He hummed as he walked, a soft tune that could be seen as rather hyper if he put actual syllables to it. But, Waka Waka Bang Splat Tick Tick Hash, or as most people just called him Waka, was that kinda guy. He was hyper and happy and over the top. And it made him be far more out there if he could. He wanted to make people enjoy their lives, and he couldn't do that if he was a dopey downer, right? Right! So Waka was happy go lucky and ready to fight the world! His eyes flickered quickly over to the side as he walked, his tail flicking. The hood over his head made it hard for him to hear, but it looked awesome, so who cared right? He laughed at the thought, shaking his head as he turned down a well worn path and toward a more overgrown area. Well, path less traveled and all that, right? He grinned at the thought, before moving forward.
The rainbow adorned stallion was moving quickly forward, not scared, just excited to see what was going to happen if he kept going and found something fun. But for several miles, nothing. He groaned some, and then shook his head. No. Couldn't get down! Waka grinned and stretched slightly before practically prancing forward and into the brush. Little did he know, he was entering the territory of a wolf and her demon. His head tilted to the side as he moved, looking around. Something seemed off, but he couldn't bring himself to stop going. But something was wrong... something was off and it made his fur seem to stand on end. Were there predators here? If so, he stood out like a sore hoof. And if he was careful he could probably hide or out run them. But then he'd be un-fun and that wasn't an option. Waka tossed some stray bangs from his face, getting them tucked under his hood before he dipped his head down and moved forward quietly.
He didn't know what the world or the spirits or whomever was running this show had planned. He didn't know if he was going to be forced into some horrible circumstance or if he was going to get lost and starve or maybe meet a Skinwalker or a fox or something... So many possibilities. But he needed to figure out where he was now, and what he was going to do. He paused near a large tree, peeking through the brush and around the area. His tail flicked behind him, before he shook his head with pursed lips. Nothing seemed to be out and about today.. So much for finding an adventure. But it was still early, and he could still keep going forward! So he did, moving through the forest like an ant on a mission.
A very... colorful ant.

She was bored, but never for long. Lithium Starshine was a peppy little mare with plenty of bark and very little bite, most of it teasing nips--courtesy of the way she was raised. She might’ve been genetically a doe with faerie wings, but in her heart--in her soul--she was wolfkin. She knew of her heritage. She loved it when her momma told her the tales of her basket-hood. It was a fairytale, after all! Once upon a time, a wolf without a memory to her name had been found, saved by the local pack of sheepdogs, who adopted the lone mare as one of their own despite her wildness. They’d healed her physical wounds, and slowly the emotional ones had begun to scar over. She’d been lost--up until the point where she met a beast who ended up being her prince charming in disguise. Sigh… That story was just so beautiful! So the wolfkin and the demon had fallen in love, completely and utterly belonging to one another…but it wasn’t enough. The mare yearned for a pack, a family to call her own and one night, under the light of the stars dotting an inky black sky, she’d prayed to the great Wishing Star, asking for a child of her own. A child that she and her mate could raise and love and care for. And a few weeks later--boom! The wolfkin stumbled across a certain cream and rainbow swirled basket, a tiny foal slumbering within the wicker chambers. Abandoned. Orphaned. But in reality, the basket had been a gift from the heavens, an innocent little filly to test the strength of Cyanide and Phosgene’s love for each other. She loved them both, very much, even though she knew in her heart that she was made of stardust--not theirs by blood, but theirs by soul--and that was enough for Lithium. So here she was, prancing through the forest on dainty cloven hooves when she heard something, a steady clip-clop of hooves and she froze, blue eyes going wide as she peered through the woods, large ears swiveling forwards and back to pick up the sound of humming. Well whoever it was, he was cheerful… And probably not a skinwalker, but you could never be too sure. So with a little smile, she zipped down to about the size of a large butterfly and began to drunkenly flit through the air towards the sound of the stranger meandering through Stardust territory. Her grin only grew brighter as she saw how bright he was. He was just like her! A myriad of rainbows, a delight for the eyes! She giggled, the sound buzzing at the size she was, and then fluttered towards his face. “Hi!” It would be a tiny little sound, like a bug was talking to him. Her wings beat fearlessly through the air as she did a circle around him, her energy endless, it seemed. “You aren’t from around here, are ya, pal?”

Waka was all too happy to be wandering around on his own. His tail flicked behind him, and he smirked. He was going to have a good day no matter what! Even if he had to go and make something of himself. His head tilted to the side, ears flicking slightly. He blinked back some bangs before giving his head a toss, and it caused his hood to fall back from his rainbow colored face. He blinked at the brightness of the sun and looked up, smirking. It looked awesome out here! He’d never seen anything so perfect. This forest was amazing. He reared up some, balancing carefully and let his hooves beat at the air as he stayed up, tail swaying behind him. This place was perfect… just perfect.
The stallion paused as he moved down the forest, having heard something. His head tilted, and his eyes looked. Waka shifted slightly, tail flicking lightly behind him. Something was going on… Someone was here? Waka paused when he heard a tiny voice, almost like a buzzing. His eyes flickered quickly, and after a moment, he saw it. A tiny little mare with fluttering wings and a bright body coloration. Though he couldn’t make out the details, really. His head tilted to the side, and he let out a soft laugh, before taking a half step back, trying to see if she perhaps wanted to be given some room. His ears swiveled to face her, trying to catch what it was she was saying. It was hard because of how small she was. He tilted his head and then smiled lightly. ”Well aren’t you just the cutest little bug ever, huh?” He teased, grinning at her. He tilted his head and then looked her over again, though it only took a second to do. ”You’re a flutter, yea? You should go full size… if you don’t mind. Cause, well… it’s a little hard to hear you.” Waka admitted.
The stallion had never met a flutter before. So he assumed that she was. Or maybe she was actually a bug. That’d would be kinda cool. Whoever thought a bug could look like that? He grinned and tilted his head, before letting his eyes flicker over her. Nah. She had to be a flutter. She had that look. The wings and the little horsy shape. So there was no way she was just like, some bug. And she spoke. So she had to be a Flutter! Which was awesome. He grinned, letting his hood rest against his shoulders and his hair fall somewhat into his face. He had to remain calm. But he was so excited to meet someone new, that he wanted nothing more than to dance in place. He was just a boring regular, and she… she was going to be something amazing. He could feel it.

Small and fae-like, in this form she felt bubbling and happy, flitting around from spot to spot, hovering only for a bit as her gauzy wings fluttered wildly to keep her upright, to keep her from swinging upside down and making a fool of herself. She giggled, the sound high pitched and giddy as the stallion reared up--and what a magnificent display of rainbow he was! Honestly, she hadn’t been around any other guys…well, not counting her sheepdog uncles. They didn’t count. They were family and family, well… She laughed again as the stallion seemed to notice her, his baby blue eyes locking on her tiny form, and his voice… Oh, his voice was something to swoon over. She zipped from one side to the next, each beat of her wings making her feel a little more dizzy, a little more lightheaded. He was no walker--she was safe--and when he asked her to change back, she lightly touched the ground with her cloven hooves and let the magic flit through her body, zinging around like little sparks as she grew, until she stood to sway on all four feet, blinking away the sudden rush. “Oh… Hi there…” she murmured, giggling again as her bubblegum colored hair fell into her eyes, windblown and tousled. Her own lavender eyes glanced up to meet his, almost shyly. She let her gaze linger across his rainbow pelt, the swirls and tribal designs hewn into his fur, so bright and fun. Just like her. She grinned, ears pricking forwards as the dizziness passed and she sprang into action. She circled him, hooves soft over dirt as she circled him, pressing her muzzle up against his flank, unabashedly sniffing him. “You smell like summer. And sunshine,” she piped up, looking pleased with herself as she came up beside him, much smaller than his height. “I’m Lithium. Lithium Starshine and this is Stardust pack territory, pal.” She laughed, like little bells on the wind, a teasing note to her tone. “But don’t worry--Momma won’t eat you so long as you’re with me. I’m her favorite… Don’t tell my brother…” Flipping her hair, she paced forwards a little bit, wings floating gently at her sides, her little cerynei tail wagging with fervor, almost canine in appearance despite her obviously deer-like traits. “And who might you be, rainbow-boy?” She looked him up and then down, all the way to the tips of his hooves. “Do you know where you’re going? Or are you like me--just out for a little adventure.” Her grin was knowing. “Because /I/ think maybe we should have a little adventure. I’m bored and you’re cute. So long as my brother doesn’t come looking for me…” She looked a little devious as she smirked at him. “He’d eat you alive. Don’t worry. I’ll protect you.” She stamped a hoof and tossed her head, spirited but innocent.

Waka didn’t know what he was expecting to see. But a little Flutter was not it. They were… rare. Was that the right term? Because he didn’t know. He’d never seen a Flutter around the area; never seen one in person. And he wasn’t ashamed to admit that he probably wouldn’t have noticed had one approached him. They were so tiny; so bitty even when full sized. And he often accidently overlooked people. And it kinda drove him nuts. But his brain was going a million miles a minute and he couldn’t seem to focus on anything or anyone for too long before he moved on to something bigger, better, shinier. He hummed in thought, thinking he should probably fix that.
When the girl went full size, it even took Waka a second to adjust. He took a half step back, staring curiously at the girl for a moment as she seemed to stagger on her feet. So that rush of power was something that took Flutters by surprise even. He stared for a moment, his head tilted to the side as dark and rainbow hair fell from his face and against the hood of his shawl. He huffed, and then shook his form out, making his muscles quiver, before tossing his head. The hood fell back, letting his hair fall free for a moment before the curls and the strands settled around his neck and face. He smiled toward the girl, letting his ears flick up, and his tail gave a small flick. And then she was talking, and Waka was doing everything he could to try and keep up with the small pixie. Because she was so excitable. Very similar to himself, really. And it made him laugh and smile and his mind move a mile a minute at thinking of what all they could do together.
But then she mentioned something about a brother. And where there was a brother there was a dad… And if one was protective, the other would be. He stiffened for a moment, his hooves shifting in the dirt, before he pushed the thought aside. She’d protect him huh? That was fun. Well, he wasn’t going to be doing anything else with his day right? ”The what? Stardust pack? Is that like… Some form of family… Oh! Ohhh. Oh I get it.” He laughed, shaking his mane out again before he rolled a shoulder in a sort of shrug. Well, if that meant that he would be able to explore some, that’d be fun. He grinned and took a step toward her, not caring that she was so close to him. He didn’t mind. He was used to people getting close to him. He had that vibe. The “I’m not dangerous, you can come over and snuggle” vibe. ”So, what kind of adventure do you wanna do, sweetheart?”
