the idea would be that Loki (before the dark world/what happens at the end credits) feels dejection and escapes to Earth posing as a mortal being. A woman, feels sorry for him and takes him into her home. After a few weeks of this, Loki discovers the cube (the tesseract) and then makes the deal to use it to take over Earth. However, he is unsure about what to do with the woman who had been 'taking care' of him without knowing of who he was or what he could do. If he tries to take over the world would he make her a queen or a slave? And if she finds out his true intentions, will she allow him to do whatever he wanted or try to stop him herself?

Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind during sleep, that's at least what people think. There are two types of these videos played in your mind that occur, dreams which are usually what's always there and then there's nightmares, the ones you want to awake from as soon as you get them. Back to how dreams are created, they say our mind takes certain things and while we sleep that's what creates the nightmare or dream you may have. Now, this is true...technically. There are two immortal beings, they've been alive since the first humans and animals were born and were tasked with the ability to give people either pleasant dreams or malicious nightmares based upon their actions or to give warnings/hints as to what is coming (like visions of the future every once in a while). These two beings lived among humans and animals but as the population grew, it became harder to give people dreams or nightmares. Sometimes, if one wasn't able to give someone what they deserved, the other was suppose to. But the dreamer cannot create nightmares and the nightmare could not give dreams. Soon, people became angry at the dreamer when their dream was something they didn't want or their child was given a terrible nightmare instead of a unique dream. While others wanted the nightmarer for use against those they didn't like or so they could punish others with nightmares every night.

To stop it all, they disappeared all together, people still got dreams and nightmares but without them being there, children grew up unsure if the pair had actually existed. As years passed less and less people believed, and these two were forgotten and the new idea of where dreams came from replaced them. These two weren't actually gone though, they created the system which had replaced them, people's minds worked for them basically, giving each person their own dreamer or nightmarer. However, minds are more easily influenced, a person who was good all their life could watch one scary movie and be given a nightmare over it or sometimes, the dream/nightmare was bland, neutral, and didn't stand out.

These two never stopped working, every night they checked up on a person and reviewed their thoughts at that time, they may also give tests if they were unsure by coming down and changing into an elderly man or a little girl who needed some kind of assistance, big or small. Little tests like these to determine whether you would be rewarded or punished. These two must always co-operate or disaster could come once more. They had to be together almost every single day despite them being basically completely opposites. Their personalities were mostly reflective of what they were in charge of, the dreamer girl was everything good, she was hopeful, joyous, happy, caring, helpful, and things like that while the nightmarish boy could be cruel, sarcastic, merciless, and even sadistic but if they weren't like this, how could they do their jobs?

Could these two have something more than being partners? Could they be friends or even more? Finally, could they ever walk with humans again with their powers known?
