[OOC] Monthly Prompts

All prompts will cycle out on the 15th of each month.

This thread is for the express purpose of providing all members of the Mlima Tuokoa with prompts for their characters to respond to in order to make the colony feel more interactive and alive!
The prompts you may find here will vary drastically or very little from previous prompts.

Below are [ January 2016 ]'s prompts!

Open Prompts — These are available for anyone to respond to! Open prompts do not need to be claimed, since they are unlimited!

CURRENT EVENTS! The talk of Umsindisi is about the queen's death and the defiling of Shan Furen's temple! Other matters at hand are lord Eduard's death, the idea that he and his sister were murdered, by Barafu-taji no less! While there's not a lot of evidence to support this rumor that's circulating around, there were other rumors that the captain of the guard was romantically involved with the late queen!

PREPARATION! Spring is almost upon the Mlima Tuokoa and with the last sheds of winter beginning to wane, excitement is evident throughout the mountain! Spring means the herds will becoming wandering through the valley again, but it will also mean a lot of work as spring means they will need to begin preparations for next winter. How does your SoA plan on helping out this spring? Do they get started now or do they wait and just plan things out?

PLAINS PATROL! Your guard is sent down the mountains to patrol the plains at the base of Umsindisi when they encounter a small band of rogue hyenas that they've been getting reports that have been stealing kills from the prowlers! This is your SoA's chance to prove themselves a capable guard to take care of this menace! (ONE AVAILABLE — GUARD ONLY)

A MESS! Your scholar is on cleaning duty today. Blech. While cleaning the bones of any spiders that may have made their home in the holes in the walls you come across a bone inscribed with...something intriguing! It's a story of Riho that no one has seen in over a generation! As excitement overtakes you, you trip, losing it in the pile of other bones that you've set aside for dusting and cleaning.
