I figured we should start this up

I'm just setting the scene because i was inspired. We can talk about this/how we're going to do this later. No rush!

Naita struggled to pin up the 'crew wanted' poster on the notice board with her claws, but she managed it fine. They had somehow managed to limp into Taliuma's port, and Naita was glad she'd stuck around for the ride. The city was so full of sights and sounds and smells that Naita was delighted and overwhelmed by it.

What had become apparent was that the ship needed a lot of work. It was slightly broken, very creaky, and in need of a dozen repairs and – most of all – a new name, because Seren's Golden Light was, in Naita's opinion, a terrible name for a ship. She thought they should name it something badass, like Bloodstalker or Bloodspark or, better yet (and she was pretty sure this was the one they had agreed on) Bloodflame. Of course, that meant getting rid of the old nameplate and putting in a new name, repairing all the crappy rotted and waterlogged stuff, cleaning the, ah, remains of Naita's dinners out of the hold, and generally fixing the place up.

They also needed a crew, a proper crew, because it had taken a lot of luck, hope, and effort to get their ship to Taliuma just by themselves and Naita couldn't do a lot of the things that needed hands. Fortunately, Naita knew enough to know, basically, what a crew was made up of and she had managed to list some things, dictating to Ebalia as best she could. Such was the note. Fortunately, they had funds and – with a crew – could get more funds, so that wasn't a problem.

What was a problem was waiting.

Naita slouched into the loud, smelly tavern and ordered off the tap, paying with a slightly chewed coin before taking a place at an empty table and lapping her brew. Well, here she was. Waiting. Time to see if she would have long to wait...
