Durumi breathed in fresh crisp green air. She hadn't been to the house since forever, but unlike the future version, it was well kept and ready for their moving in. Papers as Failyn had been passed to her, the missing cousin on her mother's side. No one had even bothered to check it. The affairs of Failyn were only important when they seemed overbounding or annoying to the family.
A passing of one home didn't even phase the Namgung affairs.
And because no one had heard of this supposed cousin, they assumed it was illegitimate heir. Not only would Durumi be shunned by the Namgung family, but she would have no expectations towards them either.
It was freedom, freedom she created for herself and Magiore.
Ah, and all these thoughts happened as she balanced large box in her arms, attempting to poke open the door with her leg...hip...
"Please door, if you would open for me, I would be so happy."

He was still getting used to calling her "Durumi." It was a beautiful name, to be sure, and he liked it very much - but Magiore had fallen in love with her as "Failyn Namgung," and while names weren't as important as feelings, it was still taking some time to work around the new sound of it.
It was lovely out here, fresh air around them and blue skies above them. Magiore stood beside Durumi with a box in his arms, not quite as large as the one in his girlfriend's, and he gave a small laugh as he stepped around her.
"I hope you're happy anyway," he said mildly, shifting the box around under his arm to free his other. He reached out and fiddled with the knob, finally pushing it open and stepping inside, Magiore pivoting around so that he could hold it open for her to move in easily.
"I could have carried that, you know."

How dare he laugh at her struggle. She had never moved a day in her life and was finding things to be a lot more difficult then she presently preceded. She didn't bring anything of Failyn's possessions, thankful that her grandparents had left the estate in some sort of furnishment. they would not lack in fancy couches, she assumed.
"I am always happy love-" But just not at this door, and not at that exact moment. she shuffled the box a little more and then blinked. He was so smooth, the way he did it so effortlessly.
Well since the door was open, she breezed by him and set it down in the first open way.
"You could! But this is a team job, and I would rather do it too. If I was....Failyn, she would've hired people too. It feels impersonal you know." She breathed in, musty scents, darkened rooms as the curtains were drawn.
But it was there home now.
"Do you like it?" Well it was only the first step into the house, so it wasn't like they made it FAR but still.....
If he didn't, she could sell it (though it'd break her heart) and find something more suitable.

He liked teasing her, because he liked to see the smile on her face when he did. There were many ways of drawing out Durumi's expressions, but Magiore loved seeing them all; whether they were flustered, excited, happy, adoring or anything in between. In essence, he simply loved seeing her, and it was growing a little pathetic, but he was absolutely head over heals for her now, and there was no turning back, no denying it.
Magiore followed her into the place and set the box down next to hers, brushing his hands together as he looked down at her. "I don't mind helping," he told her gently. "I understand the reasoning, don't worry sweetheart."
The pet name came out unintentionally, but he didn't seem to notice, Magiore's gaze sweeping over the dark rooms, the furnishings, the curtains against the windows. Magiore glanced at Durumi and then his lips curved upwards in a smile that was uncharacteristically mischievous.
"Wait," he said, and grabbed her hand, towing her back outside. Without actually waiting, he swung her up into his arms and carried her princess style back into the house, Magiore smiling down at the beautiful woman held adoringly against his chest.
"There," he said, "The proper way to enter a house."
He bent his head to hers. "And I love it."

She would have it no other way, as her heart always thudded a little when he looked at her. Looked at her like he loved her so much. It was...Yes. Something she treasured very much.
"I'm sorry it's just so new to me. Moving out on my own, but with not being Failyn. I feel much more...adult like then I had only a year ago." She whitened a little, "I've never done taxes or owned a home. What if I mess up?" She reached over to him, "What if I mess this up for us?" It was a very light concern, but instead of lingering on it, she followed him out as he pushed.
What was he up-
"Magiore!" She giggled loudly, wrapping arms around his neck and stilling herself, though she really wanted to squeak and wriggle. "Are you going to do that every time we enter?" She laughed as he still held her, bring her hands over to cup his cheeks.
"I love you." She whispered as he moved closer. "You ease my worries. I hope this is good for us." She closed her eyes. "If I listen, sometimes I hear the memories of the future here. Children running around, the many people we housed." She opened them. "Ghost of futures not yet come."

"It's new," said Magiore gently. "You're learning to be someone else, to be somewhere else, to live something else than what you're used to. It'll take a little bit to get the hang of things. You will not ruin things for us, sweetheart, I can promise you that."
Carrying her inside might have been a silly move, because they were not married (yet, said a small part of his mind that he hastily pushed aside), but he could not quite help himself. Durumi was looking up at him with flushed cheeks and a happy smile, and it sent shivers of pleasure up and down Magiore's spine.
She was so beautifully, wonderfully amazing. He couldn't quite get over the fact that she was his, after all this time, and that he was hers.
Her declaration of love made his stomach flutter. Magiore hadn't quite managed to get the actual words out himself, in spite of the fact that he loved her truly, deeply, but he would, someday, when he managed to get his head in the right place.
Slowly, he lowered Durumi back down to the ground, but he kept his arms around her waist, gathering her against his chest.
"You have my heart," said Magiore softly, and cupped her face in the palm of his hand, thumb smoothing over her cheek. "We will make our future together."
He bent and kissed her, long and lingering before pulling away, resting his forehead against hers.
"You will always have my heart," he whispered. "It will be yours for as long as you wish to keep it."

"How sure can you be?" She sighed, "I'm terrified. I've never done any of this. I feel spoiled and sheltered." She sighed again and ran her hands over his face gently. At least in this she knew, she would probably be spoiled by Magiore too.
"It's all I need." She smiled at him softly, knowing the words were hard to come. But she'd be patient, because she didn't want to rush him. When he was ready, when he felt that the love from the future didn't shadow the love they had now.
Then it would mean the universe to hear him say it.
Instead she bounced into place as she was set down, tilting her head up at him.
"okay mister mushy. We have moving things to do you know." She puffed her cheeks, "Is this your secret ploy to distract me?" She made a face.
A FACE.
"It will never work! I know all about your dasterdly schemes!" She teased, giving him another quick kiss on the lips and running out the door. There was many boxes after all.

"I am very sure," said Magiore with a slight smile. "But I'm also a little nervous too, this is new to me as well, you forget. You're new to me, and this is new to me, and it's all a bit overwhelming, but at the same time, there is nothing that I want more."
He leaned forward and pressed his lips against her forehead before drawing back, laughter in his eyes.
"I have several methods in mind to distract you, darling," said Magiore with a smile, and he lifted his hands, patted Durumi's cheeks affectionately as he clasped her face between his palms. "You are very cute and very lovely, and I would be glad to help you move everything to where it should be."
Her quick kiss sent flutters into his stomach, and Magiore watched her run out, shaking his head in amusement.
Head over heels, he thought, and asked, "Where should we put everything? Did you want to just pile boxes in the front for now just to get everything inside, or did you want everything in its proper room?"

"It's true. Sometimes I just get so caught up in here..." She tapped the side of her head, "That I just naturally look to you. It's cause you're so..." What had Kodi said?, "Stoic."
She laughed again from her spot outside.
"I am sure you do Magiore! Sweeping me off my feet, Kissing me breathless, Talking me into a stupor." She shook her head, "It's a darn hassle with all your wily schemes!" She laughed again, picking a much lighter looking box.
"I was thinking we could pile most of the boxes in the first living room. I can't seem to find the-" There was sounds of muffling from the inside of their moving truck before her head popped out. "I found the kitchen items! we'll probably want to do that first. I'll need to put a wash on for all the sheets. We can take one of the guest bedrooms before we search through the house and find one we really like." She came out, holding a box with pots and pans, handles sticking that way and this. "At the moment, I just want things from the truck to the house because....because yes. PROGRESS." She beamed a polite smile at him.Kuuropii I typed Magiore in the quotation marks for you....LOL

He made a soft sputtering sound.
"Stoic?" Magiore repeated, giving Durumi a look that was mock offended. "I'm not stoic, I just tend to not show as much emotion as other people might do or say."
Which was the very definition of stoic, but that was beside the point.
"I like kissing you breathless," he said mildly, as the sun's rays fell over his face. "A favored pasttime of mine." Magiore stepped up to the back of the moving truck and peered inside, Durumi rifling around in a few of the boxes before her head appeared once more.
"Here, I'll take the kitchen items," he said, extending his arms out to her for her to hand him a box. "We'll just shove everything in the living room again, that way we can also return the truck before the end of the day, that leaves us with no overtime fees."

Durumi's smile softened but there was a twinkle in her eye. She had never seen Auro so offended in his time. He was just.
"I'm sorry, I suppose this is true. It's not stoic." She teased him, even as his words caused a little flush to rise on her cheeks. "You just have a stern look about you."
She waited a moment.
"I met your sister." She shuffled around boxes as she dropped that bomb and the box in his hands.
There you go Magiore.

"A stern look about who now - " Magiore said, staring at Durumi, mouth slightly open. He pressed his lips together and gave her a pointed look before she dropped the box into his arms.
The box, and something else.
For several seconds Magiore just stared up at her, and then he turned and hastily walked into the house.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," he said, voice muffled.

"A stern look about you now!" She rhymed as she shuffled a new box around. Really, she had never seen the shock on his face before and the urge to tease was so fantastically fantastic that she couldn't help it.
And then he was running away.
"Oh no you don't Mister!" She followed after him.
"You know exactly what I am talking about." She laughed, "Kodi's told me all your embarrassing stories you know." Not that Durumi would bring them up again.
"How come you didn't tell me about your sister?" Or any family actually. She froze and then looked down. "I'm sorry." she apologized quickly. "I didn't think, it could be difficult to talk about. You don't have to tell me..."

He was most definitely running away, because if Kodi had talked to Durumi, it meant that she had probably told her some things that she shouldn't have. Or at least, tried to pry into her brother's life. Either way, he wondered how on earth this event had even occurred.
Magiore set the box down in the living room and turned around to look at her.
"I knew I shouldn't have let her in that first time," he said, with some exasperation, but then his expression turned to one of surprise, and quickly he stepped towards her, reaching out to take her hands.
"It's not hard to talk about," said Magiore gently. "Really. I just...it never came up, it's not that I hate my family, it's just..."
A rueful smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
"The kind of life I lead, I never wanted Kodi to get involved."

"At your apartment!" Durumi giggled a little, "She told me she had been by before. She also thought I might be your maid." She waggled her eyebrows, teasing the man.
But it was quickly fading as he grabbed her hands and assured her that the worse case scenario was in fact...not the worse case.
"It's hard to balance the two." She agreed, "And with the negaverse and its demands." She paused...
"But you can't push her away, love." She brought his hands to her lips and kissed them. "She's the only sister you have. It'd be better to...keep her close I think." She nodded, "We won't let the other life lead this one too."
