I'm kinda curious...what do you guys who bind use or recommend? My first binder was a great fish king one that started giving me problems and in the long run was not flexible enough for me or healthy to be using. Then I got an underworks which binds well and works pretty great despite being very uncomfortable. The problem is, I think having a full torso length binder is NOT good for me. I feel like all my insides are slowly being crushed and worse, my back hurts for sometimes hours after only wearing it for a small period of time. So I ended up purchasing a g2cb binder today since I finally had the funds. I'm hoping it'll work better? It has some really good reviews and so far no one has really said anything bad about it as long as the sizing is right.
So yeah it got me thinking--what do you guys use? What do you NOT recommend and what's your experiences been with whats out there?

Personally I found the Underworks full length binders worked best for me but I am not exactly small. They are uncomfortable until you wear them in but that's just my experience of them. I've been recommended g2bc as well but I won't be picking one up until I need a replacement. Let me know what they are like.
As for brands to stay away from, only opt for t-kingdom binders if you are of a small build with a small chest their sizing is so skewed that it's not worth it. That's going from a friend of mine, they are an athletic build with a b size and they struggled fitting into a t-kingdom XL.
General rule of thumb, if it looks too good to be true, generally it is. Expect to pay good money for a good binder, don't fall into the trap of buying cheap ones to save money, they will wear out far quicker so you will spend more replacing them.

I haven't fully tried any other bind set besides g2cb. What they offer seems more promising but I've been told/ read that underworks is also pretty good but I'm pretty awkward and on the XL size so I always end up nervous to buy from anyone besides g2 sweatdrop
In the long run, if full body isn't healthy or working for you. its probably a good thing to switch from that and choose the option that won't harm you.

I'll be sure to let you know how the gc2b goes! And god, yeah I hear you on the too good to be true thing. I made a major mistake with that. Never again will I try to buy a binder any lower than $30 or thereabouts.

Update on that gc2b binder, it came in earlier before the weekend but I couldn't even get it on. I pulled a muscle trying, so I think I messed up something in the measurement. Contacted the company, they're gonna have me send it back and exchange it. i just sent my full measurements to them for their recommendation. I'll send them the binder after I get back from a convention this weekend and once I get my new one maybe I can accurately talk about it ahah

I know I'm a little late but I've binded with some stuff I shouldn't have. Currently I'm restricted to under armor which doesn't work well. It helps but eh.... I'm a 42 DDD and I've used duct tape, ace bandage, a full underworks binder and so far none of them have really worked. I'm going to try out gc2b when I get the chance.

Finally got that new gc2b half binder! Size XL seems to work better for me. Here are a few shitty pics of me with it on. 1 2 The material feels way better than underworks, and I don't feel like I"m going to die wearing it. It's just comfortable enough. I honestly never would have imagined I'd be able to be as comfortable as I am in this in a binder. Dunno if there would be any but if anyone has any questions about it feel free to ask.

I have tried to bind before and have newly found out that they make binders! (Behind the times for the win~) The only thing I have tried is ace bandage and it does not work at all, nor does it stay in place. Now that I have read through this and seen that gc2b brand, I may look into getting one. Are they only sold online or can you get them in stores?

Ace bandage for binding is extremely dangerous, please don't do that! And gc2b is only sold online-- here is the website! This brand is good because if something doesn't fit, you can email them within the week you've gotten it and tell them and they will allow you to send it back and give you a refund code. You can't do that with any other online binder retailer I've found so far. If the stuff on their site doesn't work out for you though, I'd also recommend underworks as well. If you scroll down you can see other options thatn just the tritop

I've been thinking about buying a binder for school and other public places, and judging from this thread, it seems like gc2b is the way to go. OP, how has your binder from them been treating you since your last update? Would you still recommend it?

OP, how has your binder from them been treating you since your last update? Would you still recommend it? Hey there! It's still holding up for me. I'd just be very cautious when ordering--in that before ordering I'd talk to one of their customer service reps first and send them your measurements first to get their size recommendation. That way, if for some reason it doesn't work out they will allow you to send it back to them and give you a chance to get a better fitting size. All you'd have to pay for is $4 shipping. I hope it works out for you!

I really like how open they seem when it comes to contacting them. It makes me more inclined to actually get their recommendation. Thanks. emotion_yatta

I love that about them, and honestly its nearly as close as we'll get to having a way to at least try on binders at this point. Hope it works out for you! I'd like to hear how it goes.
