It was another hot day as Sugar Petal gardened. Summer was not playing nicely this year, and the poor filly often was outside, unable to escape the heat. It had made some of her plants suffer, but for the most part it was manageable. On a day like this she always felt completely drained after gardening, especially when she planted a new flower, which she had done this evening. Luckily, her job was done and she could lean back and take a nice shower.
Gathering her things, the small filly counted her tools and began to rise to head indoors for the evening. Maybe she'd call up Lavender Lemon and see if she was interested in the carnations that seemed in full bloom. What treat could her friend make out of those?
Fea Line BAM. Time to destroy everything.

Tsunami Waves absolutely loved this weather! The heat of the sun warmed her up so nice that the crashing waves of the ocean was blissful. Not too hot yet not to cold. Juuuuuuust perfect.
Except Tsunami wasn't exactly at the beach right now, let alone in the waters. No, instead she was heading from the beach, hovering along as quickly as possible, still dripping wet. Her mission, find food! Yet for all the excitement the little merfilly had there wasn't much in the way of thinking as she went, trying to make ramps out of anything that looked rampable.
Like that left over box there. Except that didn't go well. Neither did her landing which sent her crash-tumbling to the ground, right through the fence and into a patch of flowers. "Oooh.....owowowowow." she breathed when she finally came to a stop, resting on her back, tail fin draped over her head, butt in the air. She wiggled her legs, looking down at her hooves, one of her hover bracelets pretty dented and smashed up. "Aww man no....noooo." she pouted.
Mental note to self. Can't do sick tricks on land.

Sugar almost jumped right out of her skin as, suddenly, the fence was destroyed and something crashed before her. There was a pregnant pause in the air as she just stared, eyes rolling to view her garden and then a strange merphony, and then back to her garden. For once, her monotone face was full of emotion, eyes wide and mouth hanging open for the world to see. Her hooves raised, just cupping her face in complete horror as she realized that the other had destroyed a few plants. For a second anger flashed, a rare emotion, before she spotted the broken hover bracelets. Struggling to calm herself, the filly briefly just flailed her hooves around before, finally, words left her.
"How di- what ar- do you know what yo- my plants!" Nope, she still wasn't able to speak. Scrambling to find words, the filly fell to her knees and touched the dirt of her garden before it clicked in her head that the other had said 'ow'. Turning her head, she glanced the phony over.
"Are you okay? Is... is that okay?" She nodded towards the bracelets, voice shaking just a tad as she still sought to figure out what emotion she wanted to settle on.

Tsunami hadn't been aware there was someone else there, at least not at first. She was too busy trying to roll herself back over, get her tail off her face and stare at the damage done to her bracelets.
And then the voice hit her. Ohman she had just royally destroyed someone's garden! "Holy hang ten, I am SOO sorry!" the little mer flipped herself right ways, expecting to see a rather large and rather angry pony, but instead only saw a filly about the same size as herself, a little bigger. Except she had two back legs and not a tailfin. "I....wait...what?" she tilted, blinking before following the other's gaze towards her dented hover bracelet device. "I...ah...well... I hope so... or its going to be a long trek home." she admitted, giggling to herself.
At least until she realized the other was still trying to figure out if she was concerned or angry. Tsu's ear's shot back a bit as she better surveyed the damage she did. "I really am sorry.... I didn't mean to tank it all over your pretty flowers." she said softly, trying to straighten one flower stem, only to have it fall over the other way, face scrunched into an embarrassed grimace.

She watched the mer fuss with a flower, inwardly flinching as the flower just lolled to the other side. Oh.... her beautiful garden.... She took a second to calm herself, rationally bringing herself back to her senses. This filly was not alone in a strangers garden (which she had destroyed), but also her gear could be possibly broken. The other might even be a bit embarrassed; clearly she hadn't meant to smash into her garden and wreck her plants. Sighing, Sugar Petal shook her head, flashing a brief and tired reassuring smile.
"Nono. It's okay." Sure, she was horrified and pretty upset, but as long as the other was okay then it was fine. She'd just have to start over. "As long as you're okay, then that's what matters."
Some plants were salvageable, now that she glanced back over. No, she needed to focus on the other right now! Plants can wait! "Um, did you get hurt?"

Even though the other filly insisted that everything was ok, Tsu felt from the look on her face that she was having a hard time believing that. Of course, who could blame her? Here was a fish out of water, almost literally, come crashing into your garden! Like, when did that ever happen?!
"I still feel super bad, like totally. I wish I had wings so I hadn't ruined your pretty flowers!" Tsu fretted, pressing her hooves to her temples and rubbing them a bit, propped up awkwardly on what would normally be her butt if it didn't go straight into a tail fin. "I don't think I got hurt?" she blinked, looking over herself and flicking the tip of her tail fin slightly. Her cheeks flushed slightly at the fact that the other seemed to care enough to even ask. "Thanks for asking! That's super sweet of you. I think just my hover devices got bent a little...." she half smiled and held out her hooves to inspect those, turning her hooves in all directions to see.
Yup, defiantly bent up.

Oh, that must be awful to have your main way of transportation be damaged. How was she going to get back to her home? Sympathy washed over her as she noticed the bent up hover devices, nibbling her bottom lip. What could she do? Would her parents mind a sudden guest? Probably not her mother; Sweet Bread was always delighted to see children.
"Do you want to come inside? I can ask my parents to fix your device? Or take it in to the store?" She just couldn't abandon this filly, no matter what happened or how. Oh!
"We can call your parents?"

Tsu blinked at the offer, a small smile lighting at the edge of her muzzle. "You would really do that?!" she gasped, glancing down at her hover devices again. There was no way she was going to be able to fix them on her own. However at the mention of calling her parents, the little mer shook her head. "I don't have any! Its just always been me and the ocean for as long as I can remember." she nodded her head, still smiling despite the fact. "I so will repay you somehow though." she tilted her head, tapping a hoof to her chin. Maybe there was some way she could help replant some new flowers in place of the ones she smashed?

For a second she frowned, reaching forward and giving a gentle tap on the shoulder. How could someone not have parents? Was it lonely? Was this girl alone? For how long? Briefly, she made a note to pay a visit to the mer one da- Wait! They didn't even know each others names!
"Yes, of course." She mumbled back as she reached forward to help straighten a plant. She stood up, extending a hoof to help the mer wiggle out of the garden. "My name is Sugar Petal. Nice to meet you."
Fea Line Do you mind if I also use this for Sugar's kindness, since this one is closer to being finished?

Tsu had never thought much about it, she just felt so home at the beach, playing in the waves. She hadn't yet been invited to another's house before though and was quite excited. "Awesome! Ohohoh!" she giggled, placing her hooves over her mouth. How could she forget to introduce herself! "Nice to meet you Sugar Petal! I'm Tsunami Waves!" she grinned, gladly accepting the helping hoof as she sort of seal drug herself forward, being careful to avoid anymore plants along the way. Yushika Of course! I think people usually use the rps for each of their ponez~

A faint smile crossed her face, head nodding as she helped Tsunami Wave. Okay, worry about getting Tsunami set up in her house, then her plants.
"Okay okay, door, door..." She muttered to herself as she began to go into help mode. She released the hoof, hurriedly opening her front door and rushing back, offering to help lift Tsunami should she want it, but... she didn't want to assume.
"Alright, if you need help I'm here."
Fea Line HMMM where do you want this to go? Her help Tsunami in and offering her bed and then time-skipping to the next day where Tsu is helping with the plants?

Sugar was so nice, Tsu still couldn't believe she smashed her flowers. Oh she just felt so terrible each time she thought about it! But here this little filly was ready to help in any way possible so Tsu was going to do the same, even if it meant being land bound for a while! "Thanks so much, really you don't have too. I'm the one that made a mess of things." she half laughed, sticking her tongue out slightly before propelling herself forward much like that of a seal. "Wowee yeah definitely much easier in water." she giggled to herself.
Yushika That works for me! And sorry about being slow, work has been hectic thanks to the 4th x,x

She shook her head at the thank you, giving a polite smile. She wasn't quite sure why it was such a big deal she was offering to help. She should! Phonies were supposed to help each out! She couldn't leave Tsunami outside, that was cruel. And the poor mer couldn't get back home anytime soon. No way was she going to just shrug her off and head inside. If it was her she'd be so scared...
"Do you need help?" She questioned as she held the door open, a worried frown crossing her features.

"I think I can handle getting to the house! You've been so super kind already." the little Mer added, doing another seal hop forward towards the graciously opened door. "I also....um....am afraid to get you hurt." her cheeks flushed. She wasn't sure how heavy she'd be for the poor little filly and wasn't sure about asking the girl to lend a shoulder. It was kind of like dragging dead weight since she only had a tail fin to propel herself with and not two legs to help move her along..

Sugar Petal held the door open, waiting for the other to approach. She politely shook her head, a soft smile crossing her features.
"Anything to help." She promised, stepping back once Tsunami was close enough. The filly headed into the house, quickly grabbing loose items and putting them in place as she prepared the home for the mer. She should probably fill her parents in, too!
Fea Line Want to skip to the next morning?
