The blonde listened to the news that took place in her history class. Her eyes narrowed, watching the television in the classroom, Tara looked worried. She knew what that sigil meant. Her old master and the mam that ruined her life was back or in this case about to be back. She opened her cell phone and clicked on Beast Boys name as she was about to send a message voicing her concern.
A few months after the Titans split up Tara met up with the changling only once and that was to simply apologize and he gave her his number but he never got hers. She told him she would message him when she was ready. Going through with it she wrote, "I think Slade is back." She referred that with the local news. She however was in constant contact with Nightwing, and she also sent him a message, "If he is back. I think I will help this time."
Tara gulped as the two messages sent out and were delivered flipping her phone shut; her eyes returned to the Tv. How would she explain to the team that she was really her friend. The blonde truly missed everyone from the tower.

Tara glanced down at her phone, as Nightwings messaged appeared. She could move back into the Tower. A slight smile formed across her lips. No.. No she couldn’t if he truly was back. Tara would want to confront him. Show him that he doesn’t control her, but with that she would need Nightwings help. Tara stared at the clock, and waited for her class to end. Nothing would make her smile even more, if things went the way she actually wanted them too. Did she actually enjoy school. Yes. Did she make friends? Yes. Is it the same glorified life as before. No. Did she miss it? Yes. Does she miss the Titans. Yes. Did she want that life again. She wasn’t sure. Did she miss Beast Boy? More than anything. But she stayed away to protect him. Terra glanced up at the clock again, it was almost done. Class was almost done for the week. Standing, she grabbed her bag.
As soon as she stood, there was an annoying buzz around her ears. A fly. And it was green. Sighing she opened her phone. And typed in a message and left it there for a few moments before deleting it. Gar. It could’ve waited. The bell rung just a few second later, and she stood and walked out of the room. The fly buzzing around her ear. She growled in an annoying tone, before walking down the flight of stairs and into the courtyard. She smiled at her classmates, “Yes, I will help you with your homework again.” She said to one person who approached her. She glanced at the fly, as she exited the school. “Hey Gar.” She muttered softly. Her eyes looked down, and she smiled softly. “How have you been?” ╔══════════════╗

((From BB’s Apartment)) The green falcon glided to a tree just outside of the classroom he knew was Terra’s. And it was not just because he could see her through the window. He knew she’d be there at this time. He had memorized her schedule back when he was stalking her. To the changeling’s credit, he stopped after she had first told him to leave her alone. But that didn’t mean Gar wouldn’t fly past it sometimes on his way to a job just to catch a glimpse of her.
There was an air vent opening conveniently placed on the wall just above the window. The former Titan turned into a fly and flew into the vents. It didn’t take him long to get into the class. As soon as he did he went straight to Terra who was sitting at her desk and listening intently like a good student. Gar decided it be best if he kept his cover rather than reveal himself to the entire class. Neither himself nor the Earth manipulator needed to be mobbed with attention at a time like this. Instead he kept close to her ear and buzzed enough to let her know he was there. He learned the tactic worked when she showed him a text telling him she understand, but also that she didn’t appreciate his quick reaction. He disagreed. The changeling would’ve appreciated someone quickly coming to check up on him when a vengeful criminal mastermind escapes prison.
It didn’t take long for the class to end and when it did the green fly kept buzzing in her ear all the way through the building until they were outside, just to play with her. When they reached a more secluded spot on the courtyard he turned human and stood before her. Terra immediately greeted him in an obviously embarrassed manner. The shape shifter understood and gave the same reaction. “Hey Terra,” he replied without his usual upbeat tone. His ears had drooped, his eyes kept looking to anything that wasn’t her, and several moments had passed before he realized what he had gone there for. “Oh, uh…..I got your text. Are you OK,” he asked, now facing her.
After another moment of awkward silence, Gar motioned for her to follow him as he was just walking around aimlessly in the courtyard. “So I hope I’m not the only one you’ve talked to about what’s been going on. In case you never noticed I’m not exactly the kinda guy you go to when a crazy psycho villain breaks out of prison. That’s more of Robin—Nightwing’s thing.” He shrugged his shoulders. The changeling had been keeping his eyes down on the ground the whole time. He stopped and looked around the complex. “So you seem to be pretty popular around here. I haven’t seen anyone try to stuff you into any lockers.” A smile cracked on his face. “And did I hear you tell someone you’d help them with their homework? I never took you for the book type.”

She glanced at Beast Boy, as he changed into his human form. A smile formed, “I- I am okay. Nothing has happened yet.” Beast Boy was wondering why she contacted him, yes Nightwing is the better choice when it comes to her former master. “I contacted Nightwing already, we talk here and there. He gave me permission to move back into the Tower, to keep me safe.” She smiled again at the thought, “Gar… I am glad you came. Just wasn’t expecting it right away, ya’ know?” She went silent for a second before she continued to speak, “And you know… you could have stayed perched in the tree as a falcon.. As you are the only green animal I know.” She let out a small laugh.
“EH? Me popular, not really. I don’t have too many friends here. As for homework, I try to fit in help and get help. Some people are better at certain things.” She looked away, “I.. I think I will take up on Nightwings offer… I … I fear Slade more than anything in the world. Nightwing can keep me safe.” She told a partial truth there. She feared one thing more, that was her ex-boyfriends safety and afraid that she would betray again. “Anyways, lets get away from the school How about a Pizza?”

Under any other circumstance it would be nice to see Terra again, despite the distance she had put between them. But now with a madman on the loose this was an incredibly rushed reunion while there was enough to deal with in terms of safety. And Gar was feeling unappreciated and unnerved by her lack of distress. She seemed annoyed that he had come right away. The changeling still could not understand that. Slade was back in town and she had history with him. Was Gar supposed to wait until a more urgent text message like ‘I think he’s in my apartment,’ or ‘help, I’ve been kidnapped’?
“Well I don’t want to bring up the past, but you were his apprentice for a while, and then you brought a cave crashing down on his head, causing him to fall into a pit of lava. If that happened to me I would take that personally. And this is a highly trained, fully equipped mastermind we’re talking about.” He waved his skinny arms for emphasis. “You don’t exactly live in Fort Knox you know. Not to mention I found where you are and I have the attention span of a gnat! He’s probably on his way here! How are you not freaking out right now? How is no one freaking out right now? Has everyone completely forgotten who Slade is?
“And pizza? PIZZA?! We should be running for our lives! Arming ourselves with whatever we can find! Forming alliances with people far more technologically equipped and physically capable to deal with this situation! Not stuffing our faces with pizza and talking about what you learned today in Calculus!” He began pacing frantically with his face buried in his hands. “And so what if Nightwing can protect you? Why would you want to stay in this city at all? Let’s just go somewhere, anywhere that is not this particular city! I’d rather be in the worst parts of Gotham City than here now.” He then began to wander around the courtyard, continuing his rant, not even realizing that he had said ‘we’. At this point Gar wasn’t going to calm himself down and would need Terra to get him to think straight. “Dude, let’s just move to Alaska! Or Canada! Some place with mountains so big and weather so cold that no villain will have the patience to chase us in.”
