It took almost no time at all for the pare to reach the mountains! However as they reach the fork in the road they didn't even stop! They just blazed down the center path going as fast as Rosewood's legs could carry them! They knew there would be bees down this path the pare had discussed this on their way to the mountains... As much as Camilla loved the mare she wanted to fly back but she couldn't do that with Rosewood in tow so they had both decided! They would take the fastest and widest path to try and get as far as possible before Rosewood needed to go back!

And so here they were! Camilla was crouched low in the saddle being pretty much plastered against the mare's back while Rosewood ran! They encountered many smaller nests which they were easily able to jump over, duck under, or dodge around but finally they would encounter one that was too large for Rosewood to get by!

"Whoa!" Camilla shouts as both Knight and Mare heard it before they saw it! There just around a bend was the biggest bee's nest they've ever seen! Rosewood had to come to a sliding halt before wheeling around and running back a bit! "Wow... Well... I guess we've met our match..." Camilla says with a hint of sadness in her tone Rosewood snorts a bit in frustration before shaking herself slowly Camilla climbs down before sliding her pack onto her back and moving to face the mare "I guess this is goodbye for now girl..." Camilla says while gently petting the horses face Rosewood tosses her head a bit before going in for a nuzzle Camilla returns the gesture with a nuzzle of her own and a hug before turning to face the bees...

The madden things seem to hate horses... If Camilla ran along the outside edge of the path as quietly as possible they might not even come after her... But it was risky... There was a good 100ft drop down the side of the cliff and if the bees came after her she'd be doomed... Still... She had come this far! She'd not let bees stop her! Turning to the worriedly watching mare Camilla smiles before backing up a bit to get a running start before suddenly dashing forwards! Rushing as quickly as she could she skillfully runs along the edge of the path while carefully maintaining her balance! The bees did notice her but by the time they could do anything she was already past them! "Yay! I did it!" she cheers with a hop before coming to a running stop! Rosewood Whinny's happily before turning and dashing off making back for Lancelot's!

Camilla waves to the retreating form of the mare though it likely went unseen because of the cloud of bees still Camilla lingered for a moment before turning and making her way down the path

As Camilla reaches the Dwarven Mountains she stops and frowns for a moment... The Mountains had been a nice stroll their only dangers were wild animals, bees, and slippery rocks and the Forest had been beautiful! It's only dangers were getting lost and giant spiders! But... The Dwarven Mountains were different... They were dark, stinky, and dangerous... Axe, Arrow, and Snake Traps were littered everywhere and SOMEWHERE there was some giant beast inside... Still it was also one of the most important legs of the journey for the Artifict in question would be waiting at the Mountain's peek...

For a long moment she lets her eyes scan the Mountain before taking a steadying breath... This would be her last time going through here so she better just get it over with! And so with determination in her eyes she steps inside!

As usual she takes the medium left hand path while keeping a close eye out for traps... Trip wires were stepped over carefully and any slight indentations in the floor were avoided... She moved slowly and methodically... Until finally she reaches the top! She had made it all the way through without triggering a single trap! Proudly Camilla strolls over to the sitting rock that seemed to one of the uniting features among these mountains then peeks over the side and there to her delight was a simple white crate! "More food!?" she exclaims happily before quickly opening it!

Inside was more traditional fodder such as bread, dried meats, vegetables, etc! By this point Camilla was beaming! But she was also hungry... The trip had taken quite a while and she had long sense worked off her previous meal... But first she needed to do something! "Thanks again Wizard!" she shouts before plopping down! Once again she though she heard a distant chuckle and couldn't help but smile as she began making a nice hearty sandwich!

This time there were no spiders to scare her away from her meal and once she was finished she takes a nice long drink of water to wash it down before getting up and packing the extra food away when she was done she hikes the bag onto her shoulders before smiling towards the exit!

She was almost there! Just a little further and the wings would be hers!

Finally Camilla steps into the early afternoon light! The sun glinted off the snow beautifully butbwas quite bright and caused her to have to shield her eyes... Soon enough her eyes adjust however and she's left to marvel at the view! It really was quite beautiful up here... However beauty or not this is not what she came for! She could admire the view from her wings later!

After turning her attention away from the view to the snow Camilla stomps on it a few times to test it's stability... Yes this might not be a great test but it was better then just blindly walking out on it! She'd suffered too many avalanches now to be careless... Eventually when she was satisfied it wouldn't give on her she steps out onto the peak with clear purpose! She kept her head down as she tried to avoid the bright sun while also searching for deep patches of snow unfortunate... She forgot to look out for something...

Camilla's head suddenly snaps up as she hears a odd sort of... chirping... "Oh dear..." she mumbles as she see's a HUGE bird shaped shadow standing at the very peak! Powerful eyes watched as Camilla approached and it was only after she got close enough that it issued it's warning! There below the Eagle in the snow was the Wings! These were the Eagle's shiny treasure! It would not give it up without a fight! And as if to make this point it spreads it's wings wide and screeches it's challenge! Frowning Camilla sighs and slides off her bag before placing it in the snow... She didn't want to fight the eagle but as she thought about it she found it a fitting battle! She was fighting a eagle for wings! What was more fitting then that! Fortunately she'd already had experiences with giant birds! However she didn't want to kill it just knock it out and so the only weapon she draws is her Buyou Rouzu and she turns it so the Mune the blunt flat side faced the bird

And so after taking a modified version of her usual battle pose she waits... Both Eagle and Knight stared each other down... sizing each other up... The tension was practically palpable as neither moved a muscle... Until... There! Both move in unison! Camilla knew to get the shot she needed she'd have to take some damage and so as the Giant Eagle lunges at her with it's talons she simply raises her left arm defensively in sacrifice! "A-ack!" she hisses as talons cut deeply into her arm! However this was parfect! Instead of trying to hold the giant bird aloft she has her arm give which allows her to deflect the bird off to the side and the moment it's neck was exposed she strikes! With one swift accurate swing she hits the great eagle squarely on the back of the neck! It makes a surprised squack before falling in a heap in the snow! Quickly Camilla moves over to ut to check if she'd killed it and to her delight she found it was in fact just knocked out!

Sighing in relief she returns her Buyou Rouzu to it's scabbard before checking over her arm... She frowns at the blood which colored her sleeve and soon the large gashes which covered her arm as she rolls the sleeve up... However after a moment more she simply sighs and moves over to her bag... She'd had worse... Unfortunately she's discover something that actually would upset her more then her throbbing arm! "Oh no!" she yelps and rushes over to her bag! Apparently during the battle the bag had gotten knocked over and come open! Camilla could only watch helplessly as a few apples, a loaf of bread, and a orange tumble away... "Aw..." she says pouting for a second...

She was a tiny bit down over her careless food loss as she wraps her arm up with alcohol soaked bandages however it would be the glint of a feather in the snow that would cheer her up! Happily after putting everything away Camilla moves over to the Wings and lifts them up! She marvels at their beauty but couldn't hide the slight frown which tugged at the corners of her mouth... She had to stand all the way up just to see the whole thing... It turned out the 'Wings' were simply just a feathered wing cape... Still... It was her's! She had worked hard for this! And if other people's 'Wings' would let them fly surely her's would too! However it wasn't just the question of flight that made her frown... The cape's length also concerned her... She tended to spin and lunge alot when she fought and she was worried she might get tangled in it... But she wouldn't know until she put it on!

Carefully Camilla makes her way down the peak to the summit before holding the wings out to look at them... If nothing more she was proud of herself! She had gotten ALL the Artifacts! Something that not every knight did! All the struggles, all the pain and grit... It had all made her stronger! It had taught her things she hadn't known! It had made her a better Knight!
