This was Hyperborea's first night back patrolling since her training on her wonder. She had found her raison d'etre. She would devote her life to hunting Youma and stopping chaos however possible. To that end she was currently patrolling the park in search of negaversers or youma to fight.
Her wish was granted as she felt a Youma's aura in the vicinity. She rushed towards the monster summoning her bow. She stopped once she caught sight of the creature.
It had the face of a fanged monkey, the body of a tiger, and the tail of a snake. To say the youma was weird was a bit of an understatement. But that didn't matter to Hyperborea she just wanted the thing dead before it could hurt anyone.
She pulled back the string of her bow as an arrow of silvery star light appeared. The light buzzed at her finger tips as she let the arrow fly at the monster. It exploded in a blinding explosion of light. She sent her bow away. The creature was blinded which meant this was her chance.
She focused on the power of Cosmos while lighting touching her ring. a silvery sheen enveloped her. She was about to begin attacking the youma in earnest when she suddenly felt another aura approaching them.
Oh great. I'm not really in the mood to see anyone right now. she thought a bit annoyed but still it felt like an order aura, a squire like herself so at least she probably wouldn't have to worry about them being hostile. She could handle a bit of company, she would have to. She wasn't strong enough or knowledgeable enough yet to completely avoid her fellow Knights and Senshi, as much as she would prefer being left alone.litian Here's a start, let me know if I need to change anything. This is my first time writing for her magic so hopefully it all looks right.

It had been a quiet day at the shop, a couple of customers and no more between the time that Marlin rolled up the shop shutters and turned the closed sign in the glass fronted door framed in green to open and the time that he had shut Fancy A Change for the day.
He'd spent a bit of time in the closed shop, going over a few things and tweaking a few displays before finally pulling down the shutters and heading up to the apartment to change out of the pirate costume that he had chosen to wear about the shop.
Initially Marlin had had the vague idea of walking over to a place that he knew sold both coffee and pastries and would still be open despite the fact that it was late evening, but at some point he had changed his mind and after finding somewhere to power up had instead ended up tracing the relative familiar route over to the park...
After all as Falias he tended to do a lot of what passed for his patrols in the park.
Some nights it was quiet and some nights not, however on arriving at the park it didn't take long for Falias to realise that tonight was not going to be one of the quiet nights - after the youma aura in itself was one big chaos-filled clue.
There was a second aura in close vicinity to the youma's aura - a Squire aura like his own - a flash of bright silvery light from further in the park pointing out the direction in which to head.
It didn't take long to find the pair. The youma an ugly thing that appeared to be a mishmash of monkey, tiger and snake.
The Squire...
The first thought that struck Falias as he caught sight of the short girl with the golden laurels resting atop white hair was just how very young she seemed.
The second was more memory than thought as for one brief moment he remembered another small knight, this one a Page, who had also been young - too young and even though the other Squire seemed to have the youma in hand it didn't stop him from snapping a branch from a nearby tree before trying to wade in and whack the youma with said branch.Aurelius Ambrosius Your start is lovely Aure :3 Apologies for taking so long to tag back

litian Thanks heart and no worries I've been slow the past few days myself She watched as the blond Earth squire attacked the Youma with a branch. She noticed that the Youma was starting to regain it's bearing. She decided to to strike now, so she punched the thing in its face. It yowled in pain and tried to move away from her.
Good, Theseus was right. It seems that my aspect hurts things of chaos. She thought with a smirk.
"Thanks for the help." She said while punching it. Even if I could have dusted it on my own. Though she held her tongue on that thought. "I'm Hyperborea of Cosmos" She introduced herself before round house kicking the youma in the head.

Falias nodded at his fellow Squire "You're welcome" he said as she swung at the youma.
If he was being honest with himself he was perhaps a little extraneous to the sitution, the Squire pausing briefly to give her name - Hyperborea of Cosmos - before following up on her punch by kicking the youma in its monkey-like head with a roundhouse kick, but it was hard to look past just how young she looked.
"I'm Falias" he replied. "Falias of Earth" as he swung the branch in his hands at the youma whilst it was off-balance from the other Squire's kick.
Hopefully it would be enough to dust the thing given that Hyperborea had already gotten some pretty hard hits in on the thing.

She nodded towards her impromptu partner. The Earth squire had managed to knock down the youma with a well placed whack from his stick. After a few more exchanges from the pair all that remained of the creature was dust.
"It's a pleasure Falias of Earth." She replied once the youma threat was gone. She deactivated her aspect in case she would need it again tonight.
"Would you like to walk and talk." She said motioning towards the path she was patrolling. She could handle a bit of conversation but she would not let it keep her from patrolling.

The whack with the branch hadn't quite been enough to dust the youma, but a few more hits from the Cosmos Squire was enough to finish the job - leaving dust in place of the mis-mash of a youma.
He nodded at the Squire "Nice to meet you too Hyperborea" he said as he set the branch down, continuing as he straightened "I'm fine with walking and talking for a bit" he fell into step as he spoke, his stride unhurried. After all it wasn't that late into the evening. "Do you come out this way often?"

The pair moved at leisurely pace, which Hyperborea was ok with sense she didn't sense any chaos auras in the immediate area. "Um not really I switch up my patrol routes to cover mover ground. I mean I do come here as a civilian...well I did at least." She said thinking about what she had lost before shaking her head and focusing on the here and now. "What about you?"
Hyperborea tried to think of something to talk about. "So is your magic defensive or utility?" It was a weak talking point but it was the first thing that came to her mind. She had noticed that he opted to use a tree branch instead of his weapon or magic so she guessed his weapon and magic weren't offensive.

There had been a distant look around Hyperborea as she admitted coming to the park as a civilian, but Falias didn't comment, nor did he comment on her sudden shift from present to past tense.
Instead he nodded as she asked his question back at him in turn. "A fair bit" he admitted. Truth was that most of his patrols - or at least what passed for patrols - tended to be here in the park.
It seemed that perhaps the youma might be it - at least for chaotic auras - or at least Falias wasn't picking up on any more now that it was gone and dusted.
"My magic?" He looked over at her question. "It's defensive." To be honest given that he had used it all of once, he wasn't really sure of the mechanics behind his magic apart from the fact that it had been enough to tilt the balance during a fight between himself and a Corrupt Super senshi who had been attacking a Page at the time. "It's more useful than my weapon." Not something that was hard given that a lot of things were more useful than the wand that had taken the place of the sprig of mistletoe that he had started off with.
"Was that your aspect you were using earlier?" The silvery sheen that had coated Hyperborea earlier reminded him of the one that Hvergelmir had shown him, when he had met her at her request on a basketball court. Something that made sense given that like Hvergelmir, Hyperborea was a Cosmos knight.

Hyperborea nodded her head. "Yeah weapons seem to be a consistent problem for knights. I guess I sort of lucked out in that I at least have an actual weapon." She said though it wasn't like a bow was really that wieldy on its own.
"Yeah it was my aspect." This guy must have met met another Cosmos knight if he knows what our aspect looks like. Then she remember that Sarras had mentioned his name before. Perhaps he showed it to him.
"It makes my touch painful and unbearable to a being of chaos so it works well with my fighting style and my magic." She explained. "What about your's, I mean earth knights have an aspect too I would assume. What does your's do?"

Falias nodded. Hyperborea's explanation tallied with what Hvergelmir had told him during their meeting on the basketball pitch.
"Visual-wise my aspect appears to be completely opposite to yours" Falias said as he passed his finger over the surface of the green stone with the embossed symbol of mistletoe overlaying the crossed circle of Earth that lay at the centre of his knight ring.
It came easier this second time, the glow that was reminiscent of sunlight that covered his own skin and which made him think of potting out plants and sunlight dappling over trees.
He let it be for a moment, two before deactivating his aspect, the daylight light fading away. "That's pretty much it for my aspect" well okay it was more like that was pretty much all that he knew about his aspect.

"Interesting, I wonder if there's any significance to the cosmos aspect being silver and the earth aspect being gold." She pondered it for a moment.
" I wonder if it has something to with our senshi royalty. I'm assuming Earth has a prince or princess as well. Or maybe it has to do with the planets themselves, but then again cosmos isn't really a planet, so maybe its the cauldron." She thought out loud.
"Oh well food for thought, I guess. So what's Falias like, your wonder I mean." She said trying to find something else to talk about, and wonders were a particular interest to her.

If there was any significance to the colours of the Cosmos and the Earth aspects then Falias hadn’t come across it, although that didn’t particularly mean much given the fact that he had called on his aspect all of two times (demonstration to Hyperborea included).
He wasn’t sure if she’d been expecting an answer when talking about senshi royalty, but he had waited until she had finished speaking before admitting “I’ve not heard of Earth having a Royal senshi.” That again didn’t particularly mean much given that whilst he’d heard Senshi Royals being mentioned in passing, he hadn’t actually met any.
“Earth does have a Royal Knight though” he said. Although it had been a while since his paths had crossed with that of Camelot. Had been over a year in fact.
Hyperborea’s voice cut through his thoughts as she asked him about his Wonder and he found his thoughts turning to the forest that was his Wonder, which in turn had his thoughts turn towards his last visit there.
“My Wonder is apparently named after one of the mythological cities of Tír na nÓg.” He’d looked it up. “But actuality it’s a forest - a really, really big one.”

litian if you want I think we can start wrapping this up in the next few posts "That's interesting I wonder if he or she just hasn't yet awoken." Or perhaps they had and had been killed or perhaps Earth was different somehow. Hyperborea wasn't sure.
She had to smile at the mention of Earth's royal knight. "Yes I know, and I can't think of anyone more fitting for the role. You Earth knights are lucky, you can visit Camelot at any point, I've never even seen Princess Cosmos." She said mostly joking though there was a little bit of truth to that bitterness. She served Cosmos right, why hadn't she ever seen or heard from her. Was she just that far away from her knights. Maybe she was just to busy to bother with meeting her knights, she was after all the princess of the cosmos. Regardless Hyperborea hoped that one day she got to meet her princess.
"Interesting my wonder's name comes from the mythological Utopian society of giants at the most northern part of the world." It was in her name after all, Hyperborea beyond the northern wind. "In reality its a city floating between three stars, though the people were actually giants."

“Perhaps” Falias said. Or perhaps it was more simple - perhaps it was just that Earth didn’t have a Royal senshi. After all it had a Royal Knight.
And he’d not heard mention of any other Royal Knights.
But then again he hadn’t known that there was a Princess Cosmos either, although it was fair to say that he hadn’t exactly asked.
He wasn’t sure how to answer her comment about having never seen Princess Cosmos and so said nothing, although a part of him couldn’t help but note just how much that this kid seemed to know and it helped to highlight just how little he seemed to know compared to her - even despite doing this for two years or so.
Although if he was being honest it wasn’t as if he’d been doing that much on the powered side - unless you counted the periodic trips to the park that tended to pass for his ‘patrols’.
He knew that, that in part would have to change though given his promise to help Hvergelmir.
He nodded as Hyperborea talked about her own Wonder “That is interesting” he said, because actually a bunch of giant people living out amongst the stars really was interesting.
It was starting to get late though, which meant that he would probably have to start thinking about slipping off for home soon.
After all he still had to open up shop as Marlin tomorrow.Aurelius Ambrosius That works for me Aure :3

litian sorry this took so long, but fin "If you'd like I can take you up there some time." She said in response to his comment about her wonder.
Hyperborea felt the aura of a youma, it was faint but she could feel enough of it to track it. She didn't really want to drag the Earth squire along on a chase plus she figured he had better things to do so she figured she'd say her good byes here.
"I have to go, it was a pleasure meeting you Falias of Earth." She said quickly but polietly before dashing off in the direction of the youma she felt.
