Zinnia danced into the stadium with Shadow Mew at her side. "Let's have a good battle," she said to her loyal pokemon. The mew nodded silently and took her place on the field while the pigtailed girl looked for her opponent on the other side of the stadium.

Magnolia wasn't much of a battler. That didn't stop her from wanting to give it a try every one in a while. "Let's do our best, Rho!" she cried to her Glameow. Rho was completely unimpressed.

"Rho, do the thing!" Magnolia cried aloud.
The Glameow did the thing. Fury Swipes, he did Fury Swipes, and slashed outward at the legendary before him.

The mew flinched back from the other cat's sharp claws, but managed to avoid the worst of the damage. Flying did have its benefits.
"Low Kick!" Zinnia said.
Shadow Mew swept low to the stadium floor, swinging a leg around at the last second to hopefully land an impact on her opponent.

Shadow recoiled from the slash, only to return it with another low kick. Physical battles were not her forté, but her long mew legs did come in handy here.

Pain erupted from his lower abdomen when the Glameow felt the Low Kick near his stomach. Coughing up a bit, he retaliated with a Slash at his close proximity.

Shadow flinched. The feeling of claws cutting into her body was most unpleasant, but it was clear that Zinnia was trying to train her body over her mind, now. She saw no fault with that plan, so she repeated the kick to her feline opponent.

Another good kick to his face caused Rho to inch back a bit. He wasn't liking this battle at all.
"C'mon, Rho you can do it!"
Easier said than done, he thought as he armed his claws with another Fury Swipes.

Shadow was hoping to put an end to the battle soon, as well. If it kept up for too long, Rho would see her completely shaved.

Rho felt like he would fall any moment. He didn't even have the strength to lift another paw. With encouragement from Magnolia, he raced up to Shadow Mew again and used Slash.
