Ascalon: The dragon-slaying sword wielded by St. George. It does tremendous damage to other dragons, giving Issei a huge one-up on competing dragons. It also has magic power and can send opponents flying with a burst of its aura. Issei can pass the sword to others to be wielded in battle, though he mainly chooses to leave it the hands of Xenovia.

About you:
Issei is one of those special cases. So special to be selected as the human analog of one of the two dragon emperors. Issei got the welsh dragon, the red dragon emperor, a position and power which has driven many to become harsh, cruel men. But rather than be lured in by the sirens of power, greed, and lust--well, at least most vices-- Issei has proved that opposing virtues such as honor and chivalry have been augmented by his sacred gear. With the help of his Red Dragon alter-ego Issei selflessly lays his life on the line for his Gremory family and anybody who might need help, and continued doing so for ten years after the events of the series. Now Issei, through some tasteless joke of fate perhaps, is the coach of girls gym at Kuoh Academy for third years. Keeping at his old lecherous ways, Issei frequently asks the girls when their birthdays are or when they will be of legal age. Meanwhile principal Sona shakes her head when a complaint finally reaches her desk and is forced to send Issei to a sensitivity seminar led by councilor Akeno. The punishment is always steep, much to the dismay of Rias who teaches intro to anthropology. But of course this isn’t the extent of Issei’s shame; there’s also the slew of yaoi fangirls during sports competitions as rival coaches Kiba and Issei go head to head; the bulk of the female student body wishing it would be a little more lateral, remembering old rumor passed down through legend channels. And when he’s all bloodied and bruised he gets a wagging finger from Asia, school nurse. Yes, it’s all one big, stupid happy family, and Issei has never been happier. He’s even learned how to secure contracts moderately well. But there are those out there, waiting, dreaming of the day they can see heroic Issei and the rest of the Gremory group out of the way, and the White Dragon is one of them. Issei can’t stay out of trouble very long, so what will he do if he’s pulled back into the fray with so much to lose?

(ca) "Booblingual:" Issei is so in tune with the spirit of the oppai that he literally read battle strategies of female opponents through their boobies as long as they're within his range. You know what they say, the mind of a woman is full of lies but there is only truth in oppais.
(a) Dragon Shot: as a fan of the Z Issei has mastered the dragon shot, a powerful energy bullet which can be powered up with the boost function of his gear.
(a) Balance Break: a technique in which Issei takes on the form more reminiscent of Draig's true appearance. His power is off the charts in this form, and as the name implies, it is often enough to turn the tide of a battle completely.

This daughter of Satan’s intellect and compassion are only surpassed by her beauty, say most who have the pleasure of taking her class, but asking Issei Hyoudo might not yield such a quick choice between the two. One of the most honorable devils in existence, her code is one of the sole shapers of Issei’s knight-like chivalry. Not only him but all the members of the occult research club adhere to a strict code, making her seem like the most logical choice as the next satan; a ruler who would hold all devils to the laws of justice and punish those who cause trouble for humans tried to start war with the angels to preserve peace. If her team is a model airplane then her word is the glue, pervading and holding her world together. One could expect Rias, then, to be harsh or cold. This is not the case. Instead rias has those attributes up as a front; her true nature is a fiery passion and a bleeding heart much more caring and vulnerable. But as vulnerable as she might appear in this way, that is her true strength. And she instils this is her team and nearly everyone she comes into contact with. Ten years after her group’s adventures she continued her quiet watch over the city, but with the ease of a gardener in a rainy spring, having only to wait. And she waited: through winter snowball fights and heated soccer games; through dry lectures on the importance of some piece of stone or clay to some folk or another and breezy songbird nights when Akeno and her could talk of nothing but Issei’s growth as a devil through loud, snide sips of flowery tea; through days of purring reports from the very pettable Yuto & Koneko and steamy baths of confidence with principal Sona; through starry balls where no comfort was spared to prove to her brother that she was pedigree at shaking hands and careful, dusty days in the old ORR waiting for curious students to start wondering about the darker side of anthropology. And all of them were equally dim without the glimmering shine of Issei come to save the day, and each night she cursed herself for thinking that when Issei could no longer hear her sighing.

(p) Creature of the Night (pro): This version has all that Issei's has plus flight and enhanced regenerative capabilities (but not enough to let her not need a bishop). (c/a) Influential: Rias has been known to put the mind meld on people, if only Issei's parents that one time--but still!--she can. Issei's folks seemed to be pretty weak-willed, which suggests this ability is far from perfect.
(a) Obliteration Magic: Rias' title of Princess of Destruction is well deserved. Her magic attacks are potent and can completely annihilate enemies who are too weak to stand up to them.
(a) Magic Shield: Rias can make a circular shield of magic which can take quite a lot of punishment before breaking; as reinforced in the second season by Sirzechs saying that she was the only one among them who could produce strong defensive magic.
(c/a) Extinction Star: Team-up attack with Issei in which Rias uses the power of the boosted gear to super-charge her obliteration magic to unbelievable levels. It could very well be a one-shot, but for the sake of fairness it will charge slowly and be somewhat inaccurate.
(a) Oppai Beam: Another team attack with Issei, except this time she doesn't take so much as give. A red beam of mystical hotness shoots out of her boobies to recharge Issei. It makes them smaller for a time, much to the dismay of Issei.

Sword Birth: One of the more handy sacred gears out there, Kiba's Sword Birth does exactly what its name implies; he can create any sword he can imagine. Even a sword that can cut down both angels and devils.

About you:
If passion is the strength behind a sword, then Kiba has more than enough power for all the swords he could possibly create. It was this same fire which drew Rias to Kiba in the first place. Rias had made a habit of taking risky souls as her pieces: scooping up the red dragon who, for all she knew, could have destroyed the world, taking Asia Argento from the fallen angels, and no less risky Kiba from an excalibur wielding menace to devil knight. Whatever hunch she had was right, as yuto has been one of the most loyal and valued members of the Gremory team. His skill with a sword is nearly unparalleled, but he remains modest. When it is necessary Yuto sheds his friendly, mild-mannered exterior to reveal a darker side. This dual-sided temperament is literally the source of his greatest power, which he uses to cut down those who would hurt his loved ones in true Gremory style. Since the last fight with the Khaos Brigade Kiba has continued to train, both inspired by and a little jealous of Issei’s power. After learning the pathological secrets of unlocking the Sword Birth’s true potential, all that was left was to refine his craft. He has come a long way in ten years, as one could imagine. Rias and the girls don’t understand, but Saji, Issei, and any other competitive red-blooded bro knows just what it means to play catch up. Sure, Kiba’s still lightyears ahead of Issei when it comes to being a devil, snapping up contracts left and right-I mean, if anyone’s a harem king it’s Kiba--and he always wins friendly duels with Issei in sports competitions, but it’s not the same. Not that he hates him. Kiba admires Issei, but something tells him to keep improving. Maybe it’s all this peace that’s driving him, to move, continue to evolve or die. Stagnation and boredom abound like subtropical fog, and everyone feels it as Yuto often elects to put down stray devils by himself to test himself. Rias, realizing the power of broners is stronger, sighs and gets tea ready for his return. Though sometimes Xenovia refuses to stay in complaining that Kiba’s hogging all the exercise, that life as a cop is too boring. Of course she would also want to test out her skill, having trained with Kiba to master Ex-Durandal. Through that training Kiba has created a style of swordplay which makes up for the disadvantages of fighting a holy sword, and he tests it out when ever he can on any devil worthy of it.

(c/a) Holy Eraser: A sword used often by Kiba, it is made of darkness so deep that it devours any light it touches.
(a) Balance Break: Kiba's balance break produces a sword that is both holy and demon sword. It does damage to everyone equally except maybe dragons.
(c/a) Sacred Devil Arts: in keeping with that motif, Kiba has developed a style of swordplay for himself inspired by this duality's power. It capitalizes on his speed and keys on stop hits to beat down opponents with offense and defense as one. It is surprisingly effective against holy swords like the Ex-Durandal, but can be a bit of a gamble.

The rook of Rias Gremory is an interesting story. Needless to say family life wasn’t for her. Well, at least not in the traditional sense. Koneko has found, though, in the course of her adventures with Rias and the gang that her true family is the house of Gremory, more specifically the Occult Research Club. She has found a brother in Issei if nothing else. In coming to face that she has learned that her true nekomata self shouldn’t be hidden from the one she loves. Like the others Koneko was taken at the peak of her vulnerability, but since has stood tall as the Gremory rook. Now that she has embraced the Gremory style, she stands even taller as a nekomata. Now there is plenty of time for catnaps, especially since the only “dangers” are swatted by Kiba. The rest of the rush, the training, the hot spring gossip, doesn’t interest Koneko as much and so she sleeps until night comes. Then, like a real mouse hunter, Koneko prowls the Issei house and, when it’s time, goes off to snap up more contracts for the Gremory house. Not surprisingly, her neko-ness has sparked a fevering rumor around town thanks to those pesky smartphone photographers, making Koneko the most requested devil in the group by far. now she has three phones, five aliases, ten facebook accounts and a serious need for a secretary or an agent, an idol without a stage. Though most of her clients only want to see her transform and play with her ears, which Koneko refuses adamantly, seeing that they probably want just that and not a pact. Suppose her naps more deserved than previously thought.

(c/p) Nekomata: If she is forced to Koneko can revert back to her true form as a nekomata. It enhances her strength and agility and gives her a magic attack in the form of blue fire. As logic would dictate, this is her natural state and therefore has no turn limit. Beat her before she can transform.

About you:
Perhaps one of the most complex pieces in the house of Gremory, Akeno remains Rias’ queen through thick and thin, even taking command of the team when needed. Her and Rias’ relationship over the years has managed to stay complicated, full of backhanded compliments and downright scandalous tactics behind each other’s back. Case in point: Issei Hyoudo. the two have been competing for Issei’s attention since early in his career, and whether or not Issei notices sometimes doesn’t seem to matter, though they will insist the display is for the red dragon. In this there is something troubling: does Akeno want more power? Seeing her position could make her a little jealous, sure, but when coupled with her branding as a witch, a freak, by so many groups except Rias it could make for a very confused variety of envy. Perhaps she’s angry; maybe the lightning priestess can’t comprehend a world in which she isn’t alienating or annoying everybody; maybe she’d forgotten what it meant to love so long ago that whatever reminded her of its being a two-way street made her want to burn it all up; or maybe the thought of unrequited love is so stimulating for her, in a reversal of her promoted appearance longing to be the dependent denied.
In the ten years after Issei’s last fight with the Khaos Brigade Akeno has remained closest to Rias, taking tea and bath with her almost nightly. Whether or not Rias has planned this to keep an eye on her is another story, but she does see the most of Issei after Rias. She still has a lot of contracts, coming in third after Gasper and Koneko, and a fair amount of work to do as councilor. By the time she’s done dealing with whiny teens she’s almost too tired to work as ambassador between the fallen angels and devils, but she still finds time to go to meetings sometimes taking minutes on her laptop. Once a cocky devil told her to type slower. that didn't end so well for him. Needless to say there is plenty of stress to melt away in the springs with Rias and Sona. Sometimes she has to, she says, sneak a cuddle session with Issei in the middle of the night after Koneko has leaves to tend to her eager fans. More often than not she is greeted by the sight of a restless Rias sitting up in bed. Rather than be cross at her, Rias confides in her things she wouldn’t tell Sona in the bath. Meanwhile Issei dreams of beautiful women made of fire and lightning pouring a new world of devils and mythical legends and gods gone mad and dragons changing shape and color and form beneath his feet to form a bumpy chess board that shifts and rocks and lurches randomly from their eyes while Issei runs to save them. They are swallowed by the moon and the light portion is in turn swallowed by the dark as Issei is called out to, “Ara ara, you must be losing your mind.” “Issei-kun and I will be together forever…” “Hai…” Shortly after Issei’s dreams are restarted. Oppai clouds which double as cotton candy, oceans of nude girls determined to help him with his stroke as he swims by. Sometimes Issei mentions to them that he’s had a bad dream, and before he can finish Akeno offers him a lap pillow, which always starts a rumble between her and Rias. And Akeno giggles, knowing this is the life she loves.

(p) Priestess of Thunder: Akeno's forte are electrical attacks. They are some of the most devistating in the series.
(a) Elemental Magic: far from a one trick pony, Akeno can control other elements in addition to thunder.
(a) Magic Shield: like Rias, Akeno can produce a shield as well as barriers with her energy to defend against or trap an opponent.

About you:
If anything can reverse the stigma placed on devils it’s the sweetness of Asia Argento. A former nun in the service of the fallen ones turned devil, Asia has developed a constant willingness to help whomever is nicest to her. This may seem simple, but it may speak to her deeper talent as a judge of character that in the time she has been serving Rias she has been the most happy, possibly sensing the lack of wickedness from the group; moreover serving as a barometer for evil by being so pure that if she is being mistreated then there must be something malicious going on.
After her adventures with the team Asia took her talent for healing to the medical field, where, she thought, she could help people without worrying about their religion or those trappings. Of course, still being faithful she thanks the Lord, or rather his system, after each healing. During the operation Asia tells the patient to close their eyes. If they don’t, Asia is forced to omit the visit from their memory. A sense of mystique has crept in around the doors of the nurse’s office like fog on a riverbank. What happens in there? they wonder and a series of urban legends sprouted up about the miracle healer of Kuoh. Eventually the afflicted started showing up at her desk from the streets to receive her healing, and reluctantly Asia denied them saying she could only heal students of the academy. Though that didn’t last and before she knew it med students were begging her to hold seminars on her technique to which Asia replied cleverly that it is nothing more than luck and proper nutrition which helped the people recover. Having no way to tell if she was lying or not, and Asia having erased all traces of the Twilight Healing from her patients’ minds, the doctors were forced to take her at her word. Now she has one of the most successful diet/exercise programs in the country on shelves. Sometimes she wonders if it would have been easier to just put band-aids on everyone’s booboos like a normal school nurse.
(p) Bishop: the bishop is granted magical powers. While they mainly focus on healing the magical abilities seem to be versatile for a bishop. Not much in the way of physical strength though.
(c/a) Memory Erasure: a technique taught to her by Rias, Asia can wipe the memories clean of any being with less base strength than her no questions asked. It can sometimes work on stronger beings, but that's much less likely.
(c/a) Godspeed: Asia has learned to teleport. She can instantly warp to the nearest injured comrade. Takes a turn to power up.
(a) Sacred Demon: Asia is so saintly that one night while praying she was blessed with a new aura that was both angelic and demonic. She can use it once a match and it lasts five turns. She can also transfer it to one other person.
Ex-Durandal: Possibly the most overpowered thing ever, it is the combination of the pieces of Excalibur fused to the Durandal sword.

The second knight of Rias Gremory, Xenovia embodies what a warrior should be. Being a natural holy sword wielder made her a prodigy, but her work ethic is what makes her exceptional. At the start of her adventure with the ORC Xenovia could barely wield the awesome power of Durandal, but now she has mastered every aspect and ability of the ridiculously powerful Ex-Durandal. As soon as she did this she had her eggs frozen saying something to effect of her being at her peak and that any babies made with Issei now would undoubtedly produce the strongest child… Possibly ever. That may have bought her time, but Xenovia won’t let up on her dream to procreate with the red dragon. Aside from that life Xenovia has found a niche in criminal justice. She’s the only cop around who uses a kendo sword instead of a gun. Because of this she has earned the title “kendo-cop,” a name that brings relief to overwhelmed officers and terror to the minds of criminals. Using only a fraction of her knight speed she is able to down crooks in the blink of an eye. Sometimes a string of minor thugs leads to a big bad low-level demon boos. Those times excite her greatly, always eager to use her sword’s special abilities even if it is just a low-level devil. In addition to that there are lucky times when Xenovia intercepts a demon’s location and gets to tag along with Kiba on a slaying. Good thing though. Kiba and her can practice their team attacks. When she isn’t smashing bad people or devils or training to do so Xenovia tackles intellectual endeavors: philosophy, blogging, biblical studies; and has published works on what she calls “Theory of Justice.” Because of this she has been noticed by Michael’s forces and, much to Irina’s delight, represents Rias’ team at angel-devil meetings. More proof that Xenovia can conquer any obstacle in her way… Well, almost any obstacle.

About you:
Once the quiet shut-in center of many an urban legend, this adorable vampire is now the bubbly host of his own podcast. Of course that is in the safety of his room. It took a while to get there, though, and Gasper has shown that through his cowardice is a type of courage in the desire to help his friends. Being a mutation piece isn’t easy. Gasper found out very quickly that all that power could easily get out of hand, and with experiences of people being afraid and lashing out at him Gasper learned that keeping himself and his power hidden was for the best. With some coaxing and perspective brought on by Issei’s indomitable spirit in the face of his many failures Gasper slowly opened up to the group. He still manages to pull in a fair amount of contracts for the Tias set, second only to Koneko. thanks to the girls’ magic Gasper’s room has been transformed into a realm all its own, which unfolds like a giant box to make the little guy feel at home. Here he is the host of a very popular podcast loosely centered around the current events of the EDM world. It’s got a cult following, that’s for sure, and Gasper uses it to get plenty of contracts. He’s known as the master social media, Koneko has come to him on numerous occasions asking for help on how to handle her popularity and how to promote herself. Rather than be jealous of her, Gasper gladly agrees to help out. He sometimes trains with Issei or Kiba, if only to make sure his power still work, but most of the time he is too busy. Ironically now that he’s opened up to the group he is almost as shut-in as he was when Issei found him.
(p) Creature of the Night (hybrid): the addition of his vampire powers puts him closer to a high-ranking devil in strength.
(p) Mutation Bishop: the mutation piece has immence power and nearly unlimited potential, so it's no wonder why Rias never let him out. It makes Gasper's powers harder to control, but he's dangerous regardless of control. He should specialize in magic.

After a quick jog around campus, Issei dropped by the girls’ locker for… Well, we don’t need to spell that one out. Sure to be caught, Issei narrowly escaped this time and therefor avoided a painfully erotic punishment courtesy of Akeno. Rias, hovering overhead, was more amused than angry.
“Issei.” “Hai!” Springing to a salute. “Looks like you’re getting your exercise… As usual.” “Oh, yeah! … Wait.” “Don’t worry, I won’t rat you.” She could help laughing. Then she grabbed his earlobe and fiddled with it. “Besides, Akeno gets far too much of the fun.” And that’s how things went in the days. In the nights of Issei things got a little more interesting. Matsuda and the gang met at Matsuda’s strip club to share stories of their finds. And when that was over, it seemed, every night a boy from Kuoh academy walked into the stale place to have a seat at the VIP section with Issei and crew.
"There he is!" Said Issei pulling up a icy glass of juice and handing it to the young man.
"You look like you're having fun." "Always. How are things with the harem?" "Funny. The team is good. A few strays spotted on the outskirts, but it'll be about a week yet before we have to worry about them." "Good to hear." Every night, just like that Issei stayed in touch with the new alliance patrol. As Red Dragon Emperor, he had a duty to uphold a certain level of balance in the world, even if it was contrary to his nature. Somewhere amid the briefing Issei gets a text. It's from Koneko who wants Issei to take a contract off her adorable paws. The things you do for love.
