The response I wrote for the hunt i just did was too perfect to not use as a starter
Naita dropped the Arboa on the deck, letting them fall with a satisfying, slimy splat. She began to gut them with her claws – one was already sort-of cooked and the other was already partially gutted, so it didn't take her long. Thus cleaned, she brought the fish into what served as the ship's Galley and began to filet them, taking off the meat and separating out the bone with her claws. The cooked one was somewhat harder, being less willing to stick together but she managed something passable and even got the skin off.
She had made her decision to return, and she was hoping she wouldn't regret it when she saw Ebalia. But, once Naita had made up her mind, she wasn't going to change it. She proceeded to cook both fish properly (with a little char) using her breath, the smell of cooked fish wafting over the ship...
She was in it for the long fun and the Firani just had to hope that, even if it was awkward, she would get used to it. If not... She didn't know what she would do.
“Oi! Eba! Hiyuu!” she roared, “Breakfast or whatever! Come and get it!”
