Ignatius could feel it, now. He knew he was close to completing his set of armour.

According to what he was currently wearing, there was only one piece of armour left. He had shoulders, leggings, a gauntlet, a helmet, and a mantle. He needed a tabard. Ignatius was almost certain there had to be one on the path he was so used to taking.

Though it was sad to not see anyone he could adventure with this time, he supposed he should not have really been surprised, all circumstances fully considered. That was fine. He would go by himself. There was no harm in that, right?

Ignatius packed his bags of food, put the saddle on his still unnamed horse, and got onto it so that he could start heading down the oh so familiar path to the artifacts.

The trip was starting to get so familiar it was almost boring without someone else to talk to. Couldn't he go on a quest on a different path? Was this really the primary place for artifacts? Why did it have to be on a path with boar and crazy fire beasts?

And bees?

"Oh no, bees," said Ignatius, sarcastically, but his horse did not seem to agree. Despite having seen these bees before, Ignatius' horse was somehow still terrified. Horses were mortal enemies with bees. It bucked him off and ran in its hatred of bees, leaving Ignatius with no one to travel with at all but himself.

And bees.

Ignatius hefted his food with a heavy sigh as he headed towards the forest. Maybe he'd find the lucky food again.

Stupid horse. Stupid bees.

He had to consume more food and put in more effort, resulting in Ignatius having ultimately less food to work with. This wasn't good, though he had left with a bit more food than usual. There was no way he could lose now, even if he couldn't seem to find the location of magically reappearing food.

Which was unfortunate, because he could truly use some of that right now.

As if hearing his unusual moping, the horse returned, galloping towards him valiantly to save him from the monotony of walking alone and the misfortunate circumstances of having no good way to handle his food. Ignatius' mouth broke into a grin. No way! His horse was actually loyal and came back to help him!

Or not.

It approached him, stared for a moment, and then trotted away.

"Hey!"

Stupid horse. Stupid bees.

Going up the mountain was a lot harder without a horse, but honestly, he had done it so many times he was surprisingly used to it all. Sure, it wasn't terribly fun, but Ignatius was stronger and better than some stupid finicky horse.

He was better than all horses. He was better than all bees. He was better than all stupid fire beasts of doom. Where was that thing anyway?

When looking for the fire beast, Ignatius instead found something else. It was something much more promising and yet much more infuriating. It was someone he was quite familiar with, or at least, he was quite familiar with its backside.

Yes, it was his horse again. His horse had once again returned. Perhaps this time it would be to actually save him?

Ignatius watched in anticipation as his horse grew closer, and closer, and closer...

Before it turned tail and fled away again from him once more as fast as it possibly could.

"Oh come on!" Why did he even have a damn horse?!

Ignatius was running out of food fast. He knew he had to get to the top of the mountain and retrieve that artifact before it was too late for his quest for the tabard. He had to have it.

His stupid horse didn't matter now. There was nothing the horse could do to help him at this point, anyway. He was on the summit. He was ready to retrieve the tabard. He would not get dysentery. He would not be attacked. He would make it there, all on his own, with no help from anyone and especially not that damn horse.

Adjusting his cape that he had received from one of the larger shadowlings he had fought, Ignatius marched over to the tabard and scooped it up from where it was sitting at the top of the summit.

Perfect. He had it.

Ignatius let out a loud cheer, not caring if anyone heard him. In fact, he hoped that stupid horse heard him. He had won and gotten his tabard, stupid horse be damned.

Now the armour was complete.
