With the convention season in full swing and fairs cropping up wherever we happen to be, it can be lots of fun...but at the same time...it can prove to be a challenge.
Passing, what restroom to use, what we can do legally, etc. This adds more to our stress levels when we're supposed to be having a mini-vacation of sorts.
So discuss in this topic tips and tricks on how to survive them along with your own stories.
Together, maybe we can utilize these in a possible meetup outside of this site.

One thing that is definitely changing in the Finnish anime convention scene is that nearly every con has unisex dressing rooms for cosplayers, I'm really happy about it because I can use it to change clothes or go to a bathroom if I feel uncomfortable about using mens' toilet. And my sister no more drags me to the girls' dressing room when she needs help with her binder/cosplay, that was really awkward for me!
Also WC used to give me so much anxiety in the past that I simply never used restrooms during the day. Managed to never leave my front row placement during festivals tho. O_____o Like I went in the morning when I left and then when I came back. I have a bladder of a truck driver now LOL. (but seriously kids, it can be harmful to your system, use restroom regularly!)
I have heard people use toilets for handicapped people because they're usually unisex, but I don't like doing that personally.
