to find Kiyoraka Ashi before an innocent is killed. Puramu has tried time and again to save other victims of Kiyoraka Ashi's but they would get retaken and killed off by Kiyoraka Ashi. Pouting a bit as she has been working on controlling her holy light power just to be able to finally save one for the best and get them to safety. This time for such. She knows that Kiyoraka Ashi will attack back in the future and when that time comes she will be ready for it.

Castor had continued to watch the growing patch of darkness draw nearer to his location. The stallion stood abruptly as lightning lit up the clouds that it originated from. Feeling the hair of his mane rise just a little the stallion moved closer to the lone tree that dotted the hill. It would only serve as a temporary shelter and Castor knew that it was actually the worst place to be during a storm. Figuring that it was wiser to find another place to bed down before the rains strafed the land and his form he turned around and began to descend before pulling up into a dead stop.
Nostrils flaring the stallion's eyes narrowed in concentration before inhaling deeply again. His ears flicked back as his front hoof rose from the ground. Something was not right. Castor stood still, willing the hackles that rose along his body to settle down. It would not bode well if he just darted off into the darkness without knowing what it was that caused this feelings of unease to persist. The sensation of being watched washed over him and he began to understand that he was being stalked.

This stallion wasn't a stupid one. Kiyoraka Ashi smirks as she knows that this would be fun. As the lightening lite up the skies she remained hidden as she gets low to the ground watching this stallion. She had to admit that this stallion of heavenly colors was more alert then some of the victims she normally hunted. These more alert ones could be trouble but they were fun from time to time.
Only time would tell if this was going to be worth it or not. Stalking closer as she makes no sound at all. This has taken years to get perfect. Once close enough she pounces up into the air and onto the stallion's back. Claws out and digging into the back of this heavenly coat that annoys her so much. Her claws starting to break skin as she is about to bite down on the back of his neck.The flash of lightening lite the place nicely. She saw movement in the distance believing that is where Kiyoraka Ashi has gone to. Puramu then starts to head that way. Ignoring the storm as she places the lantern back onto her own back and hides the light it gives off with her wings as she tries to stay hidden so Kiyoraka Ashi doesn't notice her. Although she isn't close enough to see if that movement was Kiyoraka Ashi or not. She is just hoping that it is.
And praying to the heavens that if it is Kiyoraka Ashi then to please let herself to get there soon before anyone is hurt too bad or killed. After all Kiyoraka Ashi is a creature of pure evil and would kill anything as long as it seems to be a fun target so she will try everything to stop that from happening.

It was probably the first time in his life that something had ever gotten the jump on him and Castor was definitely unprepared to deal with the situation. The sudden and unexpected weight landing on his back would have been laughable if it weren't for the lancing pain that came along with the appearance of whatever had launched itself onto his back. Castor could feel claws digging into his skin, creating deep furrows that radiated pain throughout his body. This was something that he had never experienced. Agony washed through him as he fought to buck the creature off his back.
He froze but for a moment when he felt sharp pinpricks along the base of his neck. That would not do at all. Ducking his head away from the pressure Castor angled his body to head towards the tree that he had tried to shelter under before. He could try to ram whatever it was on his back and pin it to the tree in an effort to shake it off.

She had seen the tree coming as she released her hold on this stallion leaving scratch marks on his back as she leaps up in time to place her paws on the tree and push herself off of it and back onto the ground. Darting about as she watches him but doesn't hide this time. After all there was no point in hiding for a second time after one has already attacked. Because the victim knows you are there and so hiding wouldn't do much.
Sighing under her breath a bit as this stallion was going to be a troublesome one to deal with. She didn't even get to break his flesh with her teeth. Well not enough to count in her eyes. Normally she would have broken the flesh under her teeth and had a good hold before being noticed with how fast she moved. This stallion was just as quick a mover as a thinker. These Alert kinds can really be annoying.Puramu in a trot as she is dodging and waving through trees and leaping over rocks as well as fallen branches. So she can't go any faster then a trot in this kind of place with the little bit of light she has to guide herself with. Only using the light from her lantern in order to save up her holy light power for when she finds Kiyoraka Ashi. Just as that thought crossed her mind she came to a clearing.
In the clearing is a hill with an alter looking thing. She is still a ways out from it. Letting her eyes scan the area as she spots a stallion in the distance as well as Kiyoraka Ashi. But there could be traps about the place as she looks around before moving out again.

The problem with committing yourself to an action is that if plans suddenly changed you were still on the same path with too little time to change your mind. It was that way for Castor's Lament. The stallion had committed to ramming the "thing" into the tree but now that the creature had jumped off his back Castor found that he had little to no time to correct his direction. It was with a painful crashing sound that the stallion clipped the side of the tree. The angle was enough that he didn't fracture his skull but Castor still felt the impact down to his hooves.
He could feel blood coursing down his back from where the creature had perched earlier as lightning flashed around the hill. So far it was not looking promising for him.
The weather was becoming more dangerous with lightning arcing all around but yet there was still no rain. The stallion's eyes picked up movement and took in the creature circling around him with each strobe like flash of electricity. Castor knew that he was in no way ready for a prolonged battle; even if he had been in top form. His ears pricked forward before slanting back to lie flat on his skull. He bared his teeth in the direction of the enemy and stomped the ground. He'd go down fighting if he had to.

Kiyoraka Ashi smirks a bit as she is getting ready to pounce again. But she did wish to torture him before pulling out a full on attack. So to keep this stallion on his toes she shifts into her true form looking at him as she rears up and comes down at him in a way that if he doesn't move he is going to get at least one deep cut to his front leg. But if he moves in time then he can avoid her attack.
The lightening flashed in the skies above showing off just how she was going to attack as if the heavens were trying to protect this stallion. Without this blasted lightening Kiyoraka Ashi would be unseen and could have had more fun by this point in time.Puramu now rushing over to where Kiyoraka Ashi and an unknown stallion are so that she could be of help. Saving all of her power to blast off a holy light once there. But first she needs to get between them and she is planning to do just that. She won't care if she is hurt as long as she can save this stallion from Kiyoraka Ashi then she will be happy as well as pride of herself. This thought going through her head as she then yells at her feet to move fast inside of her head that is. Shouting was looked at as rude. Or so her mother and sister told her a lot.
Changing her gait from a cancer to a gallop. Now she is moving as fast as she knows how to.

Castor's head was ringing from the impact of striking the tree moments earlier. The stallion grimaced at the sensation before realizing that the creature that was attacking him had taken the time to shift forms. It was then Castor's eyes widened. This was a skinwalker. There was no doubt about it. He had been told of the danger that was associated with walkers and he'd also been told of the time when his mother had been attacked by one.
The lightning lit up the sky and betrayed his opponent's next moves. There was only seconds to spare as Castor spun around and struck out with his back hooves. There was a hope in his mind that he'd shatter the jaw of his opponent with the move. Adrenaline flooded his body as his mind went into overdrive. He had to survive this fight at all costs. It would not matter if he was seriously injured. He would take the time to recover. But there was no coming back from death.

Kiyoraka Ashi clicks her tongue at the lightening as she is displeased with it. Avoiding the stallion's hooves to her face but they do hit her shoulder as she falls backwards and as she does she then shifts back into her Feral Form. Landing in the soft ground was better in this form seeing it is a lot lighter in height then her true form. Glaring at this stallion as she sees the light of a lantern and knows just who it belongs to. That annoying angeni that she will kill or steal a baby from. That is how she is plotting on getting back at that annoying angeni mare.
She needed to take this stallion down before that angeni mare called Puramu got here. She is the only outsider that she recalls the name to seeing Puramu is forever saving the victims that Kiyoraka Ashi loves to play with. Up on her paws from landing on her side pretty hard as her shoulder where his hooves hit sting with pain but that won't take her out of this. She won't go down with ease.WC:: 185Puramu Bara running faster and faster as she gets there right before Kiyoraka Ashi could attack the stallion again. She had slid in between the two right in time to be the one attacked and not the stallion. Flinching as she feels Kiyoraka Ashi's teeth sink into her neck. "Close your eyes tightly now. Please Mister." She states as she smirks a bit using her Holy Light power to blind Kiyoraya Ashi. Once her Holy Light fades she is a bit tired as that takes a good bit of energy to pull off. Kiyoraka Ashi had released her to get away from the light as she looks at the Stallion. "You may open them now. And we should run now. Kiyoraka Ashi will regain herself in a few minutes and attack again."
There is blood and ripped flesh on her neck as she smiles like it isn't there. She is use to dealing with Kiyoraka Ashi as she saves a lot of others from Kiyoraka Ashi and the reason she is here is because she followed Kiyoraka Ashi's tracks here and she is happy that she did just that. WC:: 189

At first there was only disbelief that the creature attacking him would have misjudged its attack. But it was only when another voice interceded in the fight that Castor realized that someone else had come to his aid? There was a mare that stood as a barrier between the creature that had attacked him. Castor's gaze narrowed in concern as the skinwalker seemed to have latched onto the mare's flesh.
At the warning though Castor did as he was instructed. Even with his eyes closed there was a bright flash of light that still seemed to filter through the cracks. Castor's gaze was spared the direct effect of the light and he once again heard the voice of the mare speaking to him that they should run. Nodding more to himself the stallion heeded the advice and opened his eyes to see the skinwalker in the act of recoiling from the light's residual brightness. The idea came too swiftly to think of repercussions later on and so Castor's Lament acted upon instinct. As he ran closer to the stricken creature he deliberately timed his gait to place his hoof firmly down on the creature's bushy tail.
That action done Castor eased into a more natural gallop to follow the one that had saved him. The time for thanks would come later when he could be assured that he was safe.

The blinding light made her release Puramu's neck but she did rip a deep cut into the mare's flesh. Rolling about on the ground as her eyes feel like they are burning. So closing them tightly as she continues to roll about as she hears the voice. Yup that was Puramu. Clicking her tongue a bit as she is pissed about this. Not only the storm. The stallion was also a bother and now Puramu. It wasn't her day at all. But this wouldn't be the last time she would hunt these two. She adds this stallion onto her list to pay back. Puramu is on that list already.
Then her eyes pop open as she feels pain in her tail. It didn't break but it might as well have with how it felt. WC:: 134Seeing the stallion step on Kiyoraka Ashi's tail as she giggles a bit. "She is going to add you to the list of those that she will hunt down to repay. I know I am on it. But I am an angeni and my Holy Light is enough to get her to back down. But one day it might not work on her and I will be in trouble." She giggles a bit more as she is running from where Kiyoraka Ashi is laying as she looks at the Stallion. Too pumped on helping him that she didn't notice before but this stallion's coat was amazing. She blushes a bit as she slows her gait a bit. "I am Puramu-Bara. Who might you be?" She wonders. Her lantern is on her back and staying there thanks to her wings.
She knows that they are far enough now that Kiyoraka Ashi with her shoulder and tail both hurt won't come after them now. "I think we are good for now. Until she heals. I heard the kick that you landed on her shoulder. So she won't be running for a day or two." WC:: 192

Castor shook his mane when they came to a stop. As the mare began explaining things the stallion checked himself over for injuries. Besides the various lacerations and the ringing he was hearing in his ears he seemed fine. Although the attack had been seemingly unprovoked Castor could not help but wonder if there was a reason behind that walker seeking him out. It was strange in the sense that he had been going to the altar every few days and never once had he come under attack.
As the mare continued to speak Castor's attention fell back to her in time to catch her name. He stored it in the back of his mind before gently shaking his head again. There was most likely going to be a little bit of residual pain from when he struck the tree.
"I am Castor's Lament. Thank you for running interference. I have a strange feeling that I might already be on that list. I've been to that place many times and never once have I been attacked."
Castor smiled at the memory of kicking the walker and then stepping on her tail. "If all it took was that to slow her down then the danger that follows will be worth it."

"At least I left that deep cut on that darn mare's neck. If she didn't step in even this damage wouldn't be enough to slow me for long. But that annoying light." She pouts a bit as she stretches out slowly to ease the pain. Then ramming herself against a tree to pop her shoulder back into place. Still in Feral form as she smirks and sniffs the air. "Run all you like but I will find you." She slowly eases her way towards where the stallion and angnei mare went off to. She was going to track them down. There is no way she is going to allow it to end now. running will be out of the question for the next hour but after that she should be back in the game."Well it will only slow her down for a bit. Once she finds a new pray she will leave us be for a bit. But will continue to hunt us down from time to time until she is dead. Oh and her territory isn't in this area. I noticed a mare I never saw before in the walkers territory so after she left I keep a close watch on Miss walker. I did lose her for awhile. But glad I found her again." She points out as she feels the blood running from her neck as she finally can feel it seeing the rush is cooling down and all now. She smiles and annoys the wound. After all she was and still is more worried about Castor. "I like your name." Stating as she reaches her head back and picks up her lantern with her mouth and holds it high for a moment. It felt odd without it in her mouth from time to time.
This is because she is so use to carrying it most of the time.
